Spanky2, I hope you are ok now, that sounds awful. Does anyone know if the C9 takes into account how active different people are. Someone could have a very active job and lifestyle and would need a higher cal meal surely. I know women are allowed a 600 cal meal, and men a 800 cal.

Annie65 · 25/08/2015 13:48

Several of my flbots are trying the same hair-style. Hmm, lemmings comes to mindWink

acatcalledjohn · 25/08/2015 14:56

This appeared on my local selling page the other day. Calculations (based on the prods mentioned) mean that 340 items sold lead to a £1150 profit. That in a month equals 11 items sold every day for 30 days.

Call me stupid, but a commute and guaranteed much higher salary, working set hours and interaction with colleagues is so much better than a far from secure business model like FM Cosmetics.

Not seen that one before cat and yes, what an opportunity, sign me up... Hmm

The way it's written could lead to the unsuspecting to think these profits are achievable per 5 items sold. Which of course is what it's trying to do.

acatcalledjohn · 25/08/2015 15:53

lazy, absolutely, I did challenge that...

One of my flbots has videoed her daughter who is about 8, being questioned by another flbot. She is asking the child what 2 things does she like the best about her life : 1, she likes her mummy getting her presents and 2, she likes her auntie E (the other flbot) buying her presents. Spoilt is coming to mind, and she was also asked if her mummy spends more time with her now or in mummys previous job. We all know the answer she gave. It was like an interigation. Confused

borisgudanov · 25/08/2015 16:42

Does PamperedChef count? If so I've got one in my office. Just a cubicle business so far. Monthly parties on the company bulletin board, that sort of shite, but nothing too spectacular. Yet.

spanky2 · 25/08/2015 17:01

Annie65 I got it as an rare reaction to anti-nausea medication I got for migraines. So I'm back to normal, but it's made me view my body differently. I try to look after it better than before.
Flbot is trying to recruit fb friends as her team today!

lastuseraccount123 · 25/08/2015 17:06

boris yes Pampered chef counts. So does Stella & Dot, mary kay etc.

Go Ishbel - check out this brave gal on the netmums younique thread:

If you want some fun with these you have to pretend you are interested, get them to send you links to the recruitment videos and watch them. Youtube will then link you to sales technique videos. They are gob smackingly awful - from an ethical point of view and as a good for giggles laugh at the awful people on there.

I wonder how over-priced these products must be to provide so much commission up the chain.

I have some lovely network marketers on some of my business groups - they don't do the hard sell at all, but they are looking at it as pocket money, not a get rich quick BS scheme.

LittleMissStubborn · 25/08/2015 17:44

Mine and 'the No 1 team' have been busy. I've had the 'I don't sell aloe, I sell dreams' meme and if we were to just say yes we could have everything we want. Plus various things about working part time.

It is like they think FL is the only way to work part time/from home/for yourself.

LittleMissStubborn · 25/08/2015 17:47

Oh and 'business meetings' with your kids playing at your feet sounds like my idea of hell and certainly not very productive. Dare I say it but I quite like working in relative peace in my office.

I was quite shocked by the £8.99 mascara price (three step, even though it's one step only: three balls on the brush apparently warrant the term 'three step' Hmm), as the earnings over 17 weeks (85 mascaras sold with a total £255 profit) works out at £3 profit. So really the mascara is £5.99. Out of which the commission for several levels above the seller gets paid.

Essentially this is no more than a bargain basket piece of crap mascara.

But fear not, it's all mineral. Whatever the fuck that may mean.

The NetHuns thread is a bit sad. "We are not allowed to disclose salary". Well obviously, as otherwise no bugger would bother signing up to that shit!

Blind as bats, I tell you.

lastuseraccount123 · 25/08/2015 17:51

yup totally. show me the money. until then I will believe that you don't have any.

OP posts:
LittleMissStubborn · 25/08/2015 18:06

I agree re the money - it is I got x, e.g child A some new clothes, well did did you go to Primax and buy 2 t-shirts and a pair of trousers and spend £15 or did you go to Debenhams and kit them out in designer wear.

Smoke screens. (Plus who in the real world talks about that type of thing other than crying at the cost of shoes for 3 children )

Libitina · 25/08/2015 20:05

I absolutely 'Love' what I do. Being at home enables me time freedom. I've just got all the ingredients ready for tomorrows curry and then had a meeting with some of the team whilst having a brew at the kitchen table, and the best part is, I get paid more for doing this than I did in my 40 hour week + commute. If you love what you do you'll never have to work a day in your life again x

Libitina · 25/08/2015 20:06

So honestly.....who feels like this? Is it because you dislike your job? your boss? your colleagues? The commute? unsociable hours? Shifts? or is it because you want more family time? Less stress?I was all about wanting family time. So tomorrow I will be spending the day with my beautiful 3 yr old daughter and 13 yr old niece. The day is ours and will be spent doing whatever we want.I chose to work from my living room. Working hours around my family. Doing as much or as little as I choose. I made a choice.
If you want the same freedom make a choice to contact me and let me show you how. It's YOUR choice

Libitina · 25/08/2015 20:06

Gah! Bold fail!

Twolefttoes · 25/08/2015 20:11

I have been invited to 4 private parties on fb this week. I only go to parties with real food and drink and erm fun.

LittleMissStubborn · 25/08/2015 20:15

How on earth do they manage to spend all the time with their family yet earn more than they did in a ft job?

Dh is the sahp, it is quite safe to say the house has gone to wreck and ruin over the holidays, he simply can't look after/entertain the children plus do 'work' (for sake of argument housework in his case)

LittleMissStubborn · 25/08/2015 20:22

And its strange because on fb/recruiting they tell you that it is easy to make money and you can fit it all around being at home with your children, yet go to advice threads on another site and it is full of 'to earn the money you need to put in the effort' ergo lots of time.

It is very confusing, but I guess as money is to be made by signing up people you want it to look a doodle.

lazycoo · 25/08/2015 20:47

It's all designed to wreck your head. It's so perverse that you, as a normal person, would never think that such a cynical system could exist. That it's your fault you don't understand it. If you're questioning it then you're 'not getting it' (eg salary structure). The Arbots (Arbonne) nearly got me. Still shuddering three years on. Not so much about the money I nearly lost, but how close I got to truly believing their lies. Anyhow, that's not very lighthearted! Sorry!

Go on yerself Ishbel!

lastuseraccount123 · 25/08/2015 21:39

yup exactly. but if you think about it it's quite clever, because when the new bot inevitably fails to make bucketloads of $$$ they can just say it's cos 'she didn't work hard enough". even though not having to work that hard is the point....

sooo scammy

lastuseraccount123 · 25/08/2015 21:40

i agree it is a very cynical system. they are taking advantage of people, no doubt in my mind.
