Thank you 12fedup12 for reply. I'll ring them and make sure xx

Hi all, just thought I would write what has happened to my case. Got letter from concentrix 9th June, sent documents for employment check on 10th June and they signed for them on 11th. Rang on my deadline date of 9th July and they had to extend it as my documents hadn't been scanned. Rang them Wednesday this week and spoke to a woman after half hour wait at 8am. She asked a few questions and said it would go for a decision. Today I am on the phone to tax credits who have told me my payments are going down 30.00 per week! That's a lot of money to most of us and me. But I'm glad it's done and my kids are have one year left at 6th form so I hope I will never hear from them again! This country doesn't reward hard working low income families, they don't help us in anyway, instead they accuse us of fraud!!! Hope all your cases go well.x

Sronm1979 · 25/07/2015 15:11

Hi Deni, that's quite a substantial amount considering the taper rate of 41%. Ours was the same check. Hope I have some closure as mine is about 1 week after yours.

GrumbleAboutThings · 25/07/2015 17:13

I had the concentrix letter in May, I sent all the documents they wanted and they signed for them the morning after.

It was about 7 weeks before I got a reply, my documents arrived back last week with a 'thank you, here are your documents back, we'll be in touch about your claim' letter - with no date on it.

Today I have received another letter from them (exactly the same as the first one they sent in May) asking for all my documents again, exact same documents from the exact same time period... what the fuck is that about?

CharlotteFors · 25/07/2015 17:20

LouiseW1984 - I asked them and apparently they inform HMRC who will now process your renewal and issue an awards notice but this can take a further 8 weeks.

LouiseW1984 · 25/07/2015 17:53

Thank you CharlotteFor... just glad it's all coming to an end. My payments also went down by £30p/w when I renewed in May with HMRC then received concentrix letter I am praying it won't go down more. Surely not with the letter saying no change case closed?? How long have people waited after letter saying case closed before getting there documents bk? Xx

RedDaisyRed · 25/07/2015 19:11

Telegraph reports that the Concentrix contract expected to save £285m by outsourcing HMRC tax credit work has saved only £500,000 so far! In Msay 2014 HMRC signed the 3 year contract with Concentrix.

The National Audit Office says the plan to save 1bn from the contract is not achievable.

Scousejo1967 · 25/07/2015 20:04

Grumble have you read the back of the letter ? I received the same letter but when I turned over it asked for my bank statements to be resent as I had screen printed them. Don't ignore it as another lady on here did and they stopped her money x

GrumbleAboutThings · 25/07/2015 22:13

Scouse1967

I have checked and rechecked and just checked again, word for word, it is literally the exact same letter asking for the exact same documents for the exact same time period. The ones they have just returned to me last week thanking me for supplying...

GrumbleAboutThings · 25/07/2015 22:13

All the documents I sent to them were originals. I keep everything like that.

missymoo18 · 25/07/2015 22:41

Grumble, I had a second letter too but before my docs came back asking for same and also other info, they dealt with it over the phone and I didn't need to send anything

GrumbleAboutThings · 25/07/2015 22:56

I'm gonna have to ring them aren't I? I fucking hate speaking over the phone to people. I have major anxiety about it.
I'm not spending another £8 sending everything back via recorded delivery again, it's like pass the fucking parcel. Weirdos.

Scousejo1967 · 25/07/2015 22:58

Ring them up hon might be a mistake their end

Deni3774 · 26/07/2015 15:38

Good luck with yours sronm, I am actually going to appeal against mine as I believe they are wrong. I can't afford to lose money, plus I put the wrong amount on my renewal. So I have amended that now.x

leppi · 26/07/2015 15:54

Ours got slashed by £60 a week Deni, they reckoned they miscalculated it all last year. Still waiting to hear back from Consentrix, not been paid Working Tax Credits for about 3 weeks now, starting to really feel the pinch a bit. Been given a bigger contract at work, more hours so had to ring Consentrix and update information. Just hoping it speeds things up a bit as opposed to delaying them further :-\

Deni3774 · 26/07/2015 16:39

That's terrible leppi, I feel for you. They are just disgusting, hitting people that are trying to survive!

leppi · 26/07/2015 18:29

They sure are! It's folk like us managing on minimum wage that have been hit the hardest in all of this. Meanwhile the government sit there rubbing their hands with glee at their 10% rise & just sit back & watch the whole mess!

Scousejo1967 · 26/07/2015 19:05

Why did they stop you're money hon. I reported a change mid Concentrix don't think they could go any slower tbh

leppi · 27/07/2015 07:08

They reckoned they sent a letter to us back in May. Never received it. 1st I knew about it was when HMRC finalised this years award & I had a random payment in for a weeks child tax credit. Rang them to see & was informed that it was the norm to pay an extra week, but they'd not paid Working Tax as I'd not sent the info to Consentrix. Clueless as to what they were on about, I rang the number they gave me & got told they'd stopped it for non respsonse to a phantom letter! They've not closed the case though, which is a bonus I guess. Just all this constant waiting, does my head in!!

MissE84 · 27/07/2015 09:50

Leppi what was your check on?

MissE84 · 27/07/2015 09:53

I got my letter last week we will write to you shortly about your tax credits claim. Fingers crossed I won't get another letter to ask to resend info as I won't be here from next week going on holiday till end of aug! This fucking government are destroying hard working low income families. They just want us to struggle more and more.

MissE84 · 27/07/2015 09:58

Reddaisyred omg 3 yrs contact with hmrc I can imagine how many people by then are going to suffer financially because of these sick people.

Scousejo1967 · 27/07/2015 10:04

Leppi that's terrible are you still get child tax credit ? Keep ringing them and complain to Hmrc . Mines been ongoing since 4 th may 3 mths of worry they don't give a shit but I'm lucky they have not stopped payments . Hope u get it sorted love x

Scousejo1967 · 27/07/2015 10:07

Miss e ring them and tell them you're going away a lot if girls have had theirs closed on the phone hon

mumdad5 · 27/07/2015 10:38

Hi all, just rang concentrix usual hour onhold to be told mine case has still not be signed to a case worker !!! Docs were scanned on system on the 11 july, i asked cant you do it over phone n he said no one here is able to do that, couldnt tell me how much longer it would be either cos of the sheer volume of docs, i said what happens with the renewals having to be done by 31st july, he just said should be ok as theyve got my renewal n its processed after the work the case so im no further forward just more worrying n waiting x really beginning to loose my mind, has anyoneelse been told this ?
