Hey girls thought I'd start a part 4 before part 3 reaches the limit. Anyone having received a letter from concentric or hrmc telling you they have evidence of you living with another adult please join us with your experiences, comments or support.

I definitely didn't receive a professional notice! Which is strange

babyalan13 · 24/06/2015 22:56

Did anyone else get a provisional notice??

12fedup12 · 24/06/2015 22:59

Probably nothing to worry as you are getting your payments maybe is stuck in the snail mail service they use. I called hmrc on 8/6/15 after the concentrix letter and queried that I hadn't received my final award notice (they never mentioned concentrix looking at my award) and was told it was still processing and would be done by 10th July so yours would be same date as mine.

babyalan13 · 24/06/2015 23:04

Aye that's what he said! Fingers crossed!!

smokie19 · 24/06/2015 23:21

Aww good morgan. Pleased you got that!

Tango78 · 25/06/2015 07:10

So pleased you got your child benefit Morgan x
i haven't had my renewal for 15/16 either and Concentrix wrote my decision letter on 11th June. Phoned HMRC on Tues and was told it can take 10 weeks and it's still processing. I was told if they're doing checks they have to wait for the checks to be completed first.

Tango78 · 25/06/2015 07:12

Forgot to say I renewed online on 27th April before I received Concentrix letter

jonny82 · 25/06/2015 08:08

For future ref what is the best option to press when trying to get through I press 4 but always end up waiting for a while even if I call dead on 8.

The bloke talks for 2 mins which I think pushes you right back .

babyalan13 · 25/06/2015 08:23

Am on hold now 13 minutes!!! Fingers crossed! Don't even no why am phoning. Topped up probably for no reason

12fedup12 · 25/06/2015 08:27

Keeping everything crossed for you baby!

I wonder if they have reduced number of staff answering the phones so that they can work on clearing the back log

babyalan13 · 25/06/2015 08:29

Probably!! Ud think it would be quieter at this time! But not looking hopeful

12fedup12 · 25/06/2015 08:31

Previously when phoning at 8am the calls were answered within 5 minutes, I haven't called since last Friday so don't know how long people have been holding for in the mornings this week.

babyalan13 · 25/06/2015 08:37

Well am now 27 minutes!!!

12fedup12 · 25/06/2015 08:39

Blimey that is a long time

12fedup12 · 25/06/2015 08:54

Are you still on hold?

babyalan13 · 25/06/2015 08:57

Yes!!!47 minutes!!!: (

12fedup12 · 25/06/2015 08:59

Fingers crossed won't be much longer

utdfan · 25/06/2015 09:02

I was on hold an hour yesterday, twice and didn't get through either time. Trying again now been on hold 12 mins so far.

babyalan13 · 25/06/2015 09:04

Going to miss Jeremy kyle at this rate!! Lol 53 minutes. Its actually quicker to ring hmrc!!think might ring them the next time this crowd is useless!! Just shows how many others are phoning

babyalan13 · 25/06/2015 09:05

Aww Jes I've no chance then! They probably not answering calls!! Would be interesting to know if they make money in people like us trying to phone and not getting through
