Hey ladies just realised you can't reply on the other thread about this not sure why,so thought I'd start a new one hope you all see this

OP posts:
Kittykat60 · 10/06/2015 19:31

I got it just before the concentrix one Ciara, but I'm sure the envelope address was for concentrix

babyalan13 · 10/06/2015 19:33

Hopefully everyone on here receives any final and hopefully positive outcomes they post it up! Try and give us all hope! Its good to see a final timeframe to

ciaraDon · 10/06/2015 19:33

MaryE , that seems to be it. Not that renewing with either one seems to be any quicker.

maryelizabeth71 · 10/06/2015 19:36

No. Once a check is opened that has to finish before the claim can be finalised for the year.... Thats what I understand anyway.

And all these letters have been sent out in a short timeframe so they will have lots of responses again in a short time frame. Hence the delays I would imagine.

I know its easy to say but please don't panic!!

babyalan13 · 10/06/2015 19:37

Hmrc received my renewal on 1/5/15. But haven't heard anything! Is that because of the concentrix check? Because concentrix boy said today a provisional notice should still go out!

Kittykat60 · 10/06/2015 19:38

So what's the point of ringing hmrc? Surely they can't tell you anything either?!

maryelizabeth71 · 10/06/2015 19:39

Yes a provisional award for next year continues. But last years award can't be finalised or the claim renewed properly until the check is finished and the renewal processed

babyalan13 · 10/06/2015 19:40

That's why I didn't bother!! Wasn't going to waste the parents phone bill on that 2! Lol

maryelizabeth71 · 10/06/2015 19:43

Kittykat, I would call HMRC and ask them who you need to do the renewal with.

I got my renewal and called HMRC to renew, they said they couldnt as my case had been passed to Concentrix (first I'd heard of them)

I called concentrix who said they couldnt deal with my renewal as it had been sent out before the case was sent to them.

So I called HMRC back and did the renewal with them!!!!!

Keep records of correspondence and phonecalls!!

Ouchbloodyouch · 10/06/2015 19:43

Hi all. Another one here joining the shitting themselves list. I've been queried on the working hours. I work 16 hours per week. The trouble is I am the employee of my own company. I don't keep timesheets. I can't prove any of my hours. I am far too scared to ring. Its funny timing that I received the letter just after I reported that my child is now receiving DLA...
What the fuck do I do? Go to my MP first? I suffer from anxiety as it is..

ciaraDon · 10/06/2015 19:45

It's just a waiting game now girls. I keep telling myself I've nothing to worry about as I've done nothing wrong but it's still so stressful.

Ouchbloodyouch · 10/06/2015 19:46

Im in a right fucking state now Sad

maryelizabeth71 · 10/06/2015 19:47

I would break down how your working hours add up to 16. Eg time with clients, time in appointments, paperwork, admin, sales, travelling etc etc etc

Depending on what it is you do.

Pointless going to yourMP at this stage as HMRC have always done and are entitled to do checks.

ciaraDon · 10/06/2015 19:47

Ouch just send a letter outlining your hours and explain you've no time sheets. Lots of jobs don't have time sheets.

Kittykat60 · 10/06/2015 19:48

Thanks maryelizabeth, welcome to the group ouch, like the way you've put it, I'd just do some basic wage slips if they want them, it's bloody crazy all this stuff they are asking us for.

babyalan13 · 10/06/2015 19:48

Am the same!! I had no time sheets was really panicking. But felt better after phoning because he said they understand not every employment uses them. So a letter explaining this helps and letter from employer as wells

ciaraDon · 10/06/2015 19:49

Isn't this terrible the state they have folk in ?

Kittykat60 · 10/06/2015 19:51

I feel like going on the sick, can't bloody concentrate on work at the minute

babyalan13 · 10/06/2015 19:52

Its awful. I check my bank every Wednesday with servere panic! Think I might go to doctors :(

ciaraDon · 10/06/2015 19:55

Mine goes in monthly , my first since the check went in as normal but my next isn't due till end of June.

Ouchbloodyouch · 10/06/2015 19:55

The thing is I am my own employer! As for working hours does mentally thinking about work every hour every day count? Because if thats the case I am working a 100 hour week... where do I draw the line?

Kittykat60 · 10/06/2015 19:55

It's terrible babyalan, I'm the same I can't wait for a Tuesday so I can check pending transactions for the following day

ciaraDon · 10/06/2015 19:57

Ouch are you registered self employed ?

Tango78 · 10/06/2015 20:01

Hello again ladies I received my renewal before my concentrix letter and had already renewed online 2 days before receiving the letter from Concentrix and I too have not had any new award notice. My letter was dated 27th April docs received 5th May and returned back 29th May and am still waiting for a decision. My payments are monthly and I have received my payment as normal today. I tried to ring yesterday but their systems were down so still none the wiser but last time I did speak to someone I was told they had a backlog which just prolongs the agony Sad

Scousejo1967 · 10/06/2015 20:05

Renewal online is same for both hmrc and concentrix
