Have you had a letter from concentrix or HRMC about another adult living at your address,letters querying child care etc,please post your experiences on this thread so we can support and help each other.

As i was typing my tax credit award came!!! So Fedup yours should be soon if not at home when you get home.

Thanks Morgan and scousejo1967 Yeh sorry that was supposed to be June. I did say to him so while there company was understaffed everyone has to suffer but you know same old bulls#@t comes out there mouth..

Finally got my award notice, no extra payments due to the fact they say a change in my circumstances means they paid me too much (nothing has changed since 2009! - they just dragged it out from April to July and I'm apparently over the exact amount of the extra payment) and the payments have in face increased by a grand total of 50p or so a week so I can go out and party with a packet of crisps!

I called Concentrix again on 21st July to confirm my case had been closed as i was previously told it was. IT HADN'T. The man closed it there and then and said no changes where made. I called HMRC yesterday and was told my renewal was completed on 23rd June and I should have received my award notice by now. My question is, How can they renew my claim if Concentrix had not done there checks etc.... My documents wasn't scanned on till the end of June.

Really pleased to hear more good results for some of you. I FINALLY received my no change decision letter today , 2 full months after my docs were returned. If any of you have had your case closed over the phone and dont get the confirmation letter within a week, phone them till you get it confirmed a second time and kerp phoning every week till you get it in writing. I was told my case was closed a month ago on the phone but received no decision letter. I had phoned hmrc and they were processing my renewal but I hadn't received my award so phoned Concentrix back last week to be told my case HAD NOT been closed but the advisor closed it there and then and true to his word my decision letter has now arrived. Three months of stress and worry . Please dont accept their word on the phone till the letter is in your hands. My award has been late being processed because hmrc cant issue the award till Concentrix officially tell them to.
Morgan you have been a tower of strength to those of us waiting, despite living the reality of stopped payments , I hope you get every penny backdated

Fab news hon just in time for summer holidays . I have a horrible feeling this will be a yearly occurrence but by the time mine is sorted it will prob be time for next one x

They make you laugh tho as if Concentrix are a different company with more power than Hmrc they employ them ... They should be on the phone to them making sure they are doing their job

Jo I think Concentrix have made such a horlicks of everything , considering they only started in November , I can't see their contract being renewed with the amount of complaints and the backlog they created through incompetence and poor training. But it's a good idea to keep everything in a folder for the coming year justnin case , then there's no scrabblng about in panic looking for documents.

My case was closed last friday yet to recieve the case closed letter but phoned wed and today to say nit recieved my docs back or case closed letter , gentleman said my case had indeed been closed last friday and confirmed letter sent to confirm this.

Not had it yet and its been a week today since was sent, like i said i have double checked case closed and both advisors said yes defintiley done just bit anxious not had the letter yet.

Ciara how long since you called back confirming case closed to having your letter confirming it ?

Thank you ciara,I'm just pleased its sorted now although I've yet to receive a letter from them telling me!! All I can keep saying is if you send something try to send it recorded delivery and you ring them get the name of the person you're speaking to. Most of all don't give up,write ring n pester them lol

Jonny have you checked with hmrc that your renewal has finished?

yes a guy i spoke to said it was somekind of glitch that he managed to get around and when i called it was finalised today then i realised they used the same income as last year for an estimate for this year but because my partner was on maternity it was lower than it should have been so she put an income again in for this year at an higher amount so i dont get an overpayment next year.

So now after being told my new payments it will change again due to that change i made today, i suppose at least its finalised and i wont have a overpayment next year so worth the extra wait.

If i hadnt have got this chap i spoke to on tuesday to have a look it might have not been done for ages yet.

The lady who made my change today made me panic a bit because she said now she has updated my partners income it is only showing the one off payments made today and nothing else but did reassure meits purely normal and due to that income estimate change made the computer needs to update.

I just dont want to think about tax credits for a while after this for a while and will soon be christmas lol.

Great Jonny at least you know it's all done, I bet if you call tomorrow or Monday then your payment schedule will be set. My award took 2 weeks to arrive so don't expect it to arrive soon

Its been a week since he said it was sent confirming case closed. !

Good to see so many finally receiving final award letters with no changes. Still not received letter from concentrix despite case being closed to weeks ago. But I tootoday received final award notice from hmrc with no changes dated 6th July. Just want paper work back now! !!

Cazzy that is all I'm for now my documents and then I have had everything.

Yes fedup bet you are pleased its nearly over! ! I did phone concentrix to confirm yesterday she told me they had posted a letter and case closed with no changes. I'm guessing everything is ok as I've now had final award. When I phoned hmrc on Wednesday though she said she couldn't tell me anything yet my award notice was dated 6th July! What a waste of money it's been. ..so many on here with no changes! !

My documents have been uploaded now but the guy said it could take 10 days for someone to actually look at them. What is that all about? Lots of people on here just had case closed when they phoned.

What check was yours utdfan? Phone back and ask them to look at your documents while your on the phone

Employment check. Sent 12 months payslips and letter from employer. Would the guy not have looked if he could have though?

When I was told mine was on the I was told 2 weeks to be looked at, he wasn't going to look at them till I asked him if he could check my documents which he then did and closed my case. Mine was also employment check and I sent same documents as you.
