30,000! No wonder it's taking so long! Mine were signed for on June 12th and I assume have been scanned. I can't face waiting on the phone for hours so am trying to be patient and waiting for them to respond. I will leave it a couple more weeks and then call as it will be nearly 2 months by then. I think Concentrix are going to be receiving a huge amount of complaints and subject Access requests too on top of the documentation.

CharlotteFors · 20/07/2015 17:40

That fact they thought only 20% would respond, suggest they think 80% of people don't want to claim tax credit, or don't need to!

Sronm1979 · 20/07/2015 17:51

I suspect it's more, they hoped only 20% would respond, so they can stop payments & therefore "save billions" but after reading the recent Audit report, HMRC have reported only 4.4% fraud & error, so after all this hassle they won't be paid as much as they projected (diddums), plus they will have huge complaints to deal too.

NoToast · 20/07/2015 18:12

I've always wondered why HMRC would have outsourced this if it was going to save so much money. Now it looks like HMRC have had a very clear idea of the amount of fraudulent claims or those they could easily shake off from their compliance tests. Knew the savings were small and outsourced the expense of tracking the relatively few down. Strikes me concentric will have to find other sources of revenue from this exercise so wonder whether our data can be used.

If they're over stretched I hope they don't get too many complaints, questions or the like to tie them up further Wink

NoToast · 20/07/2015 18:29

Should add, that it's disgusting that a commercial money making exercise has caused so many so much stress. I'm still waiting on my final decision letter from Concentrix, docs sent on 3rd June, sent back week before last but no news...thoughts with everyone on here still waiting and worried.

Doodles2310 · 20/07/2015 21:50

Sent my docs 6th June and got them back this week with a letter saying they'll write to me soon about my claim. What does that mean?

Morgan97 · 20/07/2015 21:52

Absolutely disgusting how much stress they cause. They stopped my money in march n I'd done nothing wrong. They've now accepted my new claim but no apology no response to the letters I've sent. They demand documents from people threatening to stop payments if they don't get don't get what they ask for. Shame on them!

Doodles that is a standard letter that is sent back with your documents I hit some of my documents back today with the same letter enclosed and my case was closed on 1st of July and already had the letter to confirm that, have you spoken to them at all, might me worth phoning to see if your case is closed

Doodles2310 · 20/07/2015 22:10

I was on hold with them for an hour today already. Bloody nightmare. That's happy days if it's standard, wish they'd hurry up tho with the renewal or repayments or whatever. I hate not knowing, it's a nightmare

12fedup12 · 20/07/2015 22:13

That letter is sent to everyone so don't panic about that, have you tried calling hmrc to see if your renewal has been completed people are not having to wait long to talk to them might be worth giving them a try tomorrow

Doodles2310 · 21/07/2015 01:37

Thanks 12fedup12 ill phone them in the morning

emilou123 · 21/07/2015 08:26

Morgan 97 I am just catching up on this thread and just read your brill news. It has really made my day! Am so pleased for you. Have been.busy so not posted recently but best of luck to everyone else caught up in this scandal xx

Lancs1980 · 21/07/2015 13:59

Hi guys, I've been reading this forum for a while now. I'm being passed from hmrc back to concentrix like there's no tomorrow!! I have received my documents back but haven't heard anything else since. I then attempted to notify hmrc about a change to my child care (letter from concentrix was about child care) they told me they couldn't change anything and to call concentrix who after 1 hour and 10 mins told me they closed my case 3/7/15 I then called hmrc back to make the change only to be told concentrix still haven't updated my file.... What an earth is going on??? Back on the phone to concentrix, on hold now for 20 minutes. I just want to cry I'm so fed up. Anyone else had this same experience?

Morgan97 · 21/07/2015 15:47

Thank you emilou it made my day too when I rang them I went from crying to laughing in seconds lol. Lancs I know it's frustrating did you manage to get through? Sometimes it helps to ask to speak to a manager or a supervisor. They really haven't got a clue what they're doing half the time.

shazzarooney99 · 21/07/2015 16:17

Well ive had a letter today finally! its only been since May!!!! and no change to my claim! case closed,

Lancs1980 · 21/07/2015 16:44

Hi Morgan, I didn't manage to get through again due to having to get to work, will try again in the morning and ask for a manager. Will post update

Morgan97 · 21/07/2015 17:12

Nice one shazza really pleased at the outcome for you. Lancs good luck for tomorrow it's the not knowing that's stressful. Well it looks like they've bitten off more than they can chew doesn't it. All this stress and after weeks or months of waiting no change to claims. Makes me so mad some of us have been in tears in this thread they should be ashamed of themselves.please don't forget to keep your documents safe just in case this happens again x

That's great shazza, pleased for you. I'm still waiting for my payslips back! Everything else that I sent by first class post came back yesterday (p60, contract and letter from employer), but 13 months payslips which I sent by next day delivery haven't turned up yet!
To be honest I can't be bothered to chase them up for them as I have had enough of dealing with them, i have had letters confirming case closed without changes and my new award from hmrc.
My employer printed off copies of all the payslips I sent them so I have that as back up if they don't turn up.

All those who are still waiting to have your cases looked at, I wish you all good luck and hope to read more postive outcomes on here x

Maza111 · 21/07/2015 20:47

12fedup12 · 21/07/2015 20:50

What check is it, did you sent recorded and when was your deadline?
I don't think your payments will stop mine carried on throughout the process you could try calling hmrc tomorrow to confirm your payment is going in on Friday

Catmto3 · 21/07/2015 20:53

Does anyone know what date they are scanning now? Mine were received on 22nd June, can't get through to see if they are done yet.

Maza111 · 21/07/2015 21:05

I know I cant get through either it's the checks where they say I've got a partner when I have not ?

Maza111 · 21/07/2015 21:06

Just they said they may stop if the info is not sent on time I need to make sure they have it there's a back log I think

Maza111 · 21/07/2015 21:22
