Just popped by to mention a top FL bot who is SO successful with her established FL business that she now has time to go back to what she was doing before FL! 😂😂 or translated = desperate for money because she's not making enough.

Fanny are you a pink flamingo? Please PM me the name of the top bot, I'm intrigued.

JaniceBattersby · 06/10/2017 23:39

MrsGotobed that's correct but it's probably not all that fair to her to rake over it here. Whatever we think of her 'business' exploits, she's had an incredibly tough time of it recently in her personal life.

MrsGotobed · 07/10/2017 08:43

I get what you're saying Janice. I don't want to rake over it, just wanted confirmation that I hadn't imagined it.

I had no idea she'd had a tough time in her personal life recently as she seems to be revelling in being a new mum (but then again fb posts tend to only show the positive I guess)

CurlsandCurves · 07/10/2017 09:32

Who is the fl bot who has gone back to work? Just wondering if I know them from my time in it. Can someone pm me (Hun)?

Rumplelipskin · 07/10/2017 09:34

To be fair to her, her relationship to said person is her business and not ours! It was posted some time ago that we were going to keep it to relevant comments about fleecing bots and keep it strictly to MLM business, and the harm it was doing to others. I not that interested in Uberbot's personal life tbh - I wish her well because being a single parent is tough no matter how much money you have!

Toobusytowee · 07/10/2017 11:16

Are there any wine experts here? I'd like to arrange a wine tasting comparison between some Direct Cellars wine and wine of a similar type and price. Are there wine tasting groups about that would help do you think? Any associations out there? I don't know where to start.

MrsGotobed · 07/10/2017 11:18

Sorry, I admit it was an ill-advised and probably wine induced post by me.

I didn't post to criticise her lifestyle, choices or anything, I just wanted a Yes or No to confirm the situation as I was confused.

I'll ask for it to be removed.

(Disclaimer - and before you all have me down as a lush for drinking that early in the evening, I don't normally, it was a one-off with a friend after she'd had a shitty week and I'd been to a funeral)

fitgirl26 · 07/10/2017 11:26

I’m following one of the top Direct Cellars Bots so I’d be interested if you can put something together on them @Toobusytowee. He was previously up to his neck in LTW. The wine he posts looks good but i believe it’s very expensive (unless you’re high up in the pyramid company).

waterlego6064 · 07/10/2017 11:28

I haven’t been on any Botwatching threads for ages but just dipping back in and can’t resist asking for some details of Topbot, Stokebot and Lipbot via pm please?

BSintolerant · 07/10/2017 16:40

mrsgotobed It would be sad if any bot loses a relationship because of their obsession with network marketing cults. Let's hope that's not the case here.

Toobusytowee · 07/10/2017 23:08

If you see an advert for an MLM at a school/local/jobs fair, complain. The more of us that express our disdain, the more the message will get through. There are some letter templates to use on Bot Watch now. If you find you need it in the future, just go to botwatch.blog and look at the menu. It is easy to find. Just copy, paste, tweak and send.

It would be great if people could reply in the comments on the post if they have any success.

fitgirl26 · 08/10/2017 19:00

I had a JP Bot on my friend’s list - he wasn’t very good at it and his posts had zero engagement. It didn’t help that he kept copy and pasting rubbish without even checking it and when a man posts about wanting to lose his “mum tum” it does look a bit odd. I suspect his JP Bot girlfriend and her Bossbabe upline wanted him because he’s a fitness instructor. Anyway he stopped all his JP posts a while ago and now him and the girlfriend have split up. A look at her page shows she’s still massively into JP Botdom. I do wonder if it was a factor in their break up....

Moose23ishungry · 08/10/2017 19:06

Gosh it's vision board time and one of the big bots has roped her teenage daughter into doing one. Full of aspirations for jimmy choo, Ralph Lauren and a bunch of other high end brands.

Poor kids are going to end up with one very warped sense of reality. I wonder what age botkids will be brought into the fray to start their own "business"?

SpecialAgentDaleCooper · 08/10/2017 21:14

I notice the son is keeping a low profile though (again). He seems to be the only sensible member of the that family - avoids the camera and the constant bragging, lifestyle posts. Poor kid.

SpecialAgentDaleCooper · 08/10/2017 22:25

Wouldn't it be great if a vision board included something that wasn't a material symbol of wealth or vanity (cars, holidays, houses, tummy tucks, straight teeth etc) and included something worthwhile like educational achievement, charitable aims, becoming the next Nobel prize winner.....

BSintolerant · 08/10/2017 23:26

Don't give them ideas SpecialAgent otherwise the world will soon be overpopulated with Nobel prize winners who have devoted their lives to flogging aloe shite, mascara which looks like pubes, and magic beans. Do not underestimate the powers of the vision board! Grin

Moose23ishungry · 09/10/2017 08:36

Hahaha I'm sure there's a way that bots could link increased sales of aloe to world peace..

SSDGM · 09/10/2017 09:00

There's an obnoxious increase in Bots offering "part time work" on my local selling site, along with at least 2 JP sellers a day asking who wants to join their group and lose a stone by Christmas.
Having seen what's happening with Xerveo not delivering/paying/the launch/prelaunch/legal/illegal activity of Valentus and the general hopelessness of the Younique bots I'm realising that there needs to be some serious regulation of these so-called businesses. Some of the "leaders" I've attempted to communicate with recently to give a little advice on their perception have demonstrated they are actually brainwashed as hell or actually very, very dim their complete lack of actual leadership skills, business acumen or knowledge of even basic trading laws.
Another point is how on earth with these people ever be taken seriously in the real business world after their MLM bubble bursts? Their reputations will be show when it's discovered that they are previous network marketers. As an employer I would be putting that CV in the bin to the bottom of the pile.

fitgirl26 · 09/10/2017 09:36

Some interesting and sad posts on Richie Howie’s page from people who have had their health ruined by Juice Plus. I guess those are the testimonials they WON’T be sharing...

Jonsey32 · 09/10/2017 11:46

I’m not sure it’s very healthy having children do vision boards and claiming that they will “nail” everything on it.
I think it’s great to aspire to great things in life and will encourage my son all the way but I will also help him manage expectations.
If he aspired to be a child model and I don’t manage his expectations, that it’s a tough world and he may be a little on the short side, then that gears him up to be realistic.
If these kids are pressurised into putting such things in vision boards and being told that failure to reach these goals is not an option then how do they cope with it if they don’t make it?

Annie65 · 09/10/2017 13:55

Totally agree Jonsey, Children should be encouraged, not pressured, and definitely not be encouraged to be materialistic.Thinking of the lyrics to material girl by Madonna.

Moose23ishungry · 09/10/2017 15:23

Don'tcha guys know? If you're not pretty enough, sell some aloe toothpaste so that you can get Botox, go to the salon every fortnight, get your teeth straightened and whitened (that aloe toothpaste needs a bit of help), eyelash extensions, brows filled in, don't even think about leaving the house without full makeup, and then if you're too big then do a c9 and spend three hours in the gym so you get skinny too.

eitak22 · 09/10/2017 15:32

New to this thread so aplogies if rehashing. Interested to hear opinions on Usbourne books? Is it a MLM?
