Still going strong here at bot watch HQ on MN!

Botwatch on Wordpress and on Facebook

Timeless Vie on Wordpress and on Facebook

Eyespeying's Blog aka #manhun, even if he's been banned by MNHQ

Hommetepreneur on Facebook

We have our own regularly returning bots.

Glossary:

Bots: our affectionate name for victims of the MLM racket

MLM: Multi-level Marketing schemes - essentially pyramid schemes that are just legal because you sell a product. Reliant upon constant recruitment despite there not being enough people in the world to go beyond about 12 levels if everyone recruited 6.

Downline/Upline: the people you recruited and those who recruited you (going up and down the pyramid inverted funnel)

Timeless Vie: Parody of MLM schemes (though you might spot one in particular) that also carries out fearless investigative work. Flogging the amazing skinny lard and now carbonated lard. The arsenic is not the evil Victorian stuff. #TeamDannii #gettingalardon

Hommetrepreneur: also excellent parody site focussing on the menz

BotWatch: Rather more serious, keeps an eye on what the Bots are claiming next, particularly in reference to health and income claims. Also fearless.

Inverted Funnel: Timeless Vie is NOT a pyramid - it's an inverted Funnel, OK?

Eyes: Our former member Eyespying who knows LOTS about MLM schemes. He's still our very own #manhun.

NORMAL!!!!! 😂 It's so good not having to think about my conversations with EVERYONE, deciding when I slip it in about products and MLM. I can actually just talk to people and get to know them. I'm a people person anyway and love chatting to new people, but being able to do that without an ulterior motive makes me feel like a better person. More genuine. And funnily enough, my friends and acquaintances who always supported me, but weren't interested in becoming a part of it, talk to me so much more. My 'real' friends 😊 And I have gained some lovely people in my life who said no to me, along the way, who are now friends as a result so it's not all bad 😉

cozietoesie · 04/02/2017 16:30

So leaving sounds to have been a real positive thing for you? Smile

DoratheExplorer17 · 04/02/2017 18:38

Non compliant JP claim. Definitely not allowed. Am I right?

whatsonyourplate · 05/02/2017 11:00

A bot has posted in a local facebook group I'm on:

'I want to meet some new people this month😁
Do you have any social groups in ???'

Am I allowed to reply 'don't answer it's a trap!'?

BSintolerant · 05/02/2017 14:15

whatson you have my permission: you are allowed!😂

Just make sure you let us know how the bot responds so we can all have a good laugh: the world needs more laughter.

HistoriaTrixie · 05/02/2017 15:01

Maybe screencap one of the bot's MLM posts and add it on to "It's a trap!" [ grin]

ScuttlbuttHarpy · 05/02/2017 18:18

I had a rant the other day about a timehop post I had about my new fl business. With the "I'm excited about my new business" post, I basically ranted on about how much of a rip off it was and how a car plan means a finance plan, which you will definitely end up paying for as the "business" model is unsustainable. And the "free" holidays are only free for the four day meeting, and you still need to pay for flights, your family, and any extra days you want to spend out there at twice the price of a package holiday. I let rip a bit. Funnily enough, a couple of my bots have been fairly quiet. They probably blocked me.

Thinkofanumber · 05/02/2017 19:27

My local Fb buy and sell sites are full today of bots for nu skin, juice plus and various other 'pm for more details of this exciting opportunity' Hmm.

And this gem for Divvee, not disguising the fact it's an MLM Grin

Wow, you can actually join The Matrix for £40?!

Wasn't the plot of that film to do with people believing something was real when it actually wasn't...?!

acatcalledjohn · 05/02/2017 23:09

They are partnered with the company's apple?

Well, isn't that fruity..?

OP posts:
acatcalledjohn · 05/02/2017 23:10

Is that the MLM's cherry?

OP posts:
BSintolerant · 05/02/2017 23:39

acat 😂

It won't affect your current MLM so I doubt the cherry will go pop.

cozietoesie · 06/02/2017 01:22

I wonder what these 'crazy commissions' are?

DoratheExplorer17 · 06/02/2017 08:30

ScuttlbuttHarpy. Well done for having a rant, but can I arm you with the right facts so you have the correct facts if they argue.

Car plan is only called car plan because lots of bots use the money to buy a car. It's just extra cash given to you. You don't have to buy a car with it. If you choose to buy a car on finance that's up to the bot.

And with the free holidays, the flights are paid for. You get flights and accommodation for two people all paid for. But you're right that if you want to take the rest of your family and stay longer, then you do have to fork out the extra yourself. Many bots choose to stay the extra nights and take the rest of their family, because they use it as an excuse to have a big holiday, saving the cost of two flights. Hope that helps 😊

cozietoesie · 07/02/2017 10:27

Is it a 'holiday' though ?

DoratheExplorer17 · 07/02/2017 12:54

I would consider it a business trip with some free time and excursions thrown in. They supply the excursions on the global rally trip, but not on the eagle manager trip. The global rally is 7 nights but two of those days are spent travelling and minimum of two days are spent indoors at the actual rally watching people go on stage to collect their cheque over and over and over again. It's very boring. There's some stuff in between but nothing exciting. Then you have a day for whichever excursion they have planned so max 2 days to yourself.

The eagle manager trip is now only 3 nights. If you want more you have to pay. And you are basically there for two days, inside a conference hall. Very little free time if you just go for the alloyed time. And there is a party on the final night but then next morning you're packing up again to go home. Kind of pointless going to all these places if you just go and spend the whole time indoors. My kids wanted to come with me but I told them it was work and that I would go on the trip with someone in my team, scout the places out for what to do when there and then go back with my kids for a proper holiday. Definitely wouldn't describe the trips as holidays at all. Well not my idea of one anyway. The most fun I always had was getting totally trollied on the flight out there with everyone

Whatsaldigottodowithit · 07/02/2017 13:52

Is there a list anywhere of who has actually qualified for Dubai?

Kevinthecat · 07/02/2017 14:32

Topcoffeebot up to no good rumour is

fitgirl26 · 07/02/2017 15:27

Ooh Kevin - intriguing!

Kevinthecat · 07/02/2017 16:22

Yup heard a rumour. Well actually its true coz someone I know seen proof

Annie65 · 07/02/2017 16:45

Dora, I have often thought how boring it must be to hear the same stories over and over again, and well done for getting out of it all, you must feel as though a weight has been lifted from your shoulders. Smile

Spongebobette · 07/02/2017 17:55

What what what???

BSintolerant · 07/02/2017 18:12

Show me a shill who isn't up to no good. Wink

Kevinthecat · 07/02/2017 19:06

Pulling the same stunt with her two partners in crime like the last rip off they did in that shopping con. All have joined another network set up secret group the lot and poaching some over and ready to bail on rest of the poor idiots they have conned into it! Coffee must be too much hard work for them unlike the Yazoo😂 The three marketeers its called more like the three ripoffteeers! Seriously how do they even sleep at night
