That fraud act! Why didn't I think to look at that. All FL distributors could be in trouble on both counts - misrepresenting success/medical claims

And those at higher levels like our favourite visitor bots should probably be thinking very seriously about what claims they are making so publicly (and indeed in private)

MyBoysHaveDogsNames · 01/03/2016 11:58

Exactly sminky. Glad I was reading this thread. Wouldn't have gone anyway (breakfast meeting! Can't cope before 10am), but would have appeared more credible.

Unfair on those companies who are not well connected and think this is the answer. Found this bit -

Givers Gain

Each BNI group allows only one business from any given trade or profession, so that those members can lock out their competition and use their BNI membership to full advantage. BNI members meet every week but instead of selling their services to one another, they educate and train one another to become the most effective sales and marketing team imaginable. Everyone is motivated to help one another because they know that their fellow members are doing the same for them. BNI call this: Givers Gain® and it works because it means simply this:

“If I give you business you’ll want to give me business.”

So you don't network normally and give each other business but spend your time on marketing each other's business to all and sundry?! Who has time for that?

Seem to be mostly fat men in shiny suits and v skinny women. Rules me out then! Smile

If I had lost money inforever I might be taking legal advice about this legislation and how I could use it as well

Eyespying · 01/03/2016 12:02

I'm very pleased to have helped you, Toobusytowee.

Notice how workingwithchimps hasn't responded in her usual fashion by systematically dismissing the fraud Act is mindless crap, but previously she did imply that it was (albeit indirectly).

workingwithchimps · 01/03/2016 12:06

ambler21 - you are right - I have read back and truly understand the "tone" - you make it all too obvious what this is all about....

workingwithchimps · 01/03/2016 12:08

Eyespying - are you accusing me of fraud by any chance? - bold statement to make, considering...

workingwithchimps · 01/03/2016 12:12

Throwing- I am very sorry that you have lost money... MLM is not for everyone

sminkypink · 01/03/2016 12:12

lol well seeing that all mlms can't be anything but fraud I reckon so!

sminkypink · 01/03/2016 12:13

mlm is not for everyone (that old chestnut), carry on, carry on...which bit of THE SCRIPT will you treat us to, next?

throwingpebbles · 01/03/2016 12:13

That was. "Hypothetical" statement chimps dear

throwingpebbles · 01/03/2016 12:14

(I have one of those dreaded j.o.b. s and guess what, I get a good salary, pension on top, mat pay, meritocratic career structure, my training is paid for, AND I am able to work entirely flexibly around my family Smile )

Aloedofcrap · 01/03/2016 12:19

The statement MLM isn't for everyone is frequently trotted out to people who have supposedly failed after they have handed over their £200 to get set up.

If the high up bots were really ethical business women then they would screen everyone before they signed up and only work with people they thought could make it instead of trying to entice all and sundry to hand over their cash and then dumping them once they are not profitable enough for them.

As an employer I interview to find the best candidate, I do not employ everyone who applies (plus I pay them instead of them paying me)

ambler21 · 01/03/2016 12:19

....
Any news on the answer to question 1 from the last thread chimp ?
You've had a while now to ask head office. For those who missed it question 1 was

  • How many people have signed a contract to join your particular scheme since it's inception?
Any company with even the most basic book keeping will have these figures.
Eyespying · 01/03/2016 12:20

'Eyespying - are you accusing me of fraud by any chance? - bold statement to make, considering...'

Not only am I accusing this shill Bot of committing fraud, I'm explaining my reasoning for making this accusation.

I have stated quite clearly in unambiguous terms, that due to her inability to answer the most basic questions concerned the true, overall loss/churn rate of the so-called 'FLP MLM income opportunity,' workingwithchimps obviously has no idea what she has really been involved in, and that, consequently, she is both the victim and perpetrator of a criminal deception, as defined by sections 2, 3 & 4 of the Fraud Act, 2006.

Melaw21 · 01/03/2016 12:21

Oh yawn... chumps has returned, cue loads of offensive, accusatory, evasive, vague, cryptic and downright threatening posts!

Melaw21 · 01/03/2016 12:27

chumps are you listening today? Feel like answering any actual proper grown up questions? Oh... Ok, guess not then...

workingwithchimps · 01/03/2016 12:27

Oh Hi Melaw21 - missed your cryptic wit... stop yawning, you should be glad to hear from me again! - my digger broke btw, so if you can point me in the right direction, I would be most grateful!

Eyespying · 01/03/2016 12:29

It strikes me that anyone who has been enthusiastically recruiting members of the public into a so-called 'income oportunity' which secretly has had an overall loss/churn rate of effectively 100%, but who genuinely has not been aware of this key-information, is both the victim and perpetrator of a fraud.

That said, workingwithchimps has now been made aware of this key-information in front of numerous witnesses, and she will, therefore, not be able to plead ignorance if she continues to withhold this key-information in order to recruit ill-informed members of the public into 'FLP' with the intention of making money herself.

workingwithchimps · 01/03/2016 12:30

Ambler21 - I still have no answer for you - suggest you ask the head offices concerned for that info - they would probably be best placed to give you the information you seek so righteously.
