DreamingOfTheBeach

At the risk of enraging you even more.

Rudechoob · 06/02/2016 16:28

Who's this Jan Ruhe all the bots seem ri worship?

rayofhope · 06/02/2016 16:45

eye that's a shocking amount of FL products that lady takes. At least by taking all those she's nearly got her 1cc through her ID each month

DreamingOfTheBeach · 06/02/2016 16:54

Thanks eye spy, I have commented on her video.

DayToDayShit · 06/02/2016 17:08

Has anyone worked out how much these distributors have to buy each month and then how much they actually bring in afterwards. Surely the income is worse than the outcome in almost all the scenarios. By the time they have bought packs, books, training cd's, paid for tickets to whatever brainwashing events, paid petrol or travel costs, they must be getting bloody loans just to stay afloat. No wonder the desperate facebook posts trying to recruit others.

Eyespying · 06/02/2016 17:08

rayofhope The level of control the 'FLP' mob hold over this poor women is shocking. They are sucking her dry with the snake-oil products, never mind the pyramid or the 'mindset' fraud.

BSintolerant · 06/02/2016 17:09

My hairdresser, who has run her own business for nearly 30 years, had a JP bot in her salon trying to persuade her to buy his products. She politely listened to him and when she declined, he had the nerve to ask her, "Is this a proper business or are you just playing at it?"

She told him where to go. He went!

DayToDayShit · 06/02/2016 17:11

great comment to the video!

darceybussell · 06/02/2016 17:16

Daytoday - almost all will be making a loss -there has been a lot of research into it including collecting information from tax return preparers, and the maths also demonstrates this.

Eyespying · 06/02/2016 17:17

DreamingOfTheBeach I think the anlalysis you have put forward in the Youtube comment is admirable and probably very close to the truth, but I doubt whether this vulnerable woman has the clarity of mind to accept it.

You look at evidence like this, and you've got to ask how: on Earth has this evil American bullshit been allowed to be peddled quite openly in the UK, and for all this time?

DollyTwat · 06/02/2016 17:20

Maybe we should be reporting all the things we find to Forever Living
Or directly to the ASA?

stopfaffing · 06/02/2016 17:22

dreaming I have replied to your comment Grin.

DollyTwat · 06/02/2016 17:23

I think I worked out that to earn £30k a year you'd have to sell £112k worth of aloe products
Then you'd have to start taking off your expenses, travel, hotels, phone bill, etc

So probably close to £120K worth of stuff
You'd need a shop, except you're not allowed to do that

DayToDayShit · 06/02/2016 17:25

Brilliant. Would there be a way to find the videos on youtube and then put links to this thread or will that not work?

DreamingOfTheBeach · 06/02/2016 17:26

When My family member was first diagnosed she went into full denial mode.
Which was quickly followed by many, many alternative cures.
I distinctly remember those yellow bottles of crap in her kitchen cupboards along with other alternate remedies.
None of it made any difference, and she did come to terms with that in the end. But being faced with an incurable and uncertain illness is terrifying.
Any glimpse of hope is pounced apon, and these awful companies know this.

DayToDayShit · 06/02/2016 17:27

So 120k would be the figure that FL would say you bring in. That is where they get the fools on board I suppose. Not mentioning what would be the realistic take home figure after all the expenses are taken into account.

ApplySomePressure · 06/02/2016 17:28

Lurking on these MLM threads since the start, just been invited to join Momentum- some weight loss drop MLM scam I think? Hasn't "hit" yet but it's just had a launch in Essex...

DreamingOfTheBeach · 06/02/2016 17:28

Great comments stopfaffing thanks for the backup

BSintolerant · 06/02/2016 17:37

Dolly I'd be inclined to report them to the all the regulators, and copy in FL for good measure.

Would it be worth getting a petition going for a debate in parliament about these dishonest mlm schemes?

Ribbet8890 · 06/02/2016 17:38

I ended up commenting on that MS vid.... It made me so angry xx

Motorheadmum · 06/02/2016 17:52

One of my friends who just had to give up her full time job due to ms looks like she has been suckered into the FL scheme. She's about to do the C9 this week. When she first posted she was starting a business I had an awful feeling it was FL.

Just hope that she isn't doing it cos of some wild claims

Eyespying · 06/02/2016 17:54

BSintolerant It might also be worth writing to Gerry Sutcliffe MP to ask him why, when he was Minister for Consumer Affairs (in the Blair Government) and he was approached on my behalf by my family's MP (Alice Mahon, Halifax) about 'Amway' and 'MLM,' did he send her letter in which he dismissed all my serious detailed concerns, by falsely describing me as 'paranoid.'

DayToDayShit · 06/02/2016 17:59

Lummers also has a fb page spouting the same shit.
