I have been reading with interest but this is the first time I have posted. I have a friend who sells Younique make up. She is a sensible sort so took me a while to realise it was an MLM. I have bought a couple of bits from her but stopped because I just don't like the makeup. To be fair, she has never tried to convince me to become a cinsultant. But... tonight she posted this photo on FB.

I am annoyed at the time to be honest!! I think it's a bit cheeky...

My bot went tonight she has hidden the numbers on her cheque with her fingers after going on about #success all day. I don't blame her now. Most of her cronies seem to have between £30-£50 so guessing she is around the same. Hardly worth the effort to get to Newport.

Bovnydazzlers · 05/02/2016 01:08

On the Castle bot's page... poor girl's been texted this photo. She says she is so excited to find out what the actual amount is for the Wales area incentive.... I fear from dolly's status above it's got less 0's than she is now expecting...

I actually think it is so cruel to trick her like that (taking her status as fact that she didn't know what the value was at this point). Loads of people have commented their well dones, she will now be driving home thinking of all the things she can do with what she is probably expecting to be a £5k cheque. How cruel.

DollyTwat · 05/02/2016 01:21

Was it this one? She's hidden her amount too

So basically the whole area got £5,000 between about 100 people. #changinglives #globalscale

Is this ECs area too?

LikeBigBotsAndICannotLie · 05/02/2016 03:26

youfromthefuture. It is indeed very cheeky but sadly since finding these threads and TV on facebook, I have seen some bots just have no shame when recruiting. Even though I have mostly Younique bots, the stuff about the FL bots is fascinating to see on here because some of them have really shocked me at just how low they will sink.

Bovnydazzlers · 05/02/2016 03:43

Ah patzy then maybe it was the lower down bot who was being disingenuous and just trying to deceive her Facebook potential recruits, and already knew it wasn't going to be higher than £50/£500 if she knew it was a £5000 share. Either way, £50/£70 is naf all and will barely cover their monthly spend getting to these whoop and dance events.

darceybussell · 05/02/2016 07:20

Barnbot appears to have removed all references to barns from her FB profiles. Wasn't she meant to be moving in around now? Wonder what happened to the barn! Btw I am totes jealous, I wish I got to pay my boss to go to work, this work paying me thing is so overrated.

Mootpointer · 05/02/2016 07:43

Just leaving this here for reference. Ariix product alert.

Like that moot might have to share the info with my ariix bot

Motorheadmum · 05/02/2016 07:53

This is appearing all over my fb...

Maybe FL or ariix is the way to go.... ;)

Ive worked out my Sil has earned £500 this month, thats not taking off expensives . I know she has been working her socks off doing launch parties etc. Not much is it? I earned that working 15 hours a week in a kitchen. She is still assistant supervisor after 10 months. This was a good month for her too, she sold 5 cleanse 9's.Hmm

cozietoesie · 05/02/2016 08:02

How much does this stuff actually cost? I'm having some difficulty finding that in the literature - in an upfront way at least.

Has anyone noticed all the fl bots business pages are down. Will have a look later after the School run.

cynicbuthappy · 05/02/2016 08:13

Annie65
Is that £500 net profit? Or £500 worth of stuff sold? Because, even if there was 20% profit on everything sold, to actually make £500 net income, she would have had to have sold £2500 worth of products. (If my maths is right!)

cozietoesie · 05/02/2016 08:16

I meant the slimming drops, Eye. Sorry if I didn't make that clear.

Their FAQs on them are fascinating. (More for what they don't say than for what they do - I don't think they could answer a straight question if paid to do it!)

Motorheadmum · 05/02/2016 08:33

annie mines is still up, I had to comment after the 'cancer' post wound me up so much

The full truth is even more tragicomic, because 'MLM' Bots get paid commissions on effectively-unsaleable wampum products which they have bought themselves each month, and on the monthly purchases of their recruits and of those of the recruits of their recruits, etc., ad infinitum.

Because the overwhelming majority of money flowing into any 'MLM' racket has actually comprised losing investment payments (based on the false expectation of future reward), but laundered as 'sales' (based on value and demand) victims have been buying infinite shares of their own finite money in a classic closed-market swindle or Ponzi scheme. The wampum products might as well not exist.

Lying at the heart of all 'MLM' cultic rackets is the self-perpetuating, non-rational, ritual belief that never-ending recruitment + never-ending payments by the recruits = never-ending profits for the recruits.
