Hi Tango. Sorry to hear you're no further forward.

Ouchbloodyouch · 10/06/2015 20:09

ciara i have a limited company. I do minimal work and sub contract the rest (I'd like to do more but two SN children and I am the sole carer) my employees earnt more than me!

ciaraDon · 10/06/2015 20:12

Ouch just explain it all briefly in a covering letter that's all you can do.

Ouchbloodyouch · 10/06/2015 20:13

mary I have an odd business! Basically I manage property renovations for the rental market so I call in tradespeople oversee the work... I couldn't quantity the hours. Hindsight. The reason I am doing this is to get off fucking state help because I hate the intrusion. Much as I am grateful for the help (and I really am)

Kittykat60 · 10/06/2015 20:14

Hi tango, have they ever told you you had to ring hmrc instead of concentrix?

Ouchbloodyouch · 10/06/2015 20:15

Thanks ciara I will. Do you think it would help if I sent in invoices from tradespeople along with the covering letter? ? Or wait until asked?

ciaraDon · 10/06/2015 20:18

I would keep it as simple as possible at first. Send in your documents and letter , best not yo over elaborate as I think it confuses them. If you send in docs before the deadline your payments will continue and if they need more info they will let you know.

Ouchbloodyouch · 10/06/2015 20:26

Thank you. It says that if the payslips do not detail my hours then I need to send in additional info. My payslips simply state hours (not start and finish whose do?) . Shall I just send those in recorded delivery and wait for a response?

ciaraDon · 10/06/2015 20:28

If the payslips state hours just send those in. Have they asked for bank statements ?

babyalan13 · 10/06/2015 20:29

Aye was told the same!! Its a waiting game. But I do think best to phone once a week for an update! I received my concentrix letter after renewal to. Thinking I done my renewal wrong that's why there investigating

babyalan13 · 10/06/2015 20:30

My payslips don't say hours!! So am definitely screwed!! The only thing I have stating hours is a letter from employer

ciaraDon · 10/06/2015 20:33

Baby don't worry the employers letter should do . Did your renewal come at the same time as it does every year ?

ciaraDon · 10/06/2015 20:37

Baby they are investigating everyone who claims .

nikkif80 · 10/06/2015 20:48

My renewal and concentrix letter were both dated 20th April. I renewed online 28th April but concentrix letter was dated 20th April but came third week may.
They had all my docs 20th may I've been chasing weekly.
Yesterday they said another letter was posted about this tick box and changes even though I know for sure I ticket there was no changes.

Hey ho I'll ring next week and the week after and blah blah. I also rang tax credits direct they have my renewal but not processed no flag on holding it up just not processed yet concentrix said the opposite my renewal will be processed after investigation

Sick to death of it now!

nikkif80 · 10/06/2015 20:49

I've also heard concentrix dealing with cases that have red line across front of renewal
As some renewals have not got the line mine has !

ciaraDon · 10/06/2015 20:56

I think the red line means you can now renew online.

ciaraDon · 10/06/2015 20:57

Feel like I know way more than I ever bloody wanted to about Concentrix :(

Kittykat60 · 10/06/2015 20:57

Yes Ciara I heard that. Mine had a red line so did a friends but as yet she's had no concentrix letter

Kittykat60 · 10/06/2015 20:59

I'm sure the money concentrx are being paid( to stop claims seemingly!) could be spent in a far better way for the country!

Morgan97 · 10/06/2015 21:01

Stresshead you can only send what you have, they change their rules all the time, yes we are easy targets and they don't care about the consequences of their actions.mumdad yes the support in here is amazing its good to know we can all lean on each other. Izzy I really hope you're feeling better now although this stress can't be helping and thank you for your kind words, baby just bombard them with anything you can lay your hands on and please ladies I can't stress enough try n put some money aside just in case, and if its good news you will have a bit extra. Thank you all again for listening to me,I'm still so stressed with my own situation but although it makes me sad so many new ladies are joining this thread I feel a bit better knowing I'm not alone if that makes sense

OP posts:
nikkif80 · 10/06/2015 21:02

I think there has to be a better way of paying people tax credits so maybe pay in arrears rather than advance!

Ok that red line thing seems like it could be online renewal ??

Ouchbloodyouch · 10/06/2015 21:11

Did anyone else get the letter after reporting a change in circs?

babyalan13 · 10/06/2015 21:25

I've done that much research I could probably get a job with them!! Lol

Morgan97 · 10/06/2015 21:49

Ha ha baby you and me both, and I bet we would be more sympathetic as well

OP posts:
babyalan13 · 10/06/2015 21:54

Exactly!! Every time I ring its a fella!! Probably all young boys working for them. Aww whole thing is stressful. I just want to hear of someone who has went through it all from start to finish. Everything all seems to be up in the air.
