I hope someone is thinking about assembling the OP - including links - for the next thread? We're getting to that point again, I fear.

worcestersauce29 · 22/04/2016 14:30

the kids should be at school ?

NorbertDentressangle · 22/04/2016 14:30

The generosity of the company (FL) is truly outstanding isn't it?

I mean, I've just seen a top bots photo of the hospitality suite/executive box for the elite at the rally - there's this vast stretch of table with 12 small bottles of water and what looks like some bags of crisps/packets of nuts.

The photo - posted separately in case it's not allowed

LOL at a certain persons 'where else would you be given a lump sum of money for simply doing your job ?' err - pretty much every job. That is (normally) part of the deal. It happens every month and is called a salary, plus a bonus once a year if you are lucky!

I misscubic. :( I need a reality check. But even for the big guns, once you turn it into pounds, divide by two people, remember that it is their earnings basically for the whole year and then knock off expenses, it isn't a huge amount, is it?

Kanga59 · 22/04/2016 14:47

pmsl at that photo!!

cozietoesie · 22/04/2016 14:48

FL

As I've said before, I have little doubt that there are a very very few people - in proportion to the size of the organisation - who might make money at the MLM game.

I just keep reminding myself 'Where did the money come from? '

cozietoesie · 22/04/2016 14:49

PS - and by what means?

(Sorry - had to deal with something. )

Patzy85 · 22/04/2016 15:04

Well there are 9.5 million distributors worldwide and around 1000 cheques that are being given out at the rally.

I would be interested to know how each individual bonus is worked out.

cozietoesie · 22/04/2016 15:23

I suspect that 'enquiring minds' generally would be interested, Patzy. Smile

Kanga59 · 22/04/2016 15:23

The bigger your cheque, the more people you have ripped off, the more successful at being conniving you are. Its to be embarrassed about, not proud of.

Three top uk bots have just been up to receive their level2 chairmans bonus cheque - circa 130k each(dollars - not sure which dollar tho)

Are these cheques cashable at face value?

Stuart & rebecca got $157,741.19

disclaimer.......I have no idea who they are !!

emmajones95 · 22/04/2016 15:48

Gosh you must all have terribly busy lives Grin

I couldn't help but click on the link that throwingpebbles (I think it was) posted up - glad I did because it gave me a right laugh!!

I don't mean to flummox your tiny brains, or those of the author over at Timelessvie, but spot the flaw here -

"SOME QUICK MATHS.

Let’s pretend you are a super awesome Consultant and make £536.24.

£600 –

£536.24

= -£63.76

YOU WILL LOSE 63.76 POUNDS A YEAR.

Well, we’re convinced. Sign us up!"

I think this person must be using the term 'maths' very loosely lol. The fact that the person in the example made £536 in commission means they must have sold around £2000 worth of product, so why on earth would they be needing to spend the £600 to remain active?

Dear me.

worcestersauce29 · 22/04/2016 16:12

wheeled trainers bot now taken to the stage, telling how to 'soar like and eagle'

makes me want to vomit

cozietoesie · 22/04/2016 16:12

Has anyone put together the OP for the next thread? Smile

Toobusytowee · 22/04/2016 16:17

Emma, that Timeless Vie post was talking about Jamberry where you have to spend £600 a year to remain active.

BSintolerant · 22/04/2016 16:20

Dear me.

You have to hand it to the adherents, Toobusy. That's a lot of partying. Wink

Merclady · 22/04/2016 16:46

Wow all that time and money and the queen of the castle gets a five night cruise with Royal Caribbean

The cheapest cruise on their itinerary !

gottaloveascamhun · 22/04/2016 16:49

Perhaps for a stay at home mum whose husband earns enough to support the whole family, dabbling in an MLM isnt such a big deal. But if you are trying to make an actual wage, to pay mortgage, bills, food shop etc you would need to recruit recruit recruit and work 20 hours a day on your business. How can you do this with children at home to look after? I'd rather go to work and get holiday pay, pension, sick pay, may pay, Emma. Actually I work part time as a teacher, get 13 weeks paid holiday, I do work evenings but get a huge amount of job satisfaction and I've started my own business as a hobby and pocket money on the side (not an mlm) :)

DayToDayGlobalShit · 22/04/2016 16:54

Grin forevercrap Priceless!

smiinky · 22/04/2016 16:55

Emma all our research is based on facts and truth, not manipulation and magic unicorn wishes. We're not jealous of anyones 'success', because we think it's a swindle. I work for myself for around 15 years now and my day rate is more than the average FL managers monthly pay. Not a boast, just an idea of what a shit deal their amazing opportunity really is. A checkout girl would only have to work just 6 to 8 days a month for the same money as a fulltime 'laptop lifestyle' FL manager.
I just despair at the fraud, because it is a fraud. We note so many examples of law breaking and we want it stopped. I am in a Jamberry group. I see first hand the lies, as the first way of 'recruits' were told that there is a minimum spend per year, thats a lot of expensive sticky backed plastic and not really any market for it. I am now witnessing first hand newbies being added to the group and when they ask they are told 'no minumum spend'. There are already 2000 customers - I mean Jamsisters - in the UK, so if you ask me, its saturated before its even begun. No customers, therefore recruit, recruit, victim blame people for not having any customers, (even though a basic grasp of maths and population stats and a bit of simple market research would tell you there are no customers for it. tell them to read Rhonda fucking Byrne and make them feel like shit. Bullying people for something that isn't the reason why the scam doesn't 'work' It really sucks. It's depressing, horrible and I want it stopped. I hate seeing women exploited and I hate the way these scams pitch women against each other in such a way. I want it exposed and out there so people can make their own minds up.
