I don't get it!

So last night I listened to a couple of training vids - the ones that tell you to use ALL the products yourself and recruit 2 people per month.

I've never rolled my eyes so much!

Anyways, one was about who and how (basically everyone, and shamelessly) to prospect people with a guest speaker. The man speaking said that you should make people feel really special and compliment them, before going on to laugh about how it isn't really true.

FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE.

Full of scripts to follow. Advice to copy and paste, but always put something personal in to begin with - such as how cute their kids are

How to follow up. How to persuade. How to push buttons. How to play on your closest as if they owe you this.

Also, never get disheartened by a no. It's just a not right now. Get addicted to the activity (the activity being recruitment). Target people again, just next time tell them that there's a new incentive - such as an amazing NEW way to make to make £2000 per month in 5 months. There isn't one, obviously, but they don't know that and "who doesn't want £2000 a month".

I mentioned on one of the previous threads about my friend had a cleaner with a small cleaning business. She accidentally broke a gift I'd given my friend so she sent me a message of Facebook to arrange a replacement. Anyways I kept her on Facebook & aloe & behold she has now become a FBO & closed her cleaning business.
Anyways today she has messaged me asking if I'm well & if she can send me a short video that I, or someone I know might be interested in.

I spoke to her once maybe 2 years ago to arrange replacing the gift that she accidentally smashed & now she's acting as if we've been buddies for ages. Should I see the video?

Cozie - I think it really highlights the fact that it isn't about helping anyone but yourself, and your upline.

It's all so smarmy and the way they talk about people (as in people you know) as targets makes my skin crawl.

Also, if you're targeting someone, sound busy so you can't provide them with too much information yet. Keep them hanging.

If it's in a restaurant for example and you're targeting a waitress, make sure it's at the end of the meal as you're leaving so they can't ask many questions.

Where possible get people to attend a business presentation, it's much easier to draw them in once they're surrounded by your team.

Melaw - I'll do it now. Found them during bot snooping yesterday after watching the infamous ski bot pulling in to her (pretend) mansion vid as a related link.

Eyes - exactly what I was thinking. No one has ever done this apparently and yet every single training session/meeting/webinar is about this practice. This is what they're told to do!
