A letter from concentric part 4!

Hey girls thought I'd start a part 4 before part 3 reaches the limit. Anyone having received a letter from concentric or hrmc telling you they have evidence of you living with another adult please join us with your experiences, comments or support.

Yes but that's only because I've read through most of the comments on these threads and I'm sorry but i just do not believe that ALL of you are genuinely single and have just been "picked on" or singled out by tax credits. I understand that if a woman separates from her partner/husband then it's not easy to separate everything financially especially if you have a mortgage but still, plenty of people manage it.

What are your views on the childcare checks and the working hours checks cos it is a big sweep not just single parents!

I bite very easily haha or maybe she's actually on here because concentrix have contacted her also, in which case, SHES guilty, as they don't just throw accusations around without evidence and she's obviously been busted too x

You said the majority of cases in your initial post. Of course there's some who are fraudulent no one is saying any different but those of us accused falsely are pissed off about it as I'm sure you would be if the boot was on your foot. But Im guessing your motives for posting here aren't to be helpful so I'll leave you to it.

Hi. With reference to some of you having the childcare check, I had this a couple of years ago. I received this after my child started school and no longer needed childcare. I had to send proof of using a nursery. They wanted a letter, stamped with the nursery name on it, confirming how long I had used them and how much I paid. The nursery confirmed everything and all was well. The owner of the nursery told me they were doing checks because they had reason to believe some parents were enrolling their child at nursery to claim the extra in their tax credit claim, once they were getting the full money amount, they then cut the childcare down to minimum hours but still claimed the full money. Hope this can put some of your minds at rest.
