Thanks all.

Good luck to others still waiting

12fedup12 · 10/07/2015 16:01

Really am pleased for you jonny. just to let you know it took exactly a week for me to get the case closed letter. Haven't had my new award letter but know its done as phoned hmrc the day after and it had been done.
from seeing others posts on here it looks like they are getting the new award letters 2 - 3 after award has been finalised. I will post on here once I get mine

jonny82 · 10/07/2015 16:40

Ok thanks fedup12 , he said he will do my renewal there and then too.

So that should be done in fee days hopefully, just glad its closed and after all the week's and weeks of waiting it took less than 5 mins to do but the bloke who did it was just as happy for me as I was lol.

Anyway it seems if the proof is there and ok its quite quick to do. He said he Wil send me my closed case lette to me today.

12fedup12 · 10/07/2015 16:45

It's great when they tell you it's all done.

The man who did my case said the same thing to me as what you were told, that he would do my renewal and that the letter to say case closed would be sent the same day.
If you phone hmrc tomorrow they will more than likely tell you that your award has been finalised and might have your weekly figures for you.

Enjoy your weekend without the stress of this hanging over you!

Good stuff jonny82

ciaraDon · 10/07/2015 17:01

Hi again everyone, cannot believe the amount of new people joining this thread. Just an update on my own case and to show what an shower of liars Concentrix are.
Letter received 29th April. Docs returned 7th May. No decision letter. Award renewal letter came, renewed with Conxentrix on phone. Phoned again beginning of June, told case closed but wouldn't give decision on phone but told letter on way. Did not receive. Payments still going in monthly. Phoned Hmrc in desperation who told me Concentrix hadn't processed my renewal so they did it there and then and said it could take 10 weeks to process. That was 3 weeks ago but having heard feck all from Concentrix I phoned agsin this afternoon, 50 mins on hold. The advisor yook my details, went to look at my case, came back and said he would close it now with no changes and would contact Hmrc to inform them as renewal can't be finalised till Concentrix officially close.
So basically I've been told that many lies Im still waiting and won't be totally relieved till my award comes. Three months of stress and worry. Im glad to hear some of you are getting good news but never take their word on the phone until you have it in writing.

jonny82 · 10/07/2015 17:02

Thanks fedup will call em monday and hope by then it done.

Has yours been done Alexa ?

ciaraDon · 10/07/2015 17:19

jonny82 · 10/07/2015 17:23

I double checked lol. This morning about couple hours after being told closed the lady said the man this morning had closed it and done my renewal .

I always double check lol.

Scousejo1967 · 10/07/2015 17:54

Hey ciara still no nearer to even having my docs scanned hmrc didn't even acknowledge my 2 nd complaint. Still getting paid and had a provisional award for last year and this year from hmrc . Good job you phoned hon x

alexa15 · 10/07/2015 19:43

Yes jonny82 mines been done and dusted.rang hmrc today..they gave me a payment schedule..gone down 5 pound a week

jonny82 · 10/07/2015 20:48

Ok when was yours case closed Alexa.

They seem to renew quite quick once concentrix done there checks.

zolabud81 · 10/07/2015 21:34

Yeah as soon as the case is closed takes 24 hours to finalise the claims with hmrc and and 48 hours from when the concentrix case is closed for your hmrc to tell u your new payment schedule

12fedup12 · 10/07/2015 21:39

Zola's timescale is same as mine, the the next day for renewal to be finalised and 48 hours after case closed payment schedule is set and hmrc will be able to tell you over the phone what your payments are

jonny82 · 10/07/2015 21:44

Ok so hopefully Monday will know my new payments that's if they class a Sunday ?

kel65 · 11/07/2015 09:54

Hi anyone know best time to ring concentrix? i have tried various times of the day and keep getting put on hold up to a hour each time!! i have rang HMRC and they just told me i have to ring concentrix as apparently it shows this on there system

stresshead99 · 11/07/2015 10:09

Hi, I finally got a letter from concentrix this morning saying no change. 8 weeks of total anxiety and still no award notice! Good luck to all, hang in there. Morgan, my thoughts are with you xx

utdfan · 11/07/2015 10:10

I have phoned various times and have been on hold for an hour plus. The only exception was once when I rang them at 9am,I got straight through. I have rang at 9am since and not been able to get through. Does not seem like there us a 'good' time as they seem to be constantly busy.

Morgan97 · 11/07/2015 10:16

Thank you stress I'm still waiting all I've ever done since march is wait lol. I don't think there's a good time to ring hmrc or concentrix utdfan think its a case of pot luck but remember they tell lies just o get you off the phone as many will vouch for.

12fedup12 · 11/07/2015 10:19

That's great stresshead so pleased for you. Call hmrc your renewal should be finalised now x

kel65 · 11/07/2015 10:19

Ok thanks think i will just have to wait and wait until i hear by post ?they say 20 minute wait each time aswell, i rang at 19:55 one night and it said exactly the same there is a waiting time of 20 minutes (even though they close at 8pm ) im starting to wonder if there is anyone in the building Hmm

12fedup12 · 11/07/2015 10:20

Morgan really feel for you its terrible how long they are taking with the appeal and leaving you with no money. Every day I hope to see good news from you xxx

Morgan97 · 11/07/2015 10:44

Tell me about it 12fedup,they defiantly don't strain themselves. My appeal still hasn't been heard yet and the cut off date for my new claim is 14th July everyday I think I can't do this but I'm still here living the stressful life I need. I'd love George Osbourne to live a day of my life he'd last 5 minutes if that lol x x

babyalan13 · 11/07/2015 10:57

Wee update got my documents back today. 2 weeks after case was closed. I'll be keeping them somewhere safe now

stresshead99 · 11/07/2015 11:03

Oh Morgan, I feel the same about Cameron. I know he had a disabled child but I would bet my life he wasn't the one up all night, every night seeing to the alarms and checking the feed etc, then getting up at 5.30am for work. My ex is here a few nights a week and I told them that. I think it is easier just to not claim the bloody tax credits but they area life line to us all. I have been so miserable for 8 weeks, I just let my daughter go buy a sub way breakfast for two whole pounds . . . . .
