I have no idea who "humblebot" is?! Can someone enlighten me pwetty pwease

keeptheaspidistra · 01/08/2016 17:03

I've watched a couple of videos by people who have switched from an old company to a new company. The new company is amazing. Its a great company. Amazing things will be happening with this company. Oh yeah the products are great too.
No mention of what its actually flogging. Surely any genuine business would actually want to plug its wears?!
What is a multiple six figure income?! If you're going to brag at least do it properly and throw some numbers in. And as for feeling restricted by earning too much (but "changing" to do the exact same thing for allegedly the same money) I cannot fathom that? I think I'm missing the obvious

FuckitsAndSpades · 01/08/2016 17:12

I think these multiple six figure people are counting the numbers after the decimal point LOL
i.e. £1000.00p/yr Grin

darceybussell · 01/08/2016 18:37

I think what she means is that she has reached a level where the average income figures are six figures (in dollars). Presumably she hasn't actually earned anything yet as it has only been a few days.

She must have poached a lot of her downline and recruited enough people to get her to the high up level. However they might all leave tomorrow leaving her earning nothing for the rest of the year.

Note to bots: a 'six figure earner' has to actually earn six figures by the end of the year, otherwise they are just a liar.

Everything is just embellished to the max isn't it. To be honest it's not just bots, my brother is awful for over exaggerating everything too and he has never been in an MLM!

Deerking · 01/08/2016 18:39

I have had a friend request from a younique bot. To accept or not? I might do as my other bots seem to have seen the light, or have been banned!

cozietoesie · 01/08/2016 18:57

Remind me about the mechanics of the thing. If you accept the request, does she then have access to all your other friends? (On your current settings at least.)

Deerking · 01/08/2016 19:12

Unfortunately I think she will, even if I place her on a restricted list. I better not take the risk. I hadn't thought of that! Thanks Cosie.

Deerking · 01/08/2016 19:12

Cozie, sorry

TFPsa · 01/08/2016 20:27

"Six figure" most likely means two grand in a week?

I'm thankfully entirely ignorant of how the pay works but if there's a fee for every schemer you sign up to the pyramid then I suppose, if you're bringing a goodly number of others round from another scheme, your first week or so might be one of your most lucrative?

kamchatka23 · 01/08/2016 21:49

It'll be projected earnings most likely, and the 'promotions' thing is ridiculous- my Ariix bot was promoted about six times within the first month!
My two Forever bots have been strangely quiet over the last week, I'm expecting them to post a video about an 'amazing opportunity' very soon.

cozietoesie · 01/08/2016 22:02

Promotions and benefits can be allocated according to you and/or your promotion/benefit's perceived value to the organisation. (Publicity is included in that valuation.)

cozietoesie · 01/08/2016 22:11

After all, 'My name is [Wilhelmina] and I've already reached Platinum Penguin level and will be earning squillions after only two months with NewMLM' might be seen as a powerful message by some people. Smile

keeptheaspidistra · 02/08/2016 08:25

I'm seeing this shared a lot. The article does not cite any proven health benefits but you'd be forgiven for thinking otherwise from the way FLP'ers are sharing it. No mention of the existing health claims already being spouted (aloe helps IBS, acne, eczema, cancer, depression etc etc). The article does state it is used in washing up liquid and laxatives. Yummy!

New thread 25 here. Will add usual links.

CamelsAndMaus · 02/08/2016 10:29

Thank you MyCats I was debating trying to work out how to do it and was actually worrying about it at 3am - yes I really am that sad!

But I still feel a bit of a newbie to the whole site to take responsibility Blush as I only joined up because of this topic (but am starting to post elsewhere under a NC).

MyCatsHateMLMtoo · 02/08/2016 14:59

I'm off work so had time to do all the links, CAM Smile

YouOKHun · 02/08/2016 23:39

Anyone come across Maelle? I think it launches in the UK in October. Their approach is to hook bots in by running a stealth recruitment campaign. They have an FB page called "all things gorgeous'; highly stylist, aspirational beauty shots, pics of make up, inane chat about all of that. But what is really cheeky is that they are not owning up to having an MLM behind the page but they are hoping to convert followers into bots. They are also brand parasites; using pics of brands like Mac, Stila, Geurlain to build loyalty and page image for their soon to be bots. Time to tweet those brands and ask them if they're happy with their carefully curated brands and images being used by a pyramid shaped organisation for its promotion!

MyCatsHateMLMtoo · 03/08/2016 00:25

YouOK, see my post above, new link for thread 25, and post there Smile.
