ONE STILLBIRTH / TWO MISCARRIAGES IN NINE MONTHS.

I had a miscarriage at the weekend, this is my second since Feb, we are obviously devestated after losing our son last Sep. The miscarriages are causing us a great deal of concern, not only due to the fact that we have lost our babies but the fact that both happened exactly when the second period would have been due. We are thinking very carefully about trying again because we can't go on like this. Has anyone out there experienced this kind of problem? I carried my son full term without much problem until the end, and we just don't understand why we are losing our babies in the second month.

Hi. I conceived my eldest DS straight after a mc. My other DS was conceived about two months after a mc - the only two times I have stayed pregnant.I have had 4 mcs and when seeing a consultant about it he said that the left over preganancy hormones (after the mcs) had probably helped me stay pregnant. So hope it works for you too. Having read the thread though I think you should get to the drs staight away. I had low dose aspirin the second time as was seeing the consultant by then and he thought it would help. Really really hope things go well for you.

Lewei - hope all goes well for you this time. I delivered the baby for a friend who had had 4 miscarriaged and had fallen pregnant unexpectedly before having more investigations done. She sailed through her pregnancy. Find out about the low dose aspirin soon.

Fantastic, I had ds1 straight afer an m/c and he's now 10 and gorgeous. Love to you all, so pleased for you.

I became pregnant three months after my m/c and d&c, and had a totally problem-free pregnancy.

My ds was conceived (though for the life of me I can't remember how/when) a month after I miscarried. It is and will be scary and you won't believe it until you hold that bundle in your arms, but we'll all be rooting for you every step of the way. Good luck

I am feeling very happy and positive, i am taking low dose aspirin, so fingers crossed that this helps. We will be on holiday when the second cycle is due so we will be relaxing. We haven't told any family or friends ( apart from all on mumsnet of course) we wat to see if we make it to twelve weeks this time, plus we can;t be bothered with all the "i told you so's " if anything does go wrong, but i feel very nauseous and rather busty and i don't mind one little bit.

I am doing just fine, a few niggly pains today, but i am putting them down to trapped wind after eating half a jar of pickled onions!!!!!! Dp says that i am acting the same a i did in my first pregnancy, according to him i am being very moody. Personally i wish he would stop asking me if i am ok, if i move he asks if i have a pain, if i go to the loo he asks if i am bleeding. I know he is only showing his love and concern but he is driving me NUTS!!!!!!!!!! I would have something to complain about if he didn't care at all, wouldn't i? Thanks to you both Brookstone and Quackers i am sure your positive thoughts helped along with a couple of bottles of wine I will keep you all posted.

Wonderful news, lewei, many congratulations

Hello ladies! just a message to say its all good! im now 10 months pregnant after 2 miscarriages and just wanted to let you know that it does come good! i have a condition called funnelling cervix and have had to have a stitch inserted to keep it closed! im still waiting to get this baby out and i cant quite believe that in a few days or even hours i will be a mother! im so so happy and im just glad theres other women out there who don't give up! Even though i've got swollen ankles,bad back and constipation im excited yippee!!!!
