All business sellers on ebay have to have their names and full addresses on their listings. Obviously those who are businesses will be properly registered with ebay and are monitored closely by HMRC. Private sellers don't have to include their details on listings. The revenue still takes an interest if a seller has multiple listings of the same item is claiming to be a private seller.

On the subject of items being fake on ebay, seen Younique sellers say this too, that beggars belief. In pretty much all cases of counterfeit beauty/cosmetics items, the items come from China. They target brands like Urban Decay who actually manufacture in China as customers believe it is genuine. Sellers who warn of fakes but claim products are animal cruelty free at the same time are contradicting themselves as products cannot leave China without being tested.

And it's worth noting that although they are businesses forever living is still the manufacturer and main distributor of the product so my thinking is they should be ( and probably are) still liable under the distance selling regs when it comes to personal usage. It's like being a memeber and getting a discount. Just because you get a discount doesn't mean you aren't entitled to the same protections when purchasing products.

just skimmed over their handbook, it doesn't seem to be, seems more like a proper franchise.

acatcalledjohn · 04/02/2016 22:02

Vertically Integrated

From Ribbet's link to the FLP structure explanation.

What a load of absolute bollocks these people spout.

and they say if you want to be a distributor you can expect to spend £250k in start up costs, looks like real world rather than fantasy world.

please note i a not suggesting they are using the phrase appropriately....

acatcalledjohn · 04/02/2016 22:15

Ribbet, though interestingly that term clearly clarifies that FLP still own your business, despite them selling the concept to you as 'your own business'.

Who'd have thought we'd find yet another oxymoron in the world of MLMs...

A vertically integrated inverted funnel of bots?

OP posts:
Ribbet8890 · 04/02/2016 22:23

where are all my Yonique bots?? I am on many facebook selling pages and they used to be continually swamped in eyelashes. Not seen any now in about a week...... (very ashamed to say that I do not have my own personal bot)

Ribbet8890 · 04/02/2016 22:31

Acatcalledjohn from further reading, I am starting to think they really don't know what the phrase means. From Wiki it seems they have more of a horizontal integration in terms of products. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vertical_integration

So shockingly it is possibly that their presentations are just full of shit....

DayToDayShit · 04/02/2016 22:31

A 'Bottage'

Anyway, my JP bot today is getting all the infertile pregnant. With coming 'on plan' you can get pregnant too.

DayToDayShit · 04/02/2016 22:32

I have also noticed Younique bots are disappearing like rats up a drainpipe. Very quiet.

sminkypink · 04/02/2016 22:40

they're all pestering me and my friends, thats why!

DayToDayShit · 04/02/2016 22:43

Thank fuck they are headed your way. Have had more than my fair share of spider lashes every time i go on fb. Grin

acatcalledjohn · 04/02/2016 22:44

Right, I've been searching castle bot's pages, and came across this. Now, as much as I think she is scamming people for her own bank balance, I get the impression she is not anti-gay at all. However, she is bankrolling a rather large anti-gay person who has been proven to pay towards campaigns fighting against same sex rights.

Yet she gushes about this gay hating cunt's integrity and humility Hmm

Somehow this seems odd coming from her, going by the text message screen dump.
