lolo1602, I don't think a covering letter is essential. I sent my docs without a letter but I did write them a note in the space provided in their letter.

cazzymog · 15/07/2015 16:39

Fedup. My case was apparently closed on the 4th on the phone. Not heard a word so just rang hmrc who tell me they can't tell me anything as all she can see is it is being processed. You phoned them and got told how much you were getting etc didn't you? Supose I need to ring concentrix again then! !

12fedup12 · 15/07/2015 16:52

Hi cazzy I called hmrc the day after case closed (2/7) with concentrix and was told my renewal was finalised but didn't have payment schedule at that point, called hmrc again on 3/7 and my payment schedule had been set and was told my weekly amounts.

Did hmrc say case was closed maybe call concentrix and check they have actioned it

cazzymog · 15/07/2015 16:58

I asked hmrc lady if she could confirm it was closed all she would say it was being processed and I should ring them or wait another four weeks and ring hmrc again! not having a good week at all! ! I'll ring concentrix again. I assumed it was all ok!!

12fedup12 · 15/07/2015 17:00

Oh no cazzy how unhelpful, try concentrix again and ring hmrc again tomorrow maybe you will get someone a bit more helpful

cazzymog · 15/07/2015 17:14

Thanks. Yes will have to!

Lolo1602 · 15/07/2015 17:17

Thank you, I've wrote a note of who lives at my address in the box so don't think I'll bother with the cover letter....here goes Confused

mumdad5 · 15/07/2015 17:24

mumdad5 · 15/07/2015 17:26

Starting to doubt mine own judgement !! Hmm

MamaK15 · 15/07/2015 17:26

Johnny mine was closed on Thursday and I received it today.
12fedup12. I received my final award notice before I received the childcare check letter as I renewed in April. I've rang tax credits yesterday and they said my award was finalised then. I had to go through the annual declaration again on Saturday with Concentrix so I'm unsure whether I'll get another ?! X

12fedup12 · 15/07/2015 17:33

Mama I renewed on 1st of May but never got finalised award i got concentrix letter on 4th of June, during that time my renewal was processing until case closed. My award was finalised on 2nd of July just waiting for the award notice to arrive now.

Mumdad I personally would call again before going away but that's because I wouldn't be able to relax if I didn't!

MamaK15 · 15/07/2015 17:36

I got my final award notice dated 19th May. I got the Concentrix letter about 24th May - strange ! X

12fedup12 · 15/07/2015 17:39

traceyh5 · 15/07/2015 19:53

Sronm1979 · 15/07/2015 21:29

Hi everyone,
I'm new on here but have been following for the last few days.
I have also received a letter from Concentrix, to check my partners employment.
From what I've read, even with this check some have been asked for Bank statements (ours didn't).
We received the letter dated 1st June, sent all documents back 17th June by special delivery & have proof they were signed for 18th June. I've been trying to contact them & am unsuccessful so far.
could anyone recommend the best time to contact them.

MamaK15 · 15/07/2015 21:53

I'd say maybe school finish time as a lot will be picking them up !

MamaK15 · 15/07/2015 21:54

I phoned Sat morning about 10am and waited 40 minutes

kayleighdean198615 · 15/07/2015 22:19

i renewed on the 14th may weeks and weeks past thought nothing of it then almost 7 weeks later on the 28th may i recieved a letter from concentrix dated june 21st another adult living with me they didnt even say who? and to provide all details asked for by july 21st i had this in 2013 aswell and then i was given a name i posted them on monday so im holding out no hope judging by what i read on here with having it dealt with any time soon ive also never seen my finalised renewal so i take that means it wont be released until after their decisio. all the documents they have recieved have in no way at all prove another man especially lives here i dont no what they hope to achieve all be it at 6 months pregnant this is stressing my life out the time and expense its taken. the best they could suggest was that a name keeps cropping up on their system..im just worried that like i no theyve done with a few that the evidnece i supplied in 2013 was sufficeint but this year it wont be does my head all because i have allowed in the past my childs father to have post sent here..this time i dont even no if it is him they suspect as they left them unnamed. the mind boggles why they want to stress people like this.

Sronm1979 · 15/07/2015 22:40

Thank you MamaK, I'll try Saturday am, as I too will be at the school gate :-)

zsazsa613 · 16/07/2015 10:35

Please post frustrations to www.hmrc-concentrix.co.uk as they will be posted and used as evidence in a law suit against Concentrix who are acting illegally and in breach of their contract to HMRC.

Lolo1602 · 16/07/2015 10:43

zsazsa613 can you explain why they are acting illegally - I really don't won't to have to go through this again and would like to complain with the right information, thanks

Scousejo1967 · 16/07/2015 13:07

Anyone been I touch this week and knows the dates they are scNning x

Beckyjj · 16/07/2015 13:31

Quick question I got my tax credits payment form's (award) through today. On mine it says provisional tax credits, then states this is not a decision about your entitlement to tax credits. Then i get all the figures etc. Do they all say Provisional on the top of the letters or is it because Concentrix are still looking at my information ?

Scousejo1967 · 16/07/2015 13:45

Yes becky had the same last week means they haven't completed those checks

Dollygem · 16/07/2015 16:59

Hi all been following this group for a while and so happy for the ones who have got there good news and cases closed. I myself got the dreaded concentrix letter asking about my work and working hours, they wanted a years worth of payslips and a letter or contract from employer, I got the the letter the 9th June, sent everything 11th June and was signed for on the 15th of June and heard nothing since! Only ever managed to get through once (I'm on hold as we speak!) my hours are normally always 16 hours but since Christmas I've not been well and had a few ambulance's called and the odd night in hospital, but obviously on some weeks this has lowered my wages and hours as had to have a day or two off, anyway it's worked out because I don't get sick pay that I'm roughly £263 under what I should of earnt for the year and now I'm worrying they will make me repay back the whole year of working tax credit! Only been claiming for two years as split with my husband and now on my own with four kids and now this! The thing is I'm now hopefully on the mend and back to normal working 16hrs + a week so if they take working tax off me I'm now entitled to it once again but scared to reclaim if they try to make me pay back all off last years even though most of it I worked 16hrs for. Just got through and they said they should be scanning documents on by Monday so I asked how long from there for decision, he said I'm looking at two more weeks! So just in time for school holidays! Great!
