My boss has put I have worked 29 hours for the last 12 months down on the letter they requested.
Tax credits are saying that I put down 25!

My hours differ week to week. I'm going to get a massive fine aren't i Sad

I still haven't received a decision letter so decided to phone again today. I've been told my claim is still being looked at and I should receive a letter before the 18th of June. So another 2 weeks of stress and worry in store. Quick efficient service. Not.Sad

Sloulou they could possibly want my blood cos I've nothing left to give them ha ha. Mypubes tax credits are liars they told me they rang my employers but they didn't n I know that for sure.and ciaraDon don't hold your breath cos they definitely don't rush themselves....short staffed, untrained staff,decent wages n bonuses hey give me a job

Morgan the staff don't seem to know what they are doing any time I've phoned. Perfectly pleasant but obviously not well trained, they've been told set phrases and answers to give to overwrought or anxious callers as Im sure they are aware of the many complaints unfolding over this whole shambles of a system. How you are coping I don't know as I'm only living with the fear of having my money stopped when you have actually had it happen. Keep your pecker up !

Thank you ciaraDon,yes you're right they don't know what they're doing,I won't ring them for fear of crying or worse swearing. I'm not coping I'm just taking every day as it comes,I can't live a normal life anymore,I'm getting deeper n deeper into debt,the person whos house I share want their money I need to feed my dd I can't do both properly. The longer this goes on the worse I feel but I can't give up I owe it to my dd to keep going

Can you get a crisis loan to tide you through this ? Have CAB or Gingerbread been any use ?

Ciaradon when was your deadline? My deadline 18th June. But they signed for documents yesterday. Am curious to no how long I'll be waiting

babyalan who knows what will happen I can't send anything else I haven't got anything left to send,as to getting it backdated well I just don't know anymore I don't trust them they're liars,they told e they rang my employer but guess what .....they didn't its just a game to them

Baby my deadline was 28th of May. I got everything in asap at the start of May because I didnt want to be waiting an extra month for the decision.But it looks like they process things to suit themselves however I was told they haveoto give a decision within 30 days of docs being returned. Not holding out much hope for that.

No ciaraDon they definitely don't rush themselves at all,I've written them five letters already I know they've got them cos they've been signed for no reply from any of them there's no communication between different departments they just haven't got a clue.

Really strange question but would concentrix investigate if there may be an under payment!?!! I am convinced Ilthey owe me money! I've done tax credits calculator and turn to us calculator and I really think they have under played working tax!!!

Not tried gingerbread babyalan,but ill have a look.dont think they would investigate an under payment unless you queried it yourself.

Feeling really glad I found this thread. Received my letter a few weeks ago. Going through a terrible time the now so that really was the last thing I needed. Claiming I had another adult living with me, which itself is just a joke.
I gave them a phone explaining I dont receive some of the letters they want, was told that was ok. So I've sat tonight getting everything together to send recorded delivery tomorrow. I'm trying to not let it bother me as I've done nothing so just hoping the whole thing passes fast! X

Hi to all on hear. I'm just another single parent who has received "the letter" mine is asking me for all my employment details. .The usual 12 months of bank statements contracts,wage slips etc. It makes you worry and the tone of the letter...well !! I have just renewed my tax credits stating that I now work 30 hours and am wondering if that's why I have received it. They had me down as 19 hours which increased to 24. I didn't think it mattered so didn't inform them. In January I was contracted to do 29.5 and I claim an extra hour each week for a before school that I take (I'm a teaching assistant ) and as you can never speak to them on the phone I renewed on line...but as I found out you can not select half hours..only whole hours. So I put down thirty. Worried I'm going to be in trouble for that as I've discovered you get slightly more money for working 30 plus hours. I do work that....week in week out. But as contract only shows 29.5 I'm worried I've made a big mistake. I've sent all they have asked for. Including time sheets with these extra hours on and covering letter from school. So fingers crossed. Can't believe the most vulnerable are being targeted! !!! Petition signed.
