I receievd 6years worth of statements from HSBC who did not charge for the copies. I sent back a list of chages I would like refunded and a copy of the letter from moneysavingexpert. The charges came to around £2000, I have recently had a letter acknowledging and saying they are looking into it....

BigCremeEggs · 30/03/2007 13:35

how long did you give the bank till they returned all your bank charges? 2 or 4 weeks?

misdee · 02/04/2007 11:01

abby have responmded saying that the charges will be sent out, so waiting for those to arrive so i can do the second letter, nothing from lloyds yet.

am going to open an account with natwest i think today just in case they attempt to closer my accounts.

chacha3 · 02/04/2007 11:02

why the heck are they closing peoples accounts? they are losing more money that way surely?

Trix11 · 02/04/2007 11:34

The 40 day deadline has passed and I have not heard back from Abbey re the first letter I sent them requesting my bank charges back. What do I do next?

BigCremeEggs · 02/04/2007 13:10

havent they gotta advise you that they are closing your account if they ever do?

I am sure a friend of mine got charge £6 a statement!!! Is that right it is only £5 in total. Also, has anyone had any success with Nationwide.

TwirlyN · 02/04/2007 14:02

I am now at what I thought would be the end. i filled Judgment last wed. I spoke to Lloyd's solicitor on Fri who said they would call today. I am hovering over a warrant. I suppose if I haven't heard by 5pm I'll press the button.
