So for HL most people earn $299 a year

lastuseraccount123 · 05/02/2016 23:38

eyes not to mention millions of pounds being funneled to companies owned by conservative Mormons who then use the money to fund anti-gay compaigns.

I mean, HELLO. And where is the Mormon church in all this? I just wonder.

Isn't empale incorrect? Shouldn't it be impale? Or am I really really thick Grin

Bovnydazzlers · 06/02/2016 00:14

Similar average income chart for arbonne. 90% of bots earn no commission (exc retail sales).
You have to be the top level (0.1%) to earn a relatively (circa £80k) good salary, this is before any expenses.
Hardly life changing stuff.

Similar average incomes for Stella and dot.

Can anyone find more? Maybe it may make a good TV pay to pull these together to show Indisputably MLM opportunity is a load of crap.

I also think it is one thing we should be campaigning uk government to insist on - Open disclosure by the company of these figures each year for all MLMs for UK distributors.

RainOhJoyus · 06/02/2016 00:40

So funny that the private plane post was deleted and a new post made it obvious.

Also te post about the sponsored boys was cringeworthy, it really was. Am impressed with the power of mumsnet that these posts go up and down so quickly.

Also the one person asking "why are you selling your castle Hun?" On the Facebook page is brilliant!!

Sean1984 · 06/02/2016 01:03

That post about plane wasnt deleted, one is her personal page the other is her "business" page, still there on her "business" page

Rudechoob · 06/02/2016 01:56

Ugh look how many people bum EC. All the coffee and lunches selfies. Constant selfies trying to fricking prove something.

AbolishFlobots · 06/02/2016 07:32

I'm really pissed off by my flobots' charitable post. It's been shared over 40 times. She's lovely. A really nice person. Has upped her game last month with the business and I've seen more and more posts linking family / aloe / work from home things together.

In the comments of this one, she was donating £4.20 so far...

She's doing clean9 and holding a bottle of the shake in her hand

bettyberry · 06/02/2016 07:36

Share my Advert and I'll give money to charity? ShockHmm

finallyregisteredtopost · 06/02/2016 07:49

My FL bot has gone very quiet since early Jan. I think she may be building up for a big re-launch once she goes on maternity leave. I do wonder though whether all of this is part of it too though and they are having to be more covert. She's even more distanced from all her real friends now, sad to see. Anyway keep up the good work all. I really think all of this has the potential to put a stop to many people being sucked in. I can see it for what it is now but won't lie - when i first heard about these 'opportunities' and hadn't looked in to any of it, it was pretty tempting. And i like my job!

finallyregisteredtopost · 06/02/2016 07:53

I saw the Arbonne earnings figures online. Surprising they even publish them. Have never been able to find anything for FL but if anything that will be my first argument for any FL bots - why do you think they don't even publish that. Bad as these figs look they are so turnover not profit so even worse if you know more!

FleeBee · 06/02/2016 07:58

My friend held a yo unique make up party on Thursday night I genuinely couldn't attend. I know big shame! Today neighbour has been tagged in a post saying "amazing party at xx on Thursday can't wait for you all to get your make up you ordered you will love it. And xx received £20 to spend on yo unique products"
I know my neighbour invited loads of people is £20 reward good? Seems a bit stingy to me?!

AbolishFlobots · 06/02/2016 08:00

Share my Advert and I'll give money to charity?

I know betty shocking. There is a lot I could say about her but can't out myself. She defends FL to the core and genuinely believes it's an ethical company. This has just took things to a new level to me

penny1ane · 06/02/2016 08:02

Bit late but, one of the reasons for being secretive when prospecting someone is to delay them forming an opinion before you have done a 1-1 with them.
If they know it's forever living before you meet they can Google it and pretty much find out all they need. With these threads I'd imagine it would be more of a worry now.
I hated it so much. I felt it was just wasting people's time and mine. You had to try and think of smart ways to divert the conversation away from saying "forever living"
Once you got to meet them and you were sat down for a coffee, pulling that "freedom to choose" brochure out of the bag was so awkward.
Tada!!! This is what you've been waiting for. This was the amazing opportunity I kept top secret. You don't look excited??

I once went through the whole thing only for the woman to tell me she was allergic to aloe. Well, that's what she told me anyway :-)

Motorheadmum · 06/02/2016 08:17

That's right penny when I was scammed into Arbonne they weren't allowed to put on fb what they actually did, just working for myself. At that point you weren't allowed fb pages either stating you were an Arbonne consultant.. I believe this has been relaxed now though.

Paddybare · 06/02/2016 08:19

I've been wondering if it's because of operating in certain jurisdictions that herbalife/arbonne are forced to publish average earnings?

Have any of you found a menu for the content forever living post on their website I.e. www.foreverknowledge.info/fileadmin/2016/Business/Social_Media_Guides/SOCIAL_MEDIA_BEST_PRACTICE_single_pages.pdf I can't see how you find it, clutching at straws but I wonder if it an earnings table is there but just buried!

penny1ane · 06/02/2016 08:22

One of the things you have to do when meeting a prospect, is to create a conversation before going through the brochure that you can bring up during you're talk.

You have a casual conversation but drop in questions about family life, time, money, future plans etc.
When going through the brochure and on one of the subjects like money, you can then direct it to what they had said in the casual conversation.
It gets them thinking how it would be good for them, rather than you telling them.
When talking about the products you tell them what they are good for and say " I don't know if you know anyone with...."
This then gets them thinking about potential customers before they have signed up.

Eyespying · 06/02/2016 08:27

'MLM' racketeers have found ways of publishing real earnings figures which renders them completely incomprehensible to the public.

Ironically, one of the undertakings given to the UK High Court by 'Amway UK Ltd.' was that real income figures would be published every year.

This is the nonsensical hocus-pocus which then began to be brodcast by the 'Amway' Ministry of Truth.

file:///C:/Users/Utilisateur/Downloads/EDS2013.pdf

Elementary common-sense dictates that the key-information which reveals the truth behind so called 'MLM income opportunities, is always the same:

The exact number of persons overall who have signed up as 'distributor/business owners' since the so-called 'MLM income opportunity' was instigated.

The exact number of these transient 'MLM distributor/business owners' who have actually paid income tax on overall net-profits accruing from their so called 'MLM distributorship/businesses'.

Wheresthattomoibabber · 06/02/2016 08:30

Have been reading this with interest. I'm desperately worried about a friend who has bought into a marketing company and it seems to be a similar scam on a larger scale. She has paid £5000 to work for The Athena Network and is under huge pressure to sign people up at £200 each. She didn't have the money though and they thought she would be brilliant at it so luckily they gave her an advance...

Eyespying · 06/02/2016 08:31

This is quite a good brief-analysis of 'Amway UK Ltd.'s' incomprehensible annual income disclosures

amwayukblog.wordpress.com/

Eyespying · 06/02/2016 08:42

Wheresthattomoibabber

'Athena Network' has 'income opportunity' cultic racket written all over it.

All the familiar, thought-stopping jargon is present, but here is no plain language explanation of where the profits actually come from.

Behind all the Utopian 'Women's Networking' bullshit, what is being peddled here is the unlawful, self-perpetuating, non-rational ritual belief that never-ending recruitment + never-ending payments by the recruits = never-ending profits for the recruits.

finallyregisteredtopost · 06/02/2016 08:43

So maybe publishing 'income' data depends on whether the companies have individually been taken to court
