The thing about the fb page is that it's so close to some of the "real" ones that you realise it's almost beyond parody!

I reckon some of the 'likers' think it's real!! True 'BOTS' may even be liking it to get tips ;) can you imagine if #onlinecrappertraining starts trending! I want our page to get 1000likes ;)

I'm very tempted to order some x-plurge looking at that page! Will it make my breath smell herby though?????

Should add I think my local fb selling site is being bombarded by a new company on me - looks similar mlm set up with "ambassadors" and a nice chart showing how you increase your levels or "carats". Not sure if I should mention the company name in case I'm wrong but my bot sensor is going off (probably all the hashtags, thermal wraps and detox claims with multiple postings)

I love the Facebook page. A fl bot that I have been friends with for a while through baby groups has approached me by pm with all the standard lines about how beautiful my child is and how she has a business opportunity that I may be interested in as I am such a bubbly person!
I'm so flattered but also concerned she may be referring to my chronic wind problem
I have said "I am not interested in forever living " she has replied " can I ask why hun?"
Any thoughts on how I should reply now?

If the "opportunity" is Actiderm, then yes it's another of the same ilk. Seem to be particularly active in spamming local selling pages at the moment. Full of dodgy pictures of wraps, inch loss and melting away the fat.....which is complete bollocks quite frankly.

angry my suggestion is not to engage - at all. And if pushed, I see there being nothing wrong with saying 'sorry, you may not ask why'. You don't owe this woman, or anyone, an explanation. It's basically rude to make people justify their reasons for not liking your business. You wouldn't set up a coffee shop and then challenge all your friends who continue to get their coffee at the competitor in such a way if you expect them to give you their custom

They hook you in by getting you to try to justify your discomfort. There's an answer for everything. It truly is brainwashing stuff.

Huge thanks to lastuser, Jane and everyone else who has been engaging with the Timeless Vie facebook page. I absolutely love it. I was pretty squeamish about sharing the posts but I'm glad I've done it as five or six friends have liked the page so far.

DH was slightly concerned I'd fallen for a MLM when he saw them on my timeline but loves the parody

I'd just reply, "I'd rather not debate this one, as I value your friendship. Let's just agree not to mention the subject again. :) How's [start on tangent to do with neutral different topic]?"

If she pushes it beyond that point she is not your friend, sadly.

Thanks for the responses. I was going to not bother replying but wasn't sure whether to point out her pushiness, as lazycoo points out, that is not normal business behaviour, or take the piss slightly by suggesting she looks into the benefits of parsley as xenu suggests. I hardly know the woman, if she was a friend, I'd enter a debate with her.
She has fallen for the whole package, constantly posting inspirational memes and hashtags such as #askmewhatido. Photos of her laptop in the garden, meetings with people with "vino"..
"how can you even call this work?!"
Etc etc. She is very deep into it, has given up her job etc.

I just feel I may say something as she lives in a fairly deprived socio-economic area and she seems to be succeeding in dragging people in. I am torn

I haven't stopped by the FB page for a few days so have been catching up on the latest developments - I absolutely love the new Parsmobile (hope you will have it poorly spray-painted green). And especial kudos on the "we can be rich by using our family's" - top notch grammar fail.
