A letter from concentrix or HMRC part 6

Have you had a letter from concentrix or HRMC about another adult living at your address,letters querying child care etc,please post your experiences on this thread so we can support and help each other.

I understand that they need to check but how they are going about it is just wrong in my opinion .
I have sent everything that they asked for and more off to them but I don't know how long it will take them to look at it. Also I am so worried because I feel like they are just making up what is acceptable and what isn't .
Yes my ex name is still on the mortgage but I work and pay the mortgage on my own. My ex doesn't live with me and last year and the year before that they were satisfied that I was single so I don't know why they have changed their minds.

Sorry didn't mean to worry you.
Basically I received my annual declaration the end of April. I renewed straight away over the phone. I received my final award notice dated 15th May. On 25th may I received the childcare check letter from Concentrix. I sent them all my receipts on 28th May (signed for and received)
I rang on Saturday. A letter has been posted saying my claim is correct. He then said we haven't done your annual declaration. I told him I had done it direct with Hmrc and I'd already received my final award notice. He went away for a few minutes and said - I can see nothing on out system so I think this may cause an issue so we did it again with him.
Maternity you deduct £100 fir each week you was on maternity. Which I did with him over the phone but he struggles to get it !

Ireallyam did u speak to concentrix or hmrc when you phoned them. I've not heard of them stopping claims . You need to send in a mandatory reconsideration asap as well hon. Go on tax credit casualties too also use their detention of single on their website as well against them it's down to them to prove you're in a relationship not you to prove you're not. If you're financially I dependant from you're ex you have a strong case

Yes I am completely independent of my ex. I pay all my bills, all my mortgage all my childrens expenses.
My ex sees the kids once a week and pays for things while they are out, as far as he gets to the house is the end of the drive in his car!

You have a strong case don't let them bully you hon. You have 30 days from them corresponding in writing to tell you the payment has stopped so as Morgan said get all the evidence you have and go to ur mp and crb

IReallyAm scousejo is right it really does sound like you have a strong case,this happened to me in 2012,my evidence was accepted then,things haven't changed but this year my evidence wasn't enough!! They are bullies and they also tell lies,when you send your evidence try to send it recorded delivery so you have proof of them receiving it. Also if you ring be sure to take their name so you can go back to it at a later date. This happened to me when the person on the phone actually told me to make a joint claim with the person who's house I shared. Good luck and keep us posted.

They've lost my documents Hmm and my h thinks it my fault cos I've rang to chase it! Wtaf! Don't know what to do now I have requested copies for wage slip etc from my employer but they charge for each one. I've a guy calling me back before 3 supposedly too so try help.

Just give them the tracking number it's down to them to find it. Ask to speak to a manager lovely . Ps they were up to the 12 th on sat so that's a lie x

I spoke to someone at Concentrix last Wednesday and they looked at my documents and said all was ok and i will receive a letter this week to confirm. I called HMRC today as i have seen alot of people say once there case is closed HMRC do there rewal with 48 hours. HMRC have told me that as far as they are concerned Concentrix haven't updated yet and it cold take up to 2 weeks. They have said to call on 24th July if i haven't hard anything. Its such a pain in the butt. I want to call Concentrix to confirm what i was told last week but the hour wait and cost is putting me off the idea and I am considering waiting. On the other hand its driving me crazy not knowing what's happening.

Well he rang back as promised at 3 but only to tell me he had no new info and he'll call again in the morning Hmm am sitting an exam tomorrow and I can't concentrate

Hi i rang concentrix last night and confirmed everything and also advised of change in circs. Rang HMRC today no payment Schedule in place can anyone advise what this means? Thanks

No they havent been stopped been getting my normal weekly payments just when i rang HMRC they said i had no payment schedule as changes been done

I got a letter from
Concentrix saying my award notice has been amended as I didn't reply to the letter they sent ... My check was for childcare I sent receipts all
Signed for and well before my deadline ... So now my childcare payments have stopped and after calling 7 plus times and havin been on hold for an hour each time I had to hang up finally I got through eighth time after 58 minutes on hold ... Got through and lady on phone says you need to send invoices on company headed paper and bank statements my argument is they had my phone number why couldn't they phone me to request this info or why didn't they just put it on the letter they sent me that we need the following info before stopping my payments ... This company is incompetent full of crap

Can't believe more people are joining and more people have had money stopped Angry be persistent, don't back down. Morgan suffered longer than I did in this, but I went 3 months without a penny and fought them all the way so you ladies can too

FedUp that is terrible. I am more worried about my childcare check now. You sent receipts etc signed for and it still wasn't enough? My childcare receipts were received 18th June so I know I won't be on their system yet. I can't afford to be left hanging on hold to Concentrix to ask what is going on. I did ask HMRC last week as my deadline was 27th June but I have heard nothing from Concentrix...they said to just wait for the outcome! I know I have done nothing wrong and my costs are correct but these people seem to have the power to stop your money whenever they feel like it. Mine is paid monthly and is due next Thursday and I can't get any answers as to whether I will be paid. Or not. This wait is just awful.
