FLP are audited by Deloitte in the UK. Wonder how Deloitte would feel to be associated with this. Not great publicity.

These MN threads have quite literally become the strongest threads guiding anyone (retaining a clear enough mind to grab them) safely out of the 'MLM' labyrinth.

I know I keep saying this, but to rayofofhope and to all the other MN members who have been able to bite the bullet and admit openly that they were deceived into entering the thought-stopping 'MLM' labyrinth:

Respect!

cozietoesie · 03/02/2016 08:54

Yes. Huge respect.

Sometimes it's 'Who You Know', Darcey. Who can tell but that some firms have 'connections' with other firms which can influence services provided.

MrsSimonNeil · 03/02/2016 08:56

Thanks for explaining penny and ray I wondered how she'd managed to fill the room. Even after following these threads for such a long time I still get sucked into believing the pictures Blush

darceybussell Talking of 'MLM accountants.' One the most revealing episodes in the history of the ongoing 'MLM' racketeering phenomenon, occured in Canada with the 'Amway' mob back in the 1980s.

www.nytimes.com/1983/11/11/business/amway-admits-fraud.html

www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/Amway/AUS/canada.htm

It was 'Amway's' own external accountants/tax auditors who blew the whistle on the largest tax fraud in Candadian history.

Even though the De Vos and Van Andel crime families were caught red handed stealing countless C$ millions, their base racket not only managed to survive, but the episode was spun in the cult's '100% positive' fairy story as though the bosses were honest heros (who paid up to protect their distributors' businesses).

Today the 'Amway' mob even sponsors the Canadian soccer league (in a contract negotiated with FIFA during the years of massive Blatter-ignored corruption).

Although I don't recognise these bots (those from the north east might) this video is comedy gold.

That music is so inspiring. The people taking notes. The water bottles ( probably because everyone's doing the C9 so can't enjoy themselves).

But then from 0.55 (especially the 1.00 mark) it gets better! Must watch. Grin

This is what dream weaving #bossbabes looks like.

please someone grab this vid before it disappears

throwingpebbles · 03/02/2016 09:20

Yes totally agree with eyes huge respect

Why do we reckon the lovely invite bringing children along to the FL brainwashing party has been removed from FB???

Eyespying · 03/02/2016 09:34

throwingpebbles I was recently told that FLbots in India have been taught to feed babies with alose vera. Not just to give them it as a medicine in small doses, but literally to feed them with it (albeit not all the time). I was wondering if there are any medically quallified MN members who might give their opinion of this (before the video vanishes).

The clip was taken from FLP's own Youtube channel.

cozietoesie · 03/02/2016 09:34

I can understand the requirement for these get-togethers, actually. Who knows but that most of these people might be having very serious doubts in the wee small hours - so you need to haul them away from their families for a little while and 'top-up' their justification levels by exposure to lots of grinning fellow sellers. (And if you can get some money out of them in the process, so much the better!)

Eyespying · 03/02/2016 09:36

It seems that Bots being taught to feed babies with aloe vera , is quite common.

Patzy85 · 03/02/2016 09:48

Cozie - it reminds me of one of the strange healers in a overly culty American church, the ones where they shout in a microphone about how great they are and everyone cheers and claps.

MyVisionsComeFromSoup · 03/02/2016 09:51

woman at 1:09 bottom left hand corner looks really glum, she's obviously not destined for greater things Sad

MyVisionsComeFromSoup · 03/02/2016 09:51

AndYourBirdCanSing · 03/02/2016 09:53

NorbertDentressangle · 03/02/2016 09:55

cozietoesie The instigators of the 'Amway' racket were members of the 'Dutch Reform Church.' There are various other Protestant 'Prosperity Gospel' Churches/sects which have taught the ritual practise of visualisation, aka the 'Name it and Claim it Gospel.'

(Frighteningly, 'visualisation' was a technique taught to members of the SS).

rationalwiki.org/wiki/Name_it_and_claim_it

All the big 'MLM Amway' copy-cat cultic rackets hold regular meetings for their Bot proselytizers. These follow essentially the same ritualised recognition of recruitment success format. The smaller meetings are the same as devout traditional believers going to church each Sunday to hear essentially the same message of salvation. In 'MLM' cults, 'Visualising Your Dreams and Goals,' corresponds to 'name it and claim it' praying. The mass 'name it and claim it' meetings are held on approximately the same dates each year, and they correspond to traditional religious festivals, like Xmas and Easter.

The most gung ho 'MLM' bots will Visualise his/her Dreams and Goals at various set times during the day, and they are taught to fix ritual 'name it and claim it'' images (cars, houses, holiday destinations, etc.) in strategic places in the homes (particularly on their bathroom mirrors and on their fridges).

Notice how the so-called 'Law of Attraction' is essentially the same 'Prosperity Gospel/Name it and Claim it' bullshit, but rewritten in a non-religious vocabulary.

Few people would fall for this in the UK, if it was being peddled in its original 'religious' format. However, the higher a Bot climbs in one of these 'commercial' cults, the more directly 'religious' the message becomes.

Eyespying · 03/02/2016 10:21

Patzy85

If you want to know what is really going on at these meetings, have a look at this.

acatcalledjohn · 03/02/2016 10:25

Just thought I'd also express thanks to the various ex-bots whom have spoken out. You may be protected by a MN nickname, but it still takes guts to admit that you've been had, and that is only to be admired.

I'm not a regular poster on here but I try to kepp up when I can. My bot has gone a bit quiet, it used to be all 'check out the range rover I'm going to be driving soon' and 'ooh look where I've been today' with a picture of an exclusive housing estate. All very amusing but today I've seen that she's hanging around on a forum thread where working mums are debating the whole WOHM v SAHM thing and appraching strangers who say they are not happy but have to get on with it. It makes me so angry that women like this (like me) are being targeted, it must be a 'business strategy' to try and convince these women to leave their jobs and sign up to this nonsense.

charcharchar · 03/02/2016 10:50

Has the private Facebook group disappeared? Or have I been deleted from it? I'm not a bot, I promise!

penny1ane · 03/02/2016 10:54

Hahaha patzy85, that video is so funny. The dancing!!!!!

Reminded me of this.....

FLhahaha · 03/02/2016 11:00

Those baby videos make me feel quite ill. New depths.

Someone was asking about income tax etc on the bonuses. Well I have been reading the Forever Living Handbook (I am on maternity leave at the minute) and have found a few interesting things.

Only people can be distributors, not companies. So all the companies set up by the bots are for something different. This means, sadly, that Companies House info will not tell us about the 'wealth' generated from FL.

The companies may have been set up for their 'sideline' businesses.

It means that they personally are liable to the income tax (as I said earlier, strange that no bot mentioned it in January!).

They also need to register for VAT if applicable. It is applicable if their retail sales and bonus income exceed £82,000 in a 12 month period. This is made very clear in the handbook.

So heads up, bots. I have the bonus details for May 2015. I am going to assume that each bot made at least their bonus income in retail sales that year. And I am sending the bonus details, plus the handbook, highlighted, to HMRC today. If you exceeded the threshold in May 2015 then you should have registered in June 2015.

Don't worry though. I am sure you are all registered, because I am sure you all have accountants. The reason I am sure? Because just as you prey on vulnerable women, dodgy accountants will prey on you!
