Hey girls thought I'd start a part 4 before part 3 reaches the limit. Anyone having received a letter from concentric or hrmc telling you they have evidence of you living with another adult please join us with your experiences, comments or support.

Good news baby ! And you also got the decision on the phone , when I rang they wouldn't give the devision but said it had been made and was with quality control and I would be getting a letter in the next few days. The letter never came and that was a fortnight ago so I would be no further forward if I hadnt phoned hmrc. Concentrix hadn't even informed them of my renewal which I had done with C on 17th May ffs. And this also (hopefully) meant my case is closed or they couldn't have accessed my file. I hope you get your letter but don't worry if you don't. Just phone hmrc in a few days and ask how your renewal is going as your check is closed. So glad someone has had some good news !

smokie19 · 25/06/2015 11:17

just tried ringing constantly engagd!!

zolabud81 · 25/06/2015 11:18

Ok Chrissy4321 I'm on phone to them now but been on for 1 hour and just spoke to them they said they are working on case now dated the 4th there a 3 week back log he said ours should be scanned on at the 30th of this month at the earliest

Chrissy4321 · 25/06/2015 11:20

Il maybe leave it until Thursday or Friday to ring. Would just like to know it isn't lost ????

babyalan13 · 25/06/2015 11:20

Does it sound strange but am still worried!! Nikki did you get a letter confirming case closed? How long did you wait. And was your case closed over the phone like mine?

zolabud81 · 25/06/2015 11:33

Agreed Chrissy4321 it's taking the piss now now I'm worried cuz my boss didn't sign the letter that he sent with my p60 ain't going to be good enough the bloke on the phone said did my boss sign the letter and is it on headed paper I said no its not on headed paper as it's only a small fish and chip shop and he didn't sign it he just printed it of his computer. I said I did send my p60 with it he said we'll depends on who looks at it if the letter will be ok. I'm so scared now got 6 weeks left of my pregnancy my blood pressure is sky high this is not doin me or my baby any good

Chrissy4321 · 25/06/2015 11:38

Aye will probably get some arsehole having a bad day and send it back. One of my accounts couldn't give a statement as
There was no transactions for the year. The guy on the phone told me no bother send the ones u use we wouldn't even be interested in the others but il probably get penalised for not sending all info. :/

zolabud81 · 25/06/2015 11:42

I didn't send any bank satements as I get paid cash but they have my p60 and this letter it has his phone number on it

Chrissy4321 · 25/06/2015 11:44

Some of these checks seem easy solved but they still ask for bank statements. A simple check could determine a parent or sibling living at same address or an employer check for hours. To send bank statement seems a fishing exercise to see if they can justify a cut in payments maybe. See what people spend their money on. Yer man Iain Duncan Smith and George Osborne want to cut it all back

zolabud81 · 25/06/2015 11:47

When I first got the letter I phoned them and said I get paid cash do I need to send bank statements they send no send a letter from employer and p60 does anyone think Wat I sent will be ok I'm at my wits end

Fedup123245 · 25/06/2015 11:49

There's quiet a few of us whose were signed for on 8th so hopefully get a decision soon ...

Chrissy4321 · 25/06/2015 11:53

It's worrying as you ring and some one tells you to do something and it will be fine but when u ring later there is no trace of what Was said in your call. So leaves you in limbo til
They are scanned and looked at. And they seem to be able to get away with telling lies. They say your payments won't stop but a few on here have had them stop with no warning

jonny82 · 25/06/2015 11:53

I didn't send bank statements.

I called like you and he just said send a year's payslips which we did along with a letter from employer he never mentioned p60 but we sent it anyway.

If they can't figure out she works above 30 hours from that they shouldn't be in the job.

zolabud81 · 25/06/2015 12:05

So does an one think my evidence will be fine my p60 and a printed letter not on headed paper as it's a small fish and chip shop and my boss didn't sign it but it has his contact details the bloke did say that it should be ok as I sent p60 with and they may have to phone my employer any advice or thoughts would be amazing

babyalan13 · 25/06/2015 12:14

I think it does depend on who looks at case. My letter was signed but I do work for a huge department throughout UK. Would it be possible for him to print again and sign it and you could re post. And then ring concentrix to say you have done that? How many hours are you working? Like my old job in spar didn't have headed paper or even a payslip!!! I got paid cash in hand. Am sure there is thousand of people who work in wee shops and stuff. When I phoned few weeks ago I was worried cause I didn't have time sheets. And he assured me they understand that every employer works differently and thats why they ask for loads of stuff to ensure they get something back they don't need everything. I hope this helps I understand how stressed you are. I've been put on anti depressants and sleeping tablets and assigned of work due to this

Chrissy4321 · 25/06/2015 12:15

It all seems so random Zola looks like we just have to wait and hope it goes on by middle of next week. It's unfair they give us a timescale and then just expect us to wait so long. The guy told me if anything is needed they write
Out and don't ring. That's what worries me as it seems to take weeks to receive their letters. And hmrc are no help they just keep referring you back to them jokers.

jonny82 · 25/06/2015 12:15

Zola your p60 shows your total amount earned for the year.

They can average how many hours worked through the year using that.

It is a working hours check you having yes ?

Do you understand what I mean Zola.

zolabud81 · 25/06/2015 12:18

Yeah it was letter about my employment asking what hours I do

jonny82 · 25/06/2015 12:21

Do you do 16 hours or above or 30 hours or above Zola?

zolabud81 · 25/06/2015 12:23

I do 24 hours a week

jonny82 · 25/06/2015 12:26

Right so your p60 can be worked out to show you do them hours.

I'm not exactly sure how they do it but they use your total income as on p60 divide it somehow.

zolabud81 · 25/06/2015 12:27

So u think is hold be ok

12fedup12 · 25/06/2015 12:29

I am having employment check signed for my stuff on 5th I have sent a letter from employer on headed paper signed by bursar confirming hours, letter from 2013 when my contract hours changed, original contract, p 60 & a years payslips

zolabud81 · 25/06/2015 12:29

I earn 8072.90 divide that by 52 eqauls 155.24 I earn 156 quid a week but remember 6 months of last year we was on lesser hourly rate then minimum wage went up

jonny82 · 25/06/2015 12:30

I think yes.

If you say you work 24 hours Zola then your income will show that.

What was the income on your p60 Zola ? Do you remember
