Great news Morgan. I am still waiting for my award notice although there was a payment of £640.10 in my account from them on Friday. Not touching it until it comes through. Spent enough on phonecalls to Concentrix and the tax office recently so not even going to try. Still waiting to hear from them regarding my letter of complaint.

Morgan97 · 13/07/2015 17:11

ScottishQuine the letter I got today said my award notice would follow! Why can't they send it all in one go? The guy on the phone told me I'd get a payment on Wednesday n I'd get a weekly payment each week after that! Good luck with the wait i hope it's not too long.

just wondering if anyone else was told they dont or that she wouldnt close case over phone and i would have to wait while they do the check but get told everything matches for renewal my docs were only scanned on system on saturday ??- getting a little paranoid !!!!,, no wonder though they way they treat people :-0

Scousejo1967 · 13/07/2015 17:59

Think it depends on the check mum. What is yours for ?

Scousejo1967 · 13/07/2015 18:01

My one rang today to see where there up to with scanning ?

stresshead99 · 13/07/2015 18:02

Morgan, congratulations! Your road has been the longest of us all. I'm sure you'll get back dated and you'll be queen for the day! We will all need each other in the months to come with all the benefit cuts and that. My payment went in today as usual. I know I should ring HMRC but I am just gonna wait a week and see if they return my award. Some one else was told 8 weeks after Concentrix make their decision. We will all have this again next year, once you're under their radar, there's no escape! How much is this seriously costing the government? Everyone seems to get their case closed eventually, thankfully. Cast the net wide enough they'll catch a few fish but I think it must be costing more to cast the net than it is to cook the damn fish! I guess I'll give HMRC until next week, then I'll have to ring.

mumdad5 · 13/07/2015 18:15

scousejo1967 mine is for husbands work hours/employment check my docs were signed for 11th n 12th june and told today they were scanned on the 11th july and returned so they were up to the 11th/12th on saturday if that helps x

Morgan97 · 13/07/2015 18:39

Ha ha stress queen for the day that made me smile. Treated dd to McDonald's her face was priceless.its been a long road for me but I'm proof that it can be sorted. I'd hate anyone else to go through what I've been through, the only good thing is I've lost weight ha.let us know how you get on when you ring. In the meantime we should try n keep in touch on here ill be looking into sorting a support group for now and next time and you can bet your life there will be a next time.

Scousejo1967 · 13/07/2015 19:26

I suppose they might have to check with his employer that's why they couldn't close on the phone x

stresshead99 · 13/07/2015 20:13

Morgan I'm kind of hoping it's all academic and I'll get my award notice and not have to ring them at all. After all, they did acknowledge my renewal back in May. The no change letter does not tell you to ring HMRC so how are we meant to know without forums like this? Morgan, you have been a tower of strength. I don't know how you've managed to get through it and support the rest of us. Babyalan, Fedup, everyone else, this has been a nightmare. All our situations are different but we're all in the same boat! Remember our troll? One day, God willing, we'll all get together, have a glass of wine and laugh our bits off about this. Maybe, one of us will win the euro and get us all together for a lovely spa day, all expenses paid. We can hug and cry and support each other in person. I am a dreamer! Good luck to every one. Stay in touch x

12fedup12 · 13/07/2015 20:48

We defiantly need to stay in touch this forum has provided so much support to each and every one of us and with everything Morgan has been through she is our tower of strength x

efergie82 · 13/07/2015 20:56

we should open like a fb page or something to keep in touch

IReallyAmHephzibah · 13/07/2015 21:09

Can I join?
I had my another adult living at my address letter last week.
I have already been investigated twice for this both times been found that I live with my children only.
So I thought ' oh I will give them a call and tell them nothing has changed in my circumstances since everything was ok'd by them last year so I'll just check if I do need to send all the paperwork in again '.
Well the bloke on the phone said that just because I was found to be living without another adult last year doesn't mean anything as they are looking at things differently this year and that as I have been investigated twice before he is stopping my money instantly!!!!!!

I was gobsmacked . My ex still has his name on the mortgage of the former marital home but that is my only link, other than the kids that I have with him. I pay the mortgage not him!!!

Scousejo1967 · 13/07/2015 21:15

Is it hmrc or Concentrix that stopped ur claim .

stresshead99 · 13/07/2015 21:27

I could be wrong, but I believe HMRC stop your payments and Concentrix investigate.

IReallyAmHephzibah · 13/07/2015 21:29

Letter from concentrix but hmrc man on phone .
I just don't get how my circumstances haven't changed but the 'rules' seemingly have !!!!!

Morgan97 · 13/07/2015 21:29

Ooooh stress, I remember the troll,we soon shot her down in flames didn't we lol.the strain was taken off me to support everyone else.12fedup all I've done is try n help, thank you all for your nice words they mean a lot to me. I'd like to say a BIG thank you to ADMIRAL for her generous support helping me when my close freinds disappeared, and her shameless name calling of hrmc lol.Im sad to see another new name today,IReallyAmHepzibah welcome to this crazy thread. I had a similar experience to you,I had the same letter in 2012 thought everything would be ok again this time but it wasn't. Send every single thing they ask for n what you haven't got send a covering letter explaining why. Get your mp involved and go to citizens advice but DON'T give up. Most people on this thread will have some advice to offer and the support is amazing.efergie facebook sounds like a good place to start.
