Confused

You would never be able to get a tent big enough in the back garden of her council house for the January outdoor subzero brainwashing sizzle. That's why she needs a barn - for the land, for the tent.

Patzy85 · 21/01/2016 19:40

It is all so dull. No wonder they only hang around with their #foreverfriends because no one else can be bothered with their boring, self-centred gushing.

Obviously they tell themselves that this is because normal people lack vision/ambition. I've seen a few saying they basically ditched anyone who wouldn't get on board or didn't support the decision to join in with the the scam.

Picture a post-forever world, when everyone is left bankrupt and working as cleaners in barn conversions.

I often go to networking events and the forever peddlers change all the time, you almost never see the same one twice. They only open their mouth to recruit and they never seem to have anything about them, generally stand out like sore thumbs when surrounded by actual business people. One (after selling aloe vera for all of 6 months) even offered business coaching to the (speechless) room. Shock Without being unkind, people really done mix with these types at such events, everyone knows how disingenuous they are. They reek of desperation!

What I'm finding hilarious now that these threads have pointed me in the direction of some other FLbots to look at on fb is how amazingly similar their posts are to the 2 that I already watch (a school mum and CS).

eg. The photos of their feet in new colourful trainers (is there any one of them that hasn't had this photo this month??), the view from their "office", the feckin endless selfies in the car, photos of expensive new purchases (often glam shoes), not to mention the barn conversions Grin

So scripted it's unbelievable.

Fintan · 21/01/2016 21:12

I've noticed it too, Norbert.

Scripted and pathetic. There again I'm just jealous. Apparently. Grin

NorbertDentressangle · 21/01/2016 21:38

Montage of 4 FLbots photos taken within a couple of weeks of each other.

Coincidence or scripted?

Can I join in please? I've been watching these bot threads with interest, well fascination actually! I've got 3 F/B friends who have been sucked into it now and one by one they've all tried to get me to join...er, no thanks, I'm in the middle of setting up a REAL business thank you. I've come to the conclusion that you have to be quite narcissistic to become a bot, also just had a look at CS F/B page and it's all duck face selfies or inspirational quotes and lots of look at meeeee!

sminkypink · 21/01/2016 21:42

I still haven't got over Dave O'Conmans muscle mary era. Thanks Eyespy for the link, I've burned my retinas...

BloodyDogHairs · 21/01/2016 21:47

1st time I've posted on here but I've been lurking. There's a "Elite Weekender" this weekend so it shoe city on my time line!

It's the shameless bragging that angers me the most, wealthy people, I mean really wealthy people don't feel the need to brag and be totally crass about the money they earn, you don't see HM Queen taking selfies standing outside Buckingham Palace with a tiara on her head quoting " check out the new pad peeps" whilst pulling a duck face do you?

#LoveMyTribe #bossbabe

sminkypink · 21/01/2016 22:17

haha, true, DP has some seriously wealthy/titled types on his side of the family. They are not flashy at all. Serious/old money does not need to brag about it. You don't even buy furniture or jewellery. It all gets handed down. You certainly don't buy Louboutins, cars, or designer handbags, you shop at John Lewis! :D All the wealth is stashed away in trust funds for the future, out of sight. It is not spent on fripperies. It's how they stay wealthy. You don't stay wealthy by pissing it up the wall, showing off.

The mlm prosperity gospel is such a comedy, cartoon version of wealth isn't it?

BlueThursday · 21/01/2016 22:20

I feel I must confess:

I do like a drink of aloe Vera juice Blush

However, I get it for about a fiver from Costco - much cheapness!

sminkypink · 21/01/2016 22:32

the Costco one is probably better quality!

BlueThursday · 21/01/2016 22:41

Sorry should have been a Grin

Siwi · 21/01/2016 22:55

I googled Abrahan-Hicks.

Is he a prophet?

It is v woo and culty to the extent that I stopped reading incase I caught the crazy.

MrGrumpy01 · 21/01/2016 23:16

Abraham-hicks is all kind of strange. I am scared and intrigued in equal measures.

www.houseregistry.co.uk/address/grange-lane-hough-on-the-hill-grantham-south-kesteven-lincolnshire

This seems to show that none of the barns has been sold since 2005 - I can't work out if that is a mistake or not?

www.rightmove.co.uk/house-value.html?searchLocation=NG32+2AN&sellersPriceGuide=Start+Search&radius=0.25&displayPropertyType=&bedrooms=
And here, the barn was for sale for £475,000 in 2010 the £500,000 up to 2014 and now it's £480,000. But it was never sold I don't think.

AnthonyPandy · 21/01/2016 23:29

It's like none of them realise the house sale price will be public knowledge or the fact it's still for rent will not be noticed. Mumsnet is so big there is always someone who will look at one of these photos and think 'hey that's down the road from me' or 'that's near my Uncle's house' or whatever, even if they do try to hide the location of the property.

acatcalledjohn · 21/01/2016 23:57

Especially for Patzy85...

The buying of the mindwashing books gets me. Why havent any of the bots wondered where the money goes, and why dont they just share their books with each other???? Its called re-cycling after all. They really are brain washed. Hmm

Siwi · 22/01/2016 08:22

Does Forecer Living own the Hwange Lodge in SA?

rayofhope · 22/01/2016 08:26

Here's a list of all their resorts around the world. I don't see Hwange lodge on it.

www.aboutforever.com

sminkypink · 22/01/2016 08:34

Don't know. The Forever Resorts ebsites seems to be solely USA based lodges and marinas. Just realised I've stayed in one of their lodges, at the Grand Canyon. I don't remember any aloe!
