Nikki, only thing they said to me yesterday was systems down n ring hmrc in regards to my final renewals letter which is a waste of time cos no ones made a decision, no mention of when I ll get documents back even though I' asked twice!
Tango that sounds like good news for you but I don't get why they ve referred me to hmrc if concentric make the final decision. Am I just being stupid here?

Scousejo1967 · 11/06/2015 19:20

The lady told me they take 300 calls per shift each leaving about an hour to make decisions . They only looked at my statements last wed and git the letter today saying they need them reprinting . The 30 day turn around from them scanning to recieving a descion is now out of the water as hmrc have granted them an extension so in my case could be at least another 6 weeks after they get my new bank statements . Absolute joke and give me a turn Around of less than a week to get them reprinted bad sent to Belfast what a piss take .

Hello group! Ive been following this post since I got my letter about 4 weeks ago (another adult supposed to be living with me). I wasn't phased at first but then realised that my childrens dad is still on the mortgage, so is his paye registered here along with an old bike insurance and pension!. I still get letters for the old owners (ive owned the house for 12 years!!) and my mum has acted guarantor) They asked me for divorce papers (ive never been married!!) maintenance agreements - ive nothing in writing. so sent what I had and explained why I couldn't give them this info. so looking at this, I panicked soo bloody much that I haven't slept and I was signed off work for a week because I was a bloody mess!!! I just wanted to give some hope... I got my documents back 2 days ago with a letter saying that they will write to me shortly with a decision (!!) but today I got a letter saying my claim wouldn't change. this is a massive sigh of relief for me and hopefully I'll sleep tonight. my message is don't give up, this thread of support is amazing. they don't have the right to do this - its not right how they are treating single parents trying to do their best!

Kittykat60 · 11/06/2015 20:23

Ahh that's great news dribble! Can I ask when did they receive your documents?

ciaraDon · 11/06/2015 20:24

Great news Dribble , yours was sorted very quickly.

babyalan13 · 11/06/2015 20:31

Very quickly!! That's great!! U must be pleased! Hope for us all girls!

ciaraDon · 11/06/2015 21:51

Im just worried because my decision letter is taking so long since my docs were returned over a month ago.Dribble heard within 2 days.Everyone is having different experiences.

babyalan13 · 11/06/2015 22:08

Ciara phone tomorrow and ask why that is? Say your friend had a response in a couple of days! See what they say

Morgan97 · 11/06/2015 22:17

Dribble that's fab news, ladies please try not to worry so much, just plan ahead n save a bit just in case. I'm going to appeal my case I just can't give up its hard but I owe it to my dd to fight until I can't fight anymore

My paper work was a mess there was about 40 sheets of invoices booking forms bank statements although I highlighted the payments. None of it matches so they will have a game doing mine. They won't be able to do it over the phone!
I guess mine will be a little longer yet !

ciaraDon · 11/06/2015 22:35

Baby I think its pot luck , some dont even get a decision letter just their finalised award but I will phone tomorrow.
Morgan I hope you get a break soon you deserve one pet x

Tango78 · 11/06/2015 23:14

CiaraDon I would phone tomorrow for an update as you've waited as long as what I have and hopefully they'll close your case too.
Morgan I would appeal if I was in your situation too as it's so unfair what they've done to you keep fighting.

Kittykat60 · 12/06/2015 07:55

Tango was yours the other adult letter Hun? I'm sorry I'm struggling to keep up with everyone's case as there are that bloody many of us!

nikkif80 · 12/06/2015 08:13

God I typed a long reply and it wouldn't post

dribblebucket · 12/06/2015 09:10

kittykat60 I sent my docs on 15th may, they were signed for by concentrix on 18th may - my deadline was 26th. I got my docs back a couple of days ago and the decision letter 2 days after that. i hope you get everything sorted morgan, it makes me sick to the stomach that they can do this

maryelizabeth71 · 12/06/2015 09:12

I wonder if they are working to deadline order rather than received order then?

And Nikki we are all waiting with bated breath as to what your post was about!GrinGrin

nikkif80 · 12/06/2015 09:21

Sorry my phone was playing up so had to wait till I got to work!

I rang and he said someone is working on my case today and it was locked so he couldn't access the info.
said it should be finalised in couple days unless they need more info. If I ring back couple days should know more.

I said my payments are out he asked why I said I estimate school holidays only and its never 100% accuarate. I asked as I will probably owe few hundred what will happen he said they can take it off award monthly. I asked if over 12 months he said if I ring HMRC they will tell me payment schedule once sorted.

So ill ring Tuesday to see what the crack is and then ill probably chase HMRC once he says they've made their decision.

my docs haven't come back he said they were posted once scanned around 20th May.

SO im quite sure my next payment 23rd June will be lower so just got to budget for that until I know exact amount!

Ill keep you posted next week

Scousejo1967 · 12/06/2015 09:45

They don't tell you if they need anymore info when it's scanned they look at the case and then decide . My deadline was end if may they looked at 3 rd June got letter yesterday asking for more info. There is no logic to the way the look at cases the lady told me it's based on the individual as if you have mire I hind calls you will have less time to look at cases.. It's a joke complain to hmrc by letter you will get there quicker as they email them and some get compensation for Cost of calls letters and distress

nikkif80 · 12/06/2015 09:55

They must have looked at mine prior to now as when I last rang they had sent me an extra letter but it was only asking about a tick box, so when I last rang and told them I had no changes they must have sent for decision.
Mine were scanned 20th May. Working on it today as it seems.

my tax credit renewal was done 28th April so its about 6-7 weeks to date and was given a 10 week timescale.

maryelizabeth71 · 12/06/2015 10:11

What was your deadline Nikki?

nikkif80 · 12/06/2015 10:15

mary

My deadline was 6th June, original letter dated 20th April, and it arrived mid May. Renewal was done online 28th April.

Maybe I should give them a deadline to act!!

maryelizabeth71 · 12/06/2015 10:19

Mine was 4/6 so hopefully they have or are looking at mine :-) apparently it was in the right queue yesterday!!!!

nikkif80 · 12/06/2015 10:23

I haven't had docs back yet but they said they were posted few weeks back.
But im losing track of what they said and when!

Tango78 · 12/06/2015 10:48

Hi Kitty yes mine was for another adult. the only other adult that lives with me is my eldest son who turned 18 in April who they know about because he was on my tax credit award until Feb this year as he was in Ft education and then started an apprenticeship and I informed HMRC straight away as I didn't want to be over paid. It's ridiculous and Concentrix don't seem to work in any particular order just pot luck depending on who you speak to!

izzy76 · 12/06/2015 12:29

Hiya ladies i tried ringing C again today but as per normal their system is down ffs i am so pissed off that i want to start a petition but need your help with wording,This is what ive got so far can any of you add more to it please or do you think its a bad idea?

Concentrix have been sending single parents letters stating they had "evidence" that another adult is living with them tho 99% of the people i have spoken to are single parents.Concentrix wont disclose how they get that info and then its up to the single parents to prove they are indeed single and if they dont reply with the info within a very short time frame(sometimes impossible to do)then there child tax credits STOP!

When ever some one rings them their system is always down and it will be back on at 3pm leaving it impossable for parents to ring as its the school run concentrix are not helpful at all and wont give proper answers to our questions always stating there is a backlog .

Then there is all the evidence we have to send including 12 months bank statements, rental agreement bills, childminder letter and proof of hours it then costs the parents up to £10 to send the proof recorded. Most people i have spoken to have not had the money to post it off and had to borrow money to do so.

thats all i have as gone brain dead
thank you ladies
