Be a Recruiting Machine, lets tell it how it is. Recruiting a downline is all you need to do to be 'successful' in MLM.

Yes, *uck the products Hmm.

Here you can get the Ultimate Memory Jogger.

Yes, you CAN learn now to remember EVERYBODY you have ever known in your entire life, including THEIR friends/family/colleagues/Uncle Tom Cobley and all. You can rate them, and use different scripts to hook them and reel them in.

Come on, it's a free download, I bet you can't wait to get started. What's not to love about exploiting people you know?

Good grief! The world has gone mad. How is LTW still in business? Not that it is a business ...

keeptheaspidistra · 14/08/2016 09:17

Wow. The LTW video. Its not about the products it's about recruiting.
Sounds like a pyramid scheme checklist

Spongebobette · 14/08/2016 12:11

Small pockets of time

Never heard this expression before, until the bots started using it. They use it all the time. Gah.

NorbertDentressangle · 14/08/2016 13:46

Been away for a while and just catching up .

I see the FL kids are being used again - standing up to say how wonderful the company is, how happy their mums are blah, blah, blah....... just how children love spending their summer holidays Hmm

Also couldn't help but notice one of our favourite bots deleted a few comments that made her look like a bit of an attention seeker (think along the lines of the one thing you don't do at another woman's special day....). It's all about maintaining an image isn't it, and it seems if you don't like a response or reply you just edit it out and everything looks hunkydory and positive again.

CamelsAndMaus · 14/08/2016 16:16

International check in

A couple of images (posted seconds after each other) which demonstrate the religious element of UNO (and when that fails whatever is next).

For the record, I have no issues with faith of whatever religion; but they are using the strong Catholic faith of the Filipino community here to peddle this wampum and probably in their own country as well. And it is interesting that the whole scam is spreading out to other countries where religion is important (Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia).

Only positivity is permitted, Norbert. If you can't be positive you're against the MLM so anything goes.

(Unless you're still 'learning' of course which just puts you on the road to positivity. Still malleable etc.)

crazyspaniellady · 14/08/2016 18:54

I'm a long time lurker on these threads, but I've got a new bot and the whole thing rubbed me up the wrong way! Angry she's a Juice+ bot, and there's the usual #bossbabe crap and I can handle that. The main thing that irked me was that she's had 2 kidney transplants, and I'm worried she's been brainwashed into thinking that these are perfectly fine and are a healthy way to lose weight, and I'm so worried she is going to do herself some harm Confused
Another thing that bugged me is she has been messaging a friend of mine (who has lost weight through changes to her lifestyle - diet exercise etc) asking for before and after pictures so she can use them to promote Juice+! Angry My friend has worked her butt off to lose the weight and keep it off, she's in the gym twice a day some days, determined to get even fitter and keep the weight off. I would also like to point out she's NEVER met said friend and I am their only friend in common on social media so I can only assume that it was due to a photo I 'liked' coming up on her news feed that alerted her to my friends weight loss.
I am just so annoyed, my friend fired back a very angry reply and I've had words to, neither of us have had a reply from the bot but it has just made me so UNBELIEVABLY angry!

Ladiva1971 · 14/08/2016 19:08
looks like looks like Why do they need so many batteries?????????????
cozietoesie · 14/08/2016 20:17

I find it very sad. Those poor people.

Ladiva1971 · 14/08/2016 20:42

I did wonder if these hampers were free but they say that they have bought them as part of their normal grocery shop, Who needs that many bin liners and batteries? Unless you are in an Ann Summers MLM...............

WindyTriller · 14/08/2016 22:05

I probably would use most of the stuff in those hampers but surely you can get it cheaper than £165 or whatever it is?? Oh no of course it's "free" isn't it silly me!

MyCatsHateMLMtoo · 14/08/2016 22:43

Gawd, those youtube videos are cringey. The stuff that they gush and enthuse over is random and useless, for the most part. And, they have paid a massive premium for stuff that is end of line, close to use by date, and obsolete, and impossible to sell in shops.

I am so angry that people's religious belief is being exploited in order to persuade them to join, it is horrific, CAM. Sadly, I have seen that there is no depths that these MLM companies will sink to in order to get a sale or recruit a downline.

Spongebobette · 14/08/2016 23:18

I've just watched a video (and cringed throughout) by a Global Business Coachbot who has a team of 7000
She's full of shit
All the usual guff about struggling at school but now earns gazillions thanks to the wonderful company she 'works alongside' and could retire tomorrow and still get paid residual income (yeah right someone would be straight in and pinch your down lens) and her kids are financially secure due to willable income
Sucking more poor women in. Appealing to those with no qualifications in particular
Boasting about her new Range Rover

It's al so transparent when you know how it all works. Gaaaaah

Spongebobette · 14/08/2016 23:22

*down line

Wondermoomin · 15/08/2016 00:24

Does anyone know anything about Myshowcase? Is it a genuine opportunity or an exploitative MLM? I don't know because the entry cost/sign up fee seems high but there doesn't seem to be any requirement to hit targets and it looks like it's backed up by good products...
(sorry if it's already been covered in one of the earlier threads, this is the first one I've started following)

Toobusytowee · 15/08/2016 01:41

I have just been looking at Myshowcase's website and declare them to be an MLM.

They have downlines, you recruit people and earn from their sales, there are sales targets to qualify you for sales commissions and to move up the pay plan. If you don't meet these targets for 3 months in a row, your downline are taken away from you. They describe themselves as being like AVON. They have the classic warning about trading schemes being illegal if they promise rewards to others for signing up more people. And the ubiquitous "share the opportunity by building a team".

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 15/08/2016 11:47

Just seen that one of the FL top bots (who already has something of a reputation for posting heavily filtered selfies every five minutes) went to a wedding this weekend - and wore an entirely white outfit.

I imagine she was a laughing stock amongst the other guests but if I were the bride I'd have kicked her from here to the middle of next week.

keeptheaspidistra · 15/08/2016 15:17

MLMers love a social faux pas!

Spongebobette · 15/08/2016 16:36

Eeek a wedding, an AMAAAZING prospecting opportunity!!!

Spongebobette · 15/08/2016 16:46

"Hello what a lovely wedding...,you don't know me but I have an amazing business opportunity I'd like to share with you, you can work your business in the pockets of time you have available and work alongside an amazing company"

keeptheaspidistra · 15/08/2016 16:55

Don't forget all the things you can qualify for sponge.
I am always amused how people tastaslk about qualifying four trips abroad but never actually go on them!
