Aaaarrrrggghhhh another friend has just started the juice plus nonsense trying to sell it on Facebook. I now have 5 friends posting some sort of MLM craps on Facebook. I may have to start unfriending

Toobusytowee · 09/04/2016 17:50

Woodenmouse, I think it might be a good strategy to just unfollow them rather than unfriend them. If they start losing real friends, soon their friends list will mostly consist of just bots. It'll drive them deeper in the end.

cozietoesie · 09/04/2016 17:55

Would someone remind me - what's the General MLM churn rate? Smile

throwingpebbles · 09/04/2016 17:55

I agree, unfriend, don't unfollow, many realise how ridiculous it is and want to find a way back to their friends and family xx

Motorheadmum · 09/04/2016 17:56

The Tv exposed page is obviously product of too much vino surely? If you look at the page it makes no sense whatsoever..... Why would someone seriously think that Is normal?

MrGrumpy01 · 09/04/2016 17:56

If I am totally honest the 'but everyone else tests on animal's' doesn't bother me. I am aware enough that this is by and large done so that product can enter the Chinese market. FL don't operate in China therefore the argument is null amdvoid.

One may question why a company feels the Chinese market is more important but to me it is not a convincing enough argument to switch products. I wonder if that is the reason fl doesn't operate in China (are mlm's illegal there?) or it is just a nice line to have as they don't.

cozietoesie · 09/04/2016 18:05

I just don't think they realise what they've gone and done, MrGrumpy. Smile

Kanga59 · 09/04/2016 18:42

I would imagine that's the point Motor head. people searching for the TV page will go to the exposed one instead, think it's a load of garbled rubbish, and not bother with it therefore

I assume the photo has been reported as plagiarised from your TV site (directed at whoever owns the TV Facebook page)

BSintolerant · 09/04/2016 18:58

TV exposed are cheeky buggers for stealing Timeless Vie's intellectual property on their FB page. Wink

Have Timeless Vie instructed their lawyers to send a menacing letter to TV exposed? You know, telling them to get their jamberry tipped fingers out of their arses, to remove TV's profile photo from their FB site within seven days? Bots should also note that if they don't remove TV's intellectual property from its FB page, TV reserves the right to release a large flock of long-distance parslaii pigeons (the numbers of which are said to be in the region of six figures) to fly to the dwelling places of the bots (rented castles, rented barns, mothers' sofas, sheds and squats) to shit all over their whiny shite cars. To ensure a steady shower of shite the flock of parslaii pigeons will be fed on aloe vera from Holland & Barrett prior to targeting the botmobiles. Grin

cozietoesie · 09/04/2016 18:59

I think some people might be disappointed to learn, Kanga, that a quick search only reveals the real thing. Shame, eh? Smile

Woodenmouse · 09/04/2016 19:00

Toobusy you may be right!!

cozietoesie · 09/04/2016 19:03

I do hope that they had someone check their entries over before posting. (Including one rather disparaging comment about a commercial company.) Oh Me, Oh My.

NorbertDentressangle · 09/04/2016 19:18

The Tv exposed page is obviously product of too much vino surely?

That was precisely my first thought.

My second thought was ..... keep digging! Grin

Toobusytowee · 09/04/2016 19:36

MrGrumpy, MLM is illegal in China. However, FL do have operators there. They allow direct selling and have set strict rules for these. I am assuming FL are following these rules and not being MLM there? Or there are ways around the legalities. Have a look here ethanvanderbuilt.com/2015/08/06/multi-level-marketing-is-prohibited-in-china/

Motorheadmum · 09/04/2016 19:53

Well I'm sure some of this thread will soon feature on TV exposed! toobusy looks like your question is still there.

Kanga59 · 09/04/2016 19:56

perfect BS!!

MrGrumpy01 · 09/04/2016 20:12

Thank you.

So it seems that mlm's are exploiting loopholes instead.

Toobusytowee · 09/04/2016 20:51

Oh yes motorhead! I was looking in the wrong place!

cozietoesie · 10/04/2016 11:54

Motorheadmum · 10/04/2016 12:17

Loving eyes new blog.

Surely it's about time mumsnet let him back on?

throwingpebbles · 10/04/2016 12:38

Yeah, pretty sure he has spent long enough on the naughty step now???

#teameyes

stopfaffing · 10/04/2016 12:40

Great to hear from eyes. I have left a message...

BSintolerant · 10/04/2016 12:46

Loving the new blogpost Eyes :)

Here it is again: mlmtheamericandreammadenightmare.blogspot.co.uk/2016/04/mumsnet-members-challenge-pernicious.html?m=1

Come on Mumsnet let Eyes come back. If he has to sit on the naughty step he'll get piles (I'm sure Forever Fibbing and Jizz Plus have got a cure for that). Grin
