Have you received a letter from HMRC or Concentrix? This is part 8 now. Have you had the dreaded letter demandeing evidence you live alone? Hopefully we can support each other and try and make sense of it all.

Flojohns80 I really sympathise with u. I also feel constantly sick, no appetite and can't sleep. And to top it all I am off on holiday tonight with my family and don't even want to go as I am finding hard to act normal around them. Why dont u phone and ask what information they have and send cover letter explaining whatever it is they think they know. That's what I have done and remember they record the conversation if you need them to refer back to what is said.

Is your ex Hun on the Electrol Role at his new address ? I would just explain what you have said in a cover letter as it could be his bank statments that flagged up and any money he gives to u is maintaince my partner always giving me money so my worry is even tho it my brother that flagged up they look at my statements and go on about that instead

I nervous about sending my statements. I buy so much crap haha and I always use my debit card because I never carry cash. But surely they're not going to care what I buy? As long as my bills are all paid and everything. Posting it all today. Be glad when this is all over with. I'm still sort of tempted not to send in my bank statements. But still send my bills and a covering letter.

As I now know it my brother that come up I am sending birth certificate to prove he my brother , council tax bill that my mum pays and explain that She plays all my other bills but I am only sending two bank statements as far I am concerned I've proved he my brother and not my partner X

My situation is its my ex partners name they have. I have 1 account that's still in his name which is my virgin Internet. But that's because I do use it as I can't get other internet in my area yet. I have my own sky account for tv. But I also have an email from Virgin from last August where I tried to sign up for my own account but couldn't as there was already an account at my address. Virgin sent forms out to change the name on the account but my ex refused to sign the account over to me. Really don't know what to do. Would rather not send my statements as I find that too personal. But want this over with. It does actually say on the letter that it's up to me how much I cooperate. I'm fine to send them the print outs of my bills like sky, council tax, utilities and my lease and also the email where I tried to get my own virgin account last year. I can also give them the address where my ex lives and is registered there on the electoral roll and his bank account etc.

I agree Hun it is very personal bank statements like you said it just that one bill that flagged up I would explain what just have to us and send them bills in but that would be it

Yeah that's what I'm going to do. I've decided. I've rewrote my covering letter and explained the situation. It's a lot easier to prove my case without the statements, they won't prove anything! So I've printed a list of all the direct debits I've paid in the timeframe they want and also printed a list of all the payments from my account to virgin media (the account in my ex's name). Then added in my lease etc. Hopefully that's enough. If absolutely necessary I'll send my statements if it comes to that.

You made me re think mine lol I am not going to send statements as they just want to see if person was living with me which is my brother I can prove he my brother and that should be end of it! Hopfully

i had a letter from this Concentrix company back in March and although i don't live with my ex and haven't for a long time, they wrote to me asking for my statements i sent off a all the stuff they asked for and a covering letter explaining why my exes bank statements come to my house, and why he pays for a bill, anyway yesterday, i received a letter saying due to his statements coming to my address and that they can see he pays for one of the bills they now want to "interview under caution" and they believe we are a couple and they say we should be a joint couple, and i could end up paying it all back , now i am just worried sick, i can't sleep or eat. I also only sent in the direct debits on my bank statements and they want those resend so they can see what comes in and what goes out. it says that I haven't complied properly with their request, and I'm scared now, i really didn't think it would come to this

That's terrible, you must be so worried :( I don't know how they can get away with bullying people like this. I'm dreading hearing what they say to me next. My stuff would have arrived today so it's a matter of waiting now. I didn't send full bank statements, just the direct debit transactions, which includes the virgin bill that's in my ex's name but shows I pay for it and have done for over a year. He refused to sign the account over to me and Virgin wouldn't let me open another account at the address (sent them them the email from Virgin stating that). I really hope it's ok. It's so worrying isn't it? Wonder why they said you haven't complied if you sent in all the information? You should maybe get some advice from citizens advice before your interview? When is it? You know you haven't done anything wrong so just try not worry (easier said than done!). When you have the interview all you can do is explain the reasons his bank statements go to your address.

Thanks, i think that is what they mean that I haven't complied. I rang them up and the lady on the phone told me that his bank statements coming to my address means i haven't complied and they are tightening up the way they do things now., also with the bill in his name. no way out now as they have all the evidence
I am going to get some advise before i go it says in the letter i should get advice and its 11th July the interview under caution, they have given me time to talk to advisor but it just drags, and they have stopped my payments, i really wish i hadn't of wrote what i did in the covering letter to them now its just made things ten times worse, plus i didn't send in my own bank statements correctly so its obviously made them suspicious

Can't believe they've stopped your payments, you'd think they'd wait until after the interview under caution. Seems with Concentrix people are guilty until proven innocent. I'm wondering if my covering letter was ok. I basically just stuck to a timeline of facts and proof. I've sent them my ex's address, even though HMRC already have it and explained why 1 bill is in his name. Sent them all my other bills in my name. It's terrible how everything just drags out and people just have to sit and worry. Is this the first you've heard back from them after sending your information in March?! The letter says to give them 15 days, what a joke! Might just send in my full statements after all, only reason I didn't was because there's so many pages and I buy loads of crap so worried it would look bad. I hope citizens advice are able to give you some good advice and ease your worry a bit.

Me thinking should I send my bank statments in mm but they only wanna see them to see if the named person paying bills etc my name person is my brother so I feel they don't need to see them , they only need them to check my finances which is not the reason for the letter hoping that will be ok

That's what I was thinking Charlotte. I've sent 1 years worth of proof of payments of the bill not in my name, then every other bill and council tax letter that's just my name. I've also sent an old bill which shows the account was opened when we where a couple on a joint claim. I've sent all the facts and proof, nothing on my statements can prove it any further. I sent 12 months worth of direct debit transactions too, it's not just a list of what direct debits are set up. It's so frustrating when you know you're in the right and have to work so damn hard to try and prove it. The thing is, my son rarely see's his dad (dad's own choice). That's what's so ridiculous about this.

When I rang them they said I've not been compliant as a single person because he's paying my bills which shows that he's paying into my household I'm scared because it goes back a year and it looks like I will have to pay it all back and they said because I didn't sent my bank statements correctly I'm hiding something

:( can imagine how awful it must feel. I'm still at the start of the process and already worried. When I called when I first got the letter, she kept going on about I had to show I was financially independent and that I pay my bills so that's why I sent all my direct debits being paid for the period they asked for. Is it just the 1 bill your ex pays? Do you have kids with your ex? The reason I ask is maybe him paying the bill could be taken towards paying maintenance? I'm sure I've heard other people have arrangements like that and it seems to be acceptable.

It's not just because of the Bill it's his post at mine, it was sky tv he pays for. I haven't got advise yet, I will do next week some time I can't tell my family cos I feel

You shouldn't feel ashamed. Did you explain on your letter why his post goes to yours? I was told to write a covering letter about who the person is that's named on my Virgin bill. It seems they've used your letter against you though.

Is it just his bank statments he gets sent to yours ? Least in person you can argue your case as sky can count toward maintaince for children? You only did what others have done explained everything so that couldn't say you havnt declared every thing ? Or do u mean that you didn't tell them everything and they dug deeper? It be ok Hun seek legal advice ASAP they be able to advise you and also take someone with you to the interview

Hello, just wondering if anyone else has recently received the dreaded Concentrix harassment letter ? It seems our entire area has been flooded with these nonsense demands ..... I have started an online petition via Change.org in protest of anyone would like the link to sign and share it ?
