Lazycoo I have pm'd you.Smile

NameChangeEr · 12/03/2016 17:33

I know of eyebrow bot purely for the description, like castle/barn/ski/doll/sauce bot.

The only negative I have been talking and raising is the issue of her stating she works for a great company, has company benefits like holidays and cars. Then enters a fucking competition as a "single person business" alongside genuine single business people like the chocolatier, or people working out their garden shed. And then to top it off, gets another bot, sauce bot to judge the competition. Which has already been raised from previous years to be very MLM heavy and pro MLM propaganda.

Castle bot. Listening to those videos, I feel sorry for her now, she missed out of her child's first 2 years, where she sees him for a few hours a week on a Wednesday. Whilst pretending to Facebook world she spends the entire day with him, #familytimehunz. But then on 2 police wages, and living rent free they would have been loaded by average standards to start with, and should have been able to save a huge deposit I'm a few years. And the car loan thing, surely all bots have their white 4x4s on a car loan? As that what the car scheme reward is for...long term car hire/payment plan. Doh!

Why. Would anyone go into this thinking my kids might see me for a few hours a week and that's good? Me and DH always said we would rather live a very modest life and see our children, than never see them for a showy house. If she sits back her business and income will slowly then very quickly dwindle to nothing, there is no residual/retirement income.

Waves at every bot reading this and also at the Worcestershire wonderful woman's event. Who if anyone googles will get lots of references to these threads so they don't go down the rabbit hole.
Peace.

NameChangeEr · 12/03/2016 17:35

Yes rayofhope that photo about the pedicure was cringe worthy.

ComingtoKent · 12/03/2016 17:42

Yes I'm based in Kent so if someone could pm me the überbots I should look out for, that'd be great.

Bananasmel · 12/03/2016 17:43

This was also the woman who took advantage of the N Power thing to try and recruit people who could ill afford the £200 set up....which is why I called her a vulture. If she is offended so be it.

lastuseraccount123 · 12/03/2016 17:43

We should stop calling her eyebrows bot, it's too personal.

How about InspirationBot? Grin

lastuseraccount123 · 12/03/2016 17:45

all this PMing and sharing names of people - is this a good idea? could it be construed as harrassment?

I thought we were going after MLMs as a whole not just a few people in one of them.

NameChangeEr · 12/03/2016 17:47

Agree last even though I haven't seem it used in a bullying way, if that's how she feels then that's it.
I disagree with the bots always having to spend 2 hours doing hair and makeup and 5 am to do gym pictures at 7am, or training vimeos. That's no life.
I have scars, I'm not sharing my story. I could spend hours to have flawless skin, but my DH prefers me as is.

Just like all the people going through chemo, who draw their eyebrows on, or get them tattooed, they choose how they want them to look.

Ideas....
Gym bot/shake bot/trainer bot (they are her favourite shoes!)

lastuseraccount123 · 12/03/2016 18:12

I know. but if we use personal appearance as the basis for a nickname it plays into their hands - that's our fault. It's a good lesson for all of us.

Wonderfulworcestershirelady · 12/03/2016 18:19

Rather than being derogatory about the public FB posts we can still use them as examples of the way MLM workers are trained and encouraged to recruit using various ( marketing ) methods. We don't need to criticise the individual merely point out how the post may mislead the vulnerable and gullible.

chuckingstones · 12/03/2016 18:21

The thing is, aren't we being humiliated for having a J.O.B.?
Aren't there constant messages out there about how we don't spend enough time with our children?
Aren't we being told that the only reason we're not "achieving in life" is because we don't try hard enough?
Aren't we told to give up on those "negative haterz" in our lives who are dragging us down? Whomever that may be?

Whilst I have sympathy for what she went through, it cannot be used as an excuse to then say "you cannot criticise me or my ways anymore". This is my major issue, she may not be physically or verbally abusing people, but most of these bots psychologically abuse the people around them. If you're not "down with it" then there's something wrong with you. Why don't you want to make more money? Why don't you want to spend time with your children?

