Re your mlm V job screenshot gotta: UGGGHHHH. Where did this notion of a "job" being a restrictive single entity come from? It's as equally ridiculous as the derogatory SAHM bullshit I've seen shared. There are so many options out there for mums (and dad's). Full time, part-time, shifts, job share, flexible working, term-time only, annual leave, unpaid leave if you really need it, time in lieu, maternity leave/pay, sick pay, compressed hours, free training/recognised qualifications, promotions (I'm talking real ones not paying to parade yourself on stage in a sash like your in a cheap beauty pagent. No offence), pensions, health care plans, childcare voucher schemes.
I could go on and on but I won't because it's boring. Just like the people who peddle these crappy claims.
And as for a willable income.... PAHAHAHA. Why not support your offspring to pursue the training/education/skills/experience they need for a career of THEIR OWN CHOICE. Any one who doesn't want better than selling toiletries on Facebook for their child is a bit loopy IMHO

ForeverYazoonique · 27/07/2016 17:19

Yes aspidistra exactly! All those people with dull jobs working in TV or theatre, as surgeons, police officers, fire officers, airline pilots, gardeners, beauticians, stockbrokers, reporters, farmers, researchers, academics...or indeed just a regular office job with fun colleagues, reasonable hours, and training. Or a manual or active job. Or a supermarket job that fits in with your childcare needs...

There are so many types of jobs I've thought of quite a few more just typing this sentence.

keeptheaspidistra · 27/07/2016 17:59

I've got grumpy old bastard syndrome Forever lol I get irrationally riled by these posts lol. I've got a friend who can go to her kids sports day because of FL. Can go on school trips because of FL. Can go to blah blah blah because of FL. Guess what I can do those things too AND I have a job. But I can do all these things without boring every body with gushing posts attributing being able to do normal parenting to effing aloe vera/plastic vegetables/spider mascara

Spongebobette · 27/07/2016 18:05

My FL bot is spending time with her kids while building a willable income for them.
What.

cozietoesie · 27/07/2016 18:07

MLMs feel they have to something, aspidistra. Grin

keeptheaspidistra · 27/07/2016 18:29

I will be honest. The working mums posts work. They hit a nerve. They make me feel uncomfortable. But not because I feel guilty about leaving my children to go to work. I don't. I'm happy that I am providing for my children, promoting a realistic work ethic etc but the shitty don't go to work mummy memes bug me non the less.

cozietoesie · 27/07/2016 20:45

say something

keeptheaspidistra · 27/07/2016 20:46

I gotcha cozie Wink

cozietoesie · 27/07/2016 22:17

Ha. I'd blame my device but that was all me, I'm afraid. Grin

HelenaDove · 28/07/2016 01:57

Does actilab/ actiderm come under the MLM banner?

Ladiva1971 · 28/07/2016 02:25

aspidistra I hear ya!! it is 02:15am and I have just got in from my real life work, my youngest left home last year, to live with his Father, however he is nearly 16 and my work completely understand if I need time off to go to a parents evening etc. The problem I find is that my Son doesn't want me there!!! Not gonna lie I am 44 with four kids but ages are 28, 23, 21, 15 my FLBot is 44 with 3 kids aged 17, 8, 18 months.......I don't know if there is a pattern but a lot of people I see getting hooked are around my age, with baby brain???

keeptheaspidistra · 28/07/2016 09:48

Helena judging by the recruitung posts I see in the Facebook groups I'm in I'd say yes actiderm is an MLM

keeptheaspidistra · 28/07/2016 09:59

Get paid for taking selfies!

Why not join my Actiderm team, earn money wherever you are & get paid EVERY FRIDAY!

No targets
No pressure
No hassle

Great commision
Great incentives
Great fun

keeptheaspidistra · 28/07/2016 10:01

So if I post 100 selfies but don't sell anything or recruit anyone I would still get paid. Wahoo Hmm

Toobusytowee · 28/07/2016 10:25

Actiderm are defo an MLM. They feature in the BotWatchBlog directory. There's a dodgy picture on it of someone pretending their wraps took inches off their arm.

Delurker2016 · 28/07/2016 13:51

Cosie in answer to your question - no I couldn't see it when I was in it. In my head everyone else was wrong and not being supportive. They just didn't understand what I was trying to do.

What's lovely now is that my phone doesn't go off every single second of every single day, I can chat to people about them and not be thinking 'how can I bring the business up'.......it's lovely to be genuinely interested. OH and I can buy the hand wash I love and it doesn't cost me a small fortune. I've literally just replaced everything, sounds so silly but it was such a great feeling.

cozietoesie · 28/07/2016 14:02
Smile
Annie65 · 28/07/2016 14:34

Delurker, its always nice to hear the other side and how it felt. I cant imagine how it was, very happy for you and its very brave of you to come on here and tell us your story Smile

Delurker2016 · 28/07/2016 21:09

I was like ultimate Bot lol I truly believed that I had never been happier.......I can now see actually how miserable I was and that it was an act. I never laughed, ever. I was constantly stressed and tense, I dreaded opening my messages. It's bliss now. I can see statuses tonight about them all training or at a presentation......I'm sat in my pjs watching celeb big brother after having a lovely dinner with my partner, completely relaxed and not once have I had to hug a #hun.
I'm #winning 😂😂

cozietoesie · 28/07/2016 21:57

....I never laughed....

That's truly sad.

ForeverYazoonique · 28/07/2016 22:41

Sad to never laughing

Too much pressure. Plus it's not a job, it's totally a "way of life"

That's why it's a cult

HelenaDove · 28/07/2016 22:51

The friend who was selling Younique is now doing the actilab diet. It looks like a fad diet to me.

Delurker2016 · 29/07/2016 06:22

It's definitely a cult. I literally see the same crap churned out by all of them day in and day out. None of them are unique in any way, yet they believe themselves to be. They're failing to see that it's just all programming. When I think about what's happened to me and so many others, it annoys me when I read things like 'I am so proud of the lives I'm changing'
What about the lives you've ruined? The people you humiliated and named and shamed, the ones who were deserted by their 'forever friends' in the blink of an eye. But then that's the thing with a cult, they don't believe themselves to ever do anything wrong. Difference is I know the truth behind all those statuses, the tears, the stress, the late nights, the constant messages, the trainings.......smoke and mirrors. Thing is if they actually told the truth no one would ever sign up.

keeptheaspidistra · 29/07/2016 08:57

delurker you're right about failing to see they are programmed. I don't get how people can genuinely believe they are business owners and their own boss etc?! If you are your own boss why are you being promoted by someone else?
The other thing that fuddles my small brain is this... I see lots of talk about being busy and working long hours and i'm sure this is true. But doing what?!

Deerking · 29/07/2016 09:34

Has anyone else been getting a lot (and I mean practically every 2nd one) of sponsored ads on their Facebook from MLM bots? It's bugging the heck out of me. Luckily they don't seem to have much response, maybe 2 or 3 comments and a handful of likes...
When I've checked the "why I am seeing this advert" most of them are targeting women in the UK between 18-44.
