Just came across a good few MNers talking about it on another thread. I don't even know what it is but from the jist of the convo, there's good money to be made from having a couple of hours a day to do it... I have those hours!!
Can anyone enlighten me please?

How do you keep track of where your waiting for free bets to come from? I'm already getting a bit lost by that now I have 8 bookies in play . Can't imagine what it will be like with over 25 and reload offers!

Oh bloody Hell I'm sure I'd filtered the spreadsheet but I haven't placed my initial bets at high enough odds with Stan James or Betfred to get the free bets.

SO Annoying. Will have to be more careful.

I posted and ran.... sorry.... I had a baby! Hehe. Once I get to grip with this latching etc then I'll be back to read all these replies. So much fab information.

Just a point on mug bets - I've done a couple and was happy to go for odds around 3-3.5 which lost me about £1 on each one. Don't forget to lay your bets too. The idea is for the bookie to see 'normal' betting and hopefully not get suspicious and have your account gubbed.

I don't think there is a way to make a profit on mug bets but I'm sure someone will correct me if I've got the wrong idea.

You can profit on mug bets if you make them on red flag matches.

OK, going to need to subscribe to either OddsMonkey or Profit Accumulator.

I assume that doing this will unlock:

  1. An Oddsmatcher calculator that returns all bookies/exchanges.
  2. Forum.
  3. A list of daily offers and step by step guides on how to play them.

Is this the case for both?

I was planning on starting a new thread in Money Matters where I was going to outline how betting and matched betting works in the opening post. Do we still want that to happen, or shall we decamp to monkey's thread and I'll post in that? I could start another thread that isn't for conversation but for technical explanations of aspects of this process (as we identify them), to run alongside a general discussion thread. That might help us to keep the theory stuff in the same place?

Maid - good idea to keep the technical stuff in one place and the general chat in another!

I have started doing some more signup offers today but have paused as I see that all the payments from my bank account to the various bookies/exchanges are still 'pending' transactions. It might just be because of the Bank Holiday but I'm concerned in case my account has been flagged for unusual activity. I'm about £35 up after the initial two signups.

I will post here or on other discussion thread before posting to the technical place, to make sure it reads OK and is helpful for newbies. Suggest others who want to contribute technical help do the same?
