Totally think some of us should give a few reviews on there ;)

nappyoclock · 18/09/2015 19:23

My bot is an actiderm bot..

One thing which puzzles me is that actiderm make a big thing about saying they are french i.e. laboratorie actiderm.

Yet...
Acti-Laboratories Europe, 39 Central Way, Andover SP10 5AN
ActiDerm is distributed in UK by: Aesthetimeds Ltd.
Registered number: 05747405 (England and Wales) VAT Reg No:883693568
ActiDerm is a brand owned by Acti Laboratories LLC.

Aesthetimeds is a UK company.
Acti Laboratories LLc is an American company.
Parlez-vous francais?

p.s. Liking the quote on the fb group!

lastuseraccount123 · 18/09/2015 19:27

betty hahahaha

nappy from our digging most MLMs are US based and have links to the mormon religion/UTAH, so it wouldn't surprise me if that were the case.

Thanks!

Out of all the shit that comes with forever living it's the fake friendly crap that has riled me the most. Twice in the last few weeks old acquaintances have made contact with me. One girl I went to uni with and got on well with but didn't really see each other after (only a few years ago, 'mature' students) invited me to her house for a get together. I was pleased as I liked her and I'm not a person with lots of mates

Anyway it turns out it was a launch party.

Another nursery mum who I've always been friendly with but never all chummy chummy is being super nice to me. Turns out she's just launched her new business. Selling shirts.

It kind of hurts actually. I'm obviously not good enough to be regarded as a friend by these people until they've got shit to peddle.

lastuseraccount123 · 18/09/2015 22:23

ugh, that's awful FLMA.

ForeverLivingMyArse · 18/09/2015 22:24

*shit

Not shirts.

Shit made out of the magical aloe vera.

ForeverLivingMyArse · 18/09/2015 22:25

Don't get me wrong I'm not losing sleep over it, it's just a bit shit and am feeling a bit targeted.

lazycoo · 18/09/2015 22:36

I know, because you get your hopes up that they might be genuine and like you as a person. But I just feel sorry for them. They're brainwashed into thinking that it's acceptable to use friends and family to buy overpriced tat so they can not just earn a crust, but earn enough to flaunt it in your face.

lastuseraccount123 · 18/09/2015 22:48

FLMA you ARE being targeted so feeling a bit shit is a rational reaction imo. No one likes being used for an ulterior motive.

coo i'm torn tbh. On one hand it's kinda sad. on the other hand it's infuriating. i swing back and forth.

freaking MLM fuckers.

I think by the time they have to extend to acquaintances and mere randoms on a fb group they should perhaps realise that this is not the route to riches beyond their wildest dreams.

As I have gone on I am more annoyed at the random 'invite' esp as it was on a bf'ing group and therefore a lot of potentially vulnerable women (as in soon to be returning to work with a young baby)

colleysmill · 18/09/2015 22:56

Sorry just catching up - yes it's Actiderm :) fb selling site is flooded but currently all about selling rather than recruiting. I shall follow closely.

my 2 friends who are fl distributors seem to be quite quiet tbh although one was tagged at a workshop last night.

lastuseraccount123 · 18/09/2015 22:57

it's so manipulative.

I notice my bot has asked for a second time if anyone wants to join her team so she can 'coach' them to success. not one like on that post so far.

I think Timeless Vie must be due its first success day type event soon! Yeovil? Travel by National Express?

ScribbleScrabble · 19/09/2015 09:13

Yes, yes ... Post an 'event' National express 'pick up points', I reckon 'Slough' would be a good place for a venue - we could have David Brent as a motivational guest speaker!

ScribbleScrabble · 19/09/2015 09:15

We could charge £195 per head and make sure that it's held at any time 'other' than school hours who the fuck minds the kids when they are off partying at these success weekends and training events?

throwingpebbles · 19/09/2015 09:17

I love the timeless vie site! Well done you lot Grin I was on the early threads but then real life got in the way
The world seems to be crawling with FLbots and Younique bots round here. I don't get why they think a small area could sustain so many!

tribpot · 19/09/2015 09:31

I think Slough, or maybe Wolverhampton.

FLMA I would suspect you are being targeted because you have a small child. That seems to be regarded as the best 'feeding ground' because you are most likely to be looking for a miraculous way to earn extra money without using childcare/incurring the enormous costs involved.

This whole 'selling by pretending to be friends' thing is odd - not that it doesn't happen in 'real' business as well but it happens in a professional context where people expect to be sold to - e.g. a free bar at a conference sponsored by company X is unlikely to have many people thinking 'awww that's so nice, they obviously really like me and want to be my friend'. In the personal context, no-one wants that kind of sell. Example - a friend of mine has started a yoga business for kids and teens. Very happy to like her site, follow her on Instagram, I hope it does well for her, if we lived closer I'd probably take ds along to give it a try. But even if she wanted to sell aggressively (not very yoga-ish anyway) she is limited by human factors - she can only take so many kids per session, there are only so many sessions per week, and the need for goodwill. When you're selling vapour there are no natural limits on it because it's all fiction. Goodwill seems to go straight out the window (along with common sense and manners).

spanky2 · 19/09/2015 09:32

My flbot stopped doing it after two fun weeks. So sad.

ScarlettInSpace · 19/09/2015 10:06

Can I put forward Telford as a venue for the success event.

It's dull as fucking dishwater and no one in their right mind would go there voluntarily.

bettyberry · 19/09/2015 10:07

Coventry. Because being sent to Coventry will be a punishment fit for a bot... as the old saying goes.

GoofyIsACow · 19/09/2015 10:56

Just seen this thread, i have two younique bots, one FLbot and one herbalife bot (who admittedly has dropped it a bit lately) the absolute worst one is a skincare one, i think it might be nuskin or something, she always covers the logo with her thumb.

Her and her DH are doing it together, i wonder if they sit at home going 'god it's shit this isn't it'

Fishboneschokus · 19/09/2015 11:02

Excellent post, Tribpot. Absolutely spot on.

Venue wise, Kettering is a charming an often overlooked gem of the Midlands.

GoofyIsACow · 19/09/2015 11:25

Vegan free... Confused
