Just came across a good few MNers talking about it on another thread. I don't even know what it is but from the jist of the convo, there's good money to be made from having a couple of hours a day to do it... I have those hours!!
Can anyone enlighten me please?

So I got a bit hooked yesterday after signing up to profit accumulator. I've done the sign up offers with coral, betfred, Stan James, William hill, skybet and 188bet! I'm not doing anymore until the money from these have come in...one of the matches isn't til tomorrow night. Then I'll work through a few more sign up offers.

I have had a look at the reload offers section on PA. Bit worried it starts to get too complicated!

MaidOfStars · 10/04/2017 18:32

There are tons of other bookies to sign up to for more newbie offers.

MaidOfStars · 10/04/2017 18:32

Free bets from Betfair - what do I do with them? Back there and lay them on another exchange?

smileygrapefruit · 10/04/2017 18:58

Oh I know maid , I'm just waiting for all my open bets to settle first so I'm not ploughing more money in. I was just looking at the reload offers for future reference and got a bit scared!

Whisky2014 · 10/04/2017 19:18

What account type for quidco did you choose?

BeeFarseer · 10/04/2017 19:40

Maid - yes. Any back bets made in Betfair should be laid off in another exchange.

MaidOfStars · 10/04/2017 20:09

I went for a standard Quidco account.

MaidOfStars · 10/04/2017 20:10

What's my next exchange site to sign up to then?

MaidOfStars · 10/04/2017 20:22

Did you all have to verify your identity with Betfair?

MrsChopper · 10/04/2017 20:22

Blatant placemark, this sounds very interesting, albeit confusing!

Could do with the extra dosh though!

Cassimin · 10/04/2017 20:37

I used to be a betting shop manager so should understand all of this, I don't!
Have just set up a new email and joined quidco, going to wait until the kids go back to school and then really have a good look.

BeeFarseer · 10/04/2017 20:43

It's been ages so I can't remember, but I think if you're a member of Profit Accumulator, it tells you at some point to sign up for another exchange because there's an offer for doing it.

smileygrapefruit · 10/04/2017 20:57

PA say to sign up to Smarkets.

KosmoKramer · 10/04/2017 21:18

Right. I've really gone at this all guns blazing and need to stop and let my bets settle. Haven't written any of my PhD this week Shock

I've made a couple of rookie errors. Mistyped on a £10 qualifying bet and deposited £19 instead, but after lay off I'm only down 75p. I didn't qualify for the £30 free bet though with Paddypower, yet I followed the link on PA??

I have been keeping a spreadsheet but it's gone haywire. Need to let my bets all settle and then properly tot up my outgoings and incomings.

I am definitely getting speedier in my odds matching and then searching for the relevant matches with Betfair and Bookies. I am going to have to get quicker though otherwise it will be very very time consuming.

I will come back and post my initial profit. I doubt there will be any gasps of shock...I am guessing around £60.

MaidOfStars · 10/04/2017 21:24

OK, first QB placed.

Apparently, I am a keen follower of the Argentinian Premier League, to the point where I am willing to bet on scores...

MaidOfStars · 10/04/2017 21:24

I am going to lose 25p on the above.

MissFitton · 10/04/2017 21:27

Evening. I really hate the BetFred website - I can't find anything on it! Qualified for my free bet with them but can't find the match I'm looking for from the PA site.

Like Kosmo I've lost track of where the cash is already and I haven't done much else work Hmm I think once the initial excitement has worn off I'm going to have to get much more organised!

Dangerismymiddlename · 10/04/2017 21:27

Maid be careful what you bet in as you need to come across as a normal punter if that makes sense?

Premier league football, champions league and europa league football are all good this week as a lot of people bet on them plus there may not be enough liquidity in the exchanges for an event that doesn't hold much interest here

MaidOfStars · 10/04/2017 21:35

Jesus, it feels so wrong to need £112 in Betfair Shock

MaidOfStars · 10/04/2017 21:36

plus there may not be enough liquidity in the exchanges for an event that doesn't hold much interest here
I don't know what that means.

I am a footie fan. I figure my mug bets are all football (even though I didn't frame them as mug bets beforehand). My username is footie linked.

TwattyMcTwatface · 10/04/2017 21:41

Maid just be aware sometimes Quidco takes a while to come through, and sometimes it's not paid at all: they have a sort of appeals process, but you click through the links and then it tells you it's not possible. Look on it as a nice bonus, but don't rely on it!

Whisky2014 · 10/04/2017 21:46

I just did my free 20 quid bet on a draw...is that ok to do?!

Elmersnewfriend · 10/04/2017 21:48

The problem is though Maid that very few people will be betting on Argentinian football scores. The bookies will however know that it is a good "matched bet" as this is what they do too. So your account will quickly get highlighted as suspicious and you will get gubbed v quickly. Or worse, they'll restrict you to tiny tiny stakes when you still need to wager money in order to withdraw (I made that mistake early on with matches betting on one account).

Better longer term to stick to slightly less good matches which are going to be more popular... e.g. Premier league / champions league football or England games.

For anyone into this, Bet365 have their £50 risk free offer on Wednesday which usually nets a £30 profit.

Elmersnewfriend · 10/04/2017 21:48

Yes betting on a draw is fine!!

MissFitton · 10/04/2017 21:55

For the first time in my entire life I'm following the score on a football match! tbf, I know the outcome doesn't really matter but I just need to work out which account, exchange or bookies the money will end up in!