Then, as we've seen with a certain bot, things can crumble pretty quickly. Those people around you who previously filled you with positivity are suddenly blocking you, telling you what they really think of you for trying to stop, trying to leave. I know these bots will never truly realise what they have been like until they do get out (just look at some of the amazing people on here and TV who have come out with their stories of how they were treated), but I really wish they could see both sides of the argument rather than being utterly polarised.

lastuseraccount123 · 12/03/2016 18:25

It's a fine line because we know, and have caught people in FL, outright lying. But to protect ourselves/what we are trying to do to me, it just makes sense to avoid any personal comments as much as possible. Like someone said way way back, it's about the behaviour (enforced by the MLM) not the person per se.

blah blah blah

DeliciousIrony · 12/03/2016 18:42

Could someone please PM me a list of the nickname codes? Thanks Smile

lastuseraccount123 · 12/03/2016 18:52

new post is up, this time our informer was fleeced by Ann Summers:

timelessvie.wordpress.com/2016/03/12/it-aint-no-party-for-ann-summers-recruits/

chuckingstones · 12/03/2016 19:02

Delicious - I would go back through the threads and look for yourself. I think people will be wary to send those sorts of things in PMs in case they are held accountable.

DollyTwat · 12/03/2016 19:20

I don't think there is a list of nicknames is there?
And if someone is feeling bullied by the use of a name used for her I don't think we should be sending that around, do you?

Tiredemma · 12/03/2016 20:07

listened to the webinair.

fuck me- bored to tears

worcestersauce29 · 12/03/2016 20:09

to be truthful (which obviously goes against the grain for any bots reading this)………we can't use their 'real' names because that's not right but now we can't use any 'nick name's ' either???

It doesn't feel right to me

thetemptationofchocolate · 12/03/2016 20:11

Patzy I loved that blog of Meredith Soleau.

"One pyramid short of being an Egyptian" is my new favourite phrase :)

Eyespying · 12/03/2016 20:14

Seeing as all these 'MLM' shill Bots have been acting essentially the same deluded role of ordinary humans: turned super humans, and we are not allowed to use their given names on these threads, how else is one supposed to differentiate between them, except by nicknames?

Personally, I'm only prepared to show 'MLM' shill Bots respect, if they stop reciting their group's BS and return to reality. Unfortunately, how to pose as an innocent victim, is just another page of the 'MLM' shill Bot's reality-inverting script.

Annie65 · 12/03/2016 20:39

Anyway, lets get back to why we are on here folks. I know this is a matter to be discussed but lets not play into their hands and get distracted, this reminds me of someone who came on here trying to play monkey games with us, if you know who I mean. Smile

smiinky · 12/03/2016 20:56

Yes, lets remember what we're here for. Now when I first got prospected I had no idea what an mlm prospecting script was, but now, thanks to this 13 page discussion, I not only know, I've managed to educate my friends. Friend got prospected today. It was an indirect script, you know the one where you ask for 'help' with something, can we pencil in a time to chat? She recognised it for what it was right away. Was it Cubic who said the main weakness of mlm is that the training and scripts and lingo is basically the same for every one? And this is why we call them bots isn't it? Not a personal attack, just a great term for the robotic way mlms make everyone follow the plan, behave the same way.
I'm so pleased that my social circle is wising up to this shit! Lets keep going!

throwingpebbles · 12/03/2016 21:05

Great post last I will digest it properly shortly, but my main thought is one of shock at how many thousands of women are sucked into these scams primarily because they need to earn but want /need to fit it around family life...... Employers need to sit up and notice this! Not everyone wants flexible jobs, not every job can be flexible, but people could be much more creative in how they employ people.

I have heard a very similar story to the Ann Summers one about body shop.

Would welcome eyes thoughts on whether these sit in the same box as the clearly "cultic" MLMs as forever etc. Either way they don't sound like a nice existence for people

cozietoesie · 12/03/2016 21:06

I'm already more than half convinced that we should - nearly all of us - have a ready printed couple of sheets, with Timeless Vie and other relevant links printed up etc, sitting in a kitchen drawer and ready to hand out to a visitor who suddenly starts coming on strong.

It must be fiendishly difficult for people who are suddenly being nobbled over a cup of coffee by a shining faced eg relative or friend, even when they recognise what's happening. To be able to interrupt the flow and say something along the lines of 'I better just check the XXXX/baby/whatever but there's something really interesting you can look at in the meantime....' It might just help some people.

Smile
cozietoesie · 12/03/2016 21:11

They might just be in a 'failing' business, throwing, be casting around for ideas, see the apparent success of the big MLMs and decide to try that tack. (I'm sure there would be plenty of advisors to assist them and it wouldn't take much refocusing to do it.)

I don't know is the answer - but if they've changed their operation so that the effect is the same......?
