It really does appear that we are having an impact now and have got their attention.

Some of eyebrow bots minion bots have removed posts which were advertising (specifically aimed at) new mums to join them for tea/ cake and a chat about their amazing work from home opportunity that would fit around the babies, only a few hours a week yada yada yada!(oh and bring the kids with them as it is so kid friendly, not!) Workingwithchimps, this thread is for discussing MLMs and raising awareness about them. If you want to discuss other things of importance you can start your own thread. I believe there is already one on the refugees. We are capable of being aware of/ concerned about many issues but this little corner of Mumsnet is for MLM discussion.

Can I ask you what you joined your MLM for? Was it for a bit of extra money or did you hate your job/situation you were in?

And what research did you do on it before joining? The type of research I have seen other people describe involves looking at the company's website and having a look at some distributors' FB pages. Do any other bots/ex bots want to answer that one too? Did you find much negativity about it or were you prewarned to ignore it? Maybe there wasn't any negative info Easily available at the time?
