eye
I don't hold much hope out, in the 10 years I had a j.o.b. (before I started my own business), I had two C.E.O.s who broke the law. For one it was serious fraud, his relative worked for a supplier and would sell him 'stock' that didn't exist at a vastly over inflated price, they would then pocket the money, the other got involved in an insider dealing fraud.
The insider dealer got a slapped wrist, (has there ever been a conviction for this? I don't think so, Private Eye often laments about it). It took them almost 20 years to find out and convict the other one (and his relative).
Everyone in the co. knew he was a scamming git, from the juniors up to the managers, but he managed to spin out his scheming and swindling (in more than one business) for nearly two decades and he caused one huge company to completely collapse with huge job losses.
So if they fail in normal businesses, what hope in mlm, which, for me is very hidden.

Going slightly off track (although related to who makes the money), back to the previously discussed veterinary side...

The man on the advisory board of FLP in the UK who advises on (you could say endorses) veterinary products for FLP also has a farm in Cheddar that produces mineral water filtered through certified organic land.
See: www.cheddarwater.com/content/documents/NFU%20Cheddar%20Water%20editoral.pdf

The mineral water sold by FLP is: "sourced deep within the caves of the Mendip Hills.... filtered naturally through certified organic land."

So does the veterinary adviser sell his mineral water through FLP?

Anyway, as you were...

smiinky

I suspect that that very opportunity might turn out to be an Achilles' heel given their massive failure churn rate, the broad way they recruit and the importance to them of reputation.

Impact on their reputation and I don't see how they can survive long - in the UK at least. (Focus may shift to 'less developed markets' in the short to medium term. )

Once the mere mention of their name brings laughter.............?

Mimsy Have you seen the Timeless Vie video about the cost of the FL products and how the FBO is the customer?
As the vet features in it. The same day this was posted, he removed lots of his trainings from YouTube.

eyes I wonder if the Trump University is anything like the Conde Naste fashion school?

It was obviously set up to extract money from Londons wealthy and offers no real qualifications, £20k for a year course with an unrecognised made up qualification at the end.
Total waste of money.

acatcalledjohn · 09/03/2016 15:01

Trump university was covered in an article in the ST on Sunday. Have kept that section at home so will check on it when home from my J.O.B.

MimsyPimsy · 09/03/2016 15:05

smiinky No I haven't. Interesting - will take a look when I have a minute. Can't imagine why he might want to delete anything!

Mootpointer · 09/03/2016 15:07

mimsy kanga. Water vet man does sell his water to FLP at a massive markup and there was a vid out there with him saying just that Buying direct from his website is cheaper but no CCs.
Not so strangely that vid's vamoosed!!
When we find these vid gems, either rip them yourself or ask others to do it in your post. Check out FLP Forever Living on You tube, there's some crackers on there.
Thoroughly enjoying these threads.
eyes great work with the Police.
The post ( back along) about number of police officers & staff who have other businesses/ sources of revenue was illuminating and worrying at the same time.
Gold Star for you all

acatcalledjohn · 09/03/2016 15:08

It's not a cult, not an MLM either. Just defrauding people by attaching a 'respected' name to a worthless course. I think the article referred to someone whom had lost about US$36k to this scam.

I wouldn't piss on the guy if he was on fire, but that's another story entirely

acatcalledjohn · 09/03/2016 15:17

This was a comparison I made between Cheddar Water and FL Cheddar Water. The latter is approx. double the cost.

Mootpointer · 09/03/2016 15:19

Just to clarify , smiles at FLP...water vet man sells to FLP, I noted as you do that it's more expensive purchasing via FLP than buying from his website. He definitely didn't say so himself and I want to clarify that.
Is everyone clear Grin

Eyespying · 09/03/2016 15:20
acatcalledjohn · 09/03/2016 15:25

I see. The ST article read more as if it was property related, e.g., we will teach you how to become rich by dealing in property.

Though with it being Trump, I'm not surprised it links in to MLMs. More sad that this man is starting to become a serious contender in the US elections...

Not able to watch the vid whilst in the office, though will watch later.

MimsyPimsy · 09/03/2016 15:40

Good work then re the wampum water, Moot and acat.

Buy it in the normal market at 53p a bottle, or in the "restricted" market at £1.23. Hmmm, let me see! Who would pay double? Only someone who needs ccs, thereby proving Eyes right.

xenu1 · 09/03/2016 15:43

annie65 wrt Eagles Pro Academy - thx for the pic! Any idea what the cost to attendees is?
