A letter from concentrix or HMRC part 6

Have you had a letter from concentrix or HRMC about another adult living at your address,letters querying child care etc,please post your experiences on this thread so we can support and help each other.

Husbands earnings and hours last year. :/

After giving up hope of ever getting my payslips back they have just been delivered :)

round 3 with concentrix, on hold for 41 minutes so far!!!!

Hi i sent my renewal in april then recieved the concentrix letter i sent everything to them and it took till july 9th to recieve a decision a letter stating no changes have been made. My tax credits were reduced by £14 per week but up to date i havent recieved a finalised tax credit for last year . Then this morning recieved a letter from housing benefit asking for wage slips arrrghhh its driving me mad !!

Donna73 why are housing benefit asking for you wage slips? Is it because concentrix have reduced your payments?

had concentrix no amendment confirmation letter last week but still waiting for my docs.

Catmto3, I sent everything in May. My dead line was 21st may! They told me yesterday that they had closed my case and I need to contact hmrc to make any changes only problem being when I spoke to hmrc they are saying my file is still open with concentrix. I finally got through to them again today and they then said it was closed yesterday and they tried to call me back (which they didn't) they said to allow 24/48 hours for it to be updated. they havereally messed my child care up. They have finalised my claim with a figure I think they just plucked out their head so I'm just trying to amend it but neither hmrc or concentrix seems to know what's going on. Oh and to top it off, hmrc can't contact concentrix which I find ridiculous... Hope everyone is starting to see light at the end of the tunnel...

Lancs1980 so you waited 3 months for them to close your case. I m being checked for childcare too. I think my documents were returned yesterday need to collect my letter at the post office cause I wasn't at home yesterday to sign for it.

Lancs have you called hmrc today, from my experience and others once case is closed if you call hmrc the next day it should be done. Try giving them a call now

Hi just picked up the letter that was sent from concentrix so yes my documents have been returned after 6 weeks, there's no date on the leter it just states 'thank you for sending me your documents which I am returning. I will be writing to you shortly about your tax credits claim'.. God know how long I have to wait now

That's the standard letter and nine of them have dates on them!

After 7 attempts at ringing and being on hold for and hour.

I have got through and been told, that there is no case to answer and my claims and statements all match (she sounded disappointed) and they will HRMC know. The whole thing is so stressful and a disgusting way to treat people.

I shall now wait for an award notice.

I hope they won't ask for anything else

Urgh called and they are scanning on 19/20th June so won't be until the end of July mine is scanned. What are they actually doing to have such a backlog?

Hi all, I rang them last Thursday to be told documents should be scanned on by Monday this week, they received them on the 15th June and I have just rang them now to be told they are still not on the system! I really don't know how much more I can take of this now! The girl on the phone was very nice and very apologetic but it's still getting my back up!

Ive had my docs back with letter stating will be writing to me etc(guess this means theres a problem? To confuse me more prov award came today stating theyve paid me too much and will reduce payments but the payments look the same as ever..can any one shed light on this or had similar,this my 7th week cant cope..

Lauren132, it's just a standard letter that comes back with your documents. My doc came back yesterday with the same letter. Almost everyone gets the same letter when docs are returned back. As for provisional my payments went down in April by 50 pound because my income was higher than the year before. I haven't had another provisional sent apart from the one in April that came with my renewal form.

Well they might go down again so am waiting now. It's ridiculous plus am going away in two weeks time.

I received the provisional tax credits award ... It says on there the payments shown take in to account that you appear to have been paid to much tax credits for the earlier year . Has anyone else had this ... Does this mean il have a overpayment once the review has been finalised
