Scary how many people on that chat about moving mention that they are thinking of/about to sell.

No doubt they're selling their secure family home/roof over their head for what? To rent a pie in the sky dream home until the money runs out and then be left with nothing.

Patzy85 · 09/03/2016 16:54

Acatcalledjohn - that couldn't be more perfect! Grin

I notice that a lot of people are confused as they thought she was buying/had bought the castle.

Funny how she had never made that clear until now.

timelessvie.wordpress.com/2016/03/08/be-in-a-hurry-get-off-the-phone-how-to-manipulate-people-forever-living-stylee/ updated, think youll enjoy the new screenshot. fucking liars.

PausingFlatly · 09/03/2016 17:04

De-lurking to suggest "MacGuffin", the name for a meaningless plot device in films.

Don't think that's bland enough, though.

According to the same Wikipedia article, though, "weenie" has been used similarly.

ambler21 · 09/03/2016 17:06

NameChangeEr that is a very good find.
As if the Wonderful Worcestershire Woman awards weren't already a huge joke, that really does take the biscuit.
Isn't CS actually in NHs team/line. So essentially her own boss is on the judging panel judging if she's a good business woman...

Any news on the other judges? Barnbot? Bob Parker? Sexy Rexie? I know it's just a little clique who seem to have set up a self congratulatory award ceremony but it pisses me off that there appear to be some decent business women involved. I wonder if any of the worcestern newspapers would be interested in this hilariously obvious conflict of interest........

ambler21 · 09/03/2016 17:12

And what's with the 'public voting has now ended and the judges are deciding on the final 5 in each category'......errrrrrr so what was the point in voting ahhhhahhahahahaaa

PausingFlatly · 09/03/2016 17:14

I think Flhahaha is onto something at 12:12:40. I just want to repeat it (with a correction but argument still valid):

Thinking about all these numbers that keep appearing, is there an authorised FL advert that says 'earn £200 - £2000 per month' or whatever? If not, is there an express ban against using one? Because I presume that the burden of proof for an advert has to be with the advertiser - I mean you can't just make up numbers, right?

So the accounts show that in 2014 payments to distributors were around £28 million. There were around 36,000 distributors in 2014.

So if each distributor earned the 'mimimum' £200 per month, then the company would have needed to pay out £86m [Pausing: should say £72m], and no one would get over £200 per month.

peacypops · 09/03/2016 17:18

Those awards are farcical by the sound of things. Some obviously talented, hardworking and genuine business women in there (who have probably worked really hard to achieve something) and then you have a Bot finalist and now Bot Judge. It makes a mockery of what it actually means to be a true business woman.

PausingFlatly · 09/03/2016 17:20

Ah, no, actually you were doing an annual figure. Ignore my correction.

darceybussell · 09/03/2016 17:30

Could someone tell me where the figure of 36,000 distributors in '14 and 61,000 in '15 comes from? I had thought it was more than that but they are very secretive about that number

PausingFlatly · 09/03/2016 17:41

Can't just now find the source of the 2014 FL payments to distributors. But if payments really were £28 million for the YEAR, then the claim of expected earnings of £200 upwards per month cannot be true.

It doesn't matter how complicated the cc structure is, or how much divide and rule and blaming of individual bots goes on, the bottom line is, if this annual figure is true, FL doesn't expect to shell out anything close to £200 per month to each distributor (the average is actually £64 per distributor per month, even if the high-earners are included).

The ASA would definitely be interested.

Googling "OTE" [On Target Earnings] and "misleading" brings up cases upheld against all sorts of companies for advertising an OTE amount but not having evidence to support it.

Eg
ASA Ruling on Encore Interactive Ltd
ASA Ruling on IJP Ltd

lastuseraccount123 · 09/03/2016 17:42

we suspected the awards were rigged but it's nice to have confirmation.

i mean, if it's about women in 'business', shouldn't they have, i dunno, an actual business? not just a scambalamba?

Melaw21 · 09/03/2016 17:43

Apparently they are on twitter! Wonderful worcestershire women awards....

Last. You need to have your images 300 dpi for print purposes.

Twunk · 09/03/2016 18:04

CS. We actually have at least 3 men on our "team" of haterz. But yeah let's say it's all "bitter and nasty women"

Our motive is purely to protect women (and men!) from this nasty business. We are nice Smile

Oh dear, after my comment on his youtube video, he has disabled comments! was it something I said? Wink.

Well, there are so many tells that make it clear that his story is, ahem, based on a fairy story not real honest-to-goodness life. Watch it again, look out for the tells, eyes, hand movements, scratching nose, face etc. It is all laid bare.

BlahBlahfuckingBlah · 09/03/2016 18:20

Really sad when the bots have to pencil in 'family time'...so with FL you can do your work around your family? Don't think so!
