A letter from HMRC or concentrix part 8

Have you received a letter from HMRC or Concentrix? This is part 8 now. Have you had the dreaded letter demandeing evidence you live alone? Hopefully we can support each other and try and make sense of it all.

Heya Hun if you pay that bill and it just In his name that should be fine, i would recommend clear score then u can see your credit report and what linked to your address, X

Thedailymail - have you received your letter back from concentrix saying they are stopping your payments? Is this after you have sent your documents back? Thats awful of them to stop your payments. How long did they take to let you know?

I would go to cizterns advice Hun , this company only get paid if they stop your money! And you are allowed to appeal this! X

You need to appeal it but i have no idea how you go about doing that. Is the final letter from concentrix or hmrc?

Thedailymail, that's awful! It's scary how easily Concentrix seem to stop people's payments. I've got all the proof but still so scared. Definitely appeal. You would think a tenancy agreement would prove your ex lives somewhere else. I feel ill from the worry of this and the waiting.

This company a joke! I am worried cause I didn't send back statement in , I still feel they don't need them as nothing links me to my ex other then incoming money for our daughter an plus it not him that linked to my house it my brother who I live with x

What also odd on netmums a lady had same problem all paper work showed he lived there she got him to change it showed them he had it change and showed them her tenancy agreement and they said it was all ok and her case was closed !

Where it my brother that flagged up I don't need to show I am financial independent it only bf , partner etc they intrested in , my brother technically can lend me money and it be fine as that what hrmc told me when I first claimed and told them I was living with my mum and brothers

I would like you said ring ur mp, ring cizterns advice u have done nothing wrong! Look online at other groups other people had same problems and some of them had cases closed! They are a joke! Esp since they don't get paid if they don't stop any one benefits x

Hi people just wanting a bit of advice, as discussed my ex has his car registered here as I drive it! For work and to sort kids. But I pay all the bills on it! I've proof in all my statements but I transfer the money from my bank for the insurance into his account for the insurance. This is only used for car insurance and I'm the only one to pay into it. I've asked ex to print a copy so I can send it in with my statements. Do you think that is a good idea?

The daily mail oh my word I feel for you I really do..I'm certain this is going to happen to me they seem to be so harsh and not accepting what anyone is saying!! I also pay all the bills in my house on my own my ex boyfriend pays me money every month for a couch I got for him as a loan as his credit rating is so bad..I've also bought things on credit cards to help him out..he has his bank statements sent to mine but I'm so worried there's other stuff registered at mine that I'm not aware of!! So worried they won't believe me and will stop my tax credits..I honestly can't survive without my tax credits..I will have £80 a month to buy food with and will also have to hand my car back as that's on finance so no idea what to do..you need to appeal this with them I would contact your CAB and see what they say xx

Do concentrix stop your tax credits forever if they think you owe them money or do they just take what they think from future tax credit payments like what HMRC do if you've had an overpayment? So worried and not holding much faith that this is going to turn out easy for me

I feel sick with worry cause I didn't send bank statements as the name was my brother so I felt they didn't need statements just prove he my brother and that all bills where in my mum name now me worried they want to see more

I have received a letter from concentrix saying they believe that there maybe another adult living with me and that I need to send bank statement etc.. do you know if I have to send statements of my savings accounts?

I'm the same blabla, with the bank statements. Kinda thinking I might just send them in. Just tell them I've got round to getting then printed now. I've got a few extra payments from my ex because he didn't start paying maintenance for a few months as he wasn't working. I'm not really sure they're bothered about the extra payments since its not hundreds of pounds. But if I send in my statements they can see I do my own shopping, petrol etc. I don't know what to do. I don't expect they can judge what you spend your money on as long as you pay your bills? I'm worried they'll tell me I shouldn't be eating out, spending money on buying games and stuff.

SJL, my letter said send statements of all accounts. I've got 2 accounts and they'd see I transfer money back and forward to it (I put money aside for other things or upcoming bills then transfer it back when I need it).

I counted up payments one month is only 200 some months it 400 depends on what she needs a month but only bill I have in my own name is ee, worse case they can do is ask for my statements which I really hope not cause of all the printing

Ok thanks, I have a joint savings account with my ex, we agreed to keep it open and to keep putting money in for our children future, this will obviously show on statements so do you think I should send that to them and just explain why we have it in a covering letter? The account is in both names but at 2 different addresses as we don't live together anymore and I'm wondering if that's why they think he is living with me ... what do you think?
Just like everyone else I'm worried sick what this could mean

My plan was to wait and see if the evidence I sent was enough, but I'm worried they might not ask for more information and just make a decision. It seems they want to see we do our own shopping and everything rather than just bills. Might scrutinise my statements tonight then send them in. I guess it's just a chance I take, not send them and they think I'm hiding something and stop my money, or send them in and they complain about my ex giving my random payments. Ughhh. Want this to be over with.

Shopping can count as maintaine as use mine to do shopping in tesco cause of her food and all her fresh fruit but it only small amounts like 10-30 I don't shop in other shops really , the lady on my phone said if they need more information they will contact me, also they accusing me of having a relationship with my brother so I don't know what they need other then his birth certificate!
