Hi ladies! Our last thread was automatically closed (again) because we reached the 1,000 post limit (twice!). I was hoping we would be able to start a new thread called First Pregnancy Post-MMC, but unfortunately we are not all quite there yet (BUT some of us are!! congrats!!!). I know we will all be pregnant someday soon and that this will end up being a lucky thread! In the meantime, I hope you will all join me as we continue on this journey together. You have all been an invaluable source of inspiration, support, and kindness for me and I want to thank you for making me feel less alone in this. This thread and the ladies on it have been a source of inspiration for me, which is why I created this blog to help other women find information and support after miscarriage: mcandbeyond.weebly.com/

About me, for any newcomers: 31 years old, first pregnancy ended in an MMC in February at 12 weeks (baby passed at nine), D&C the next day, found out five weeks later that it was a partial molar pregnancy and had follow-up with CX hospital until mid-May. Second early MC in April (we weren't supposed to be getting pregnant because of the molar, but didn't know about it at the time). Now TTC again nearly four months after the first MMC and so so ready for a baby!

@sadtoday21 I’m going to take your advice and get some EPO for next cycle! I don’t produce a lot of EWCM so I need all the help I can get.

BabyPending · 03/07/2019 20:41

@sadtoday21 thank you so much for the heads up. I do tend to normal get EWCM but only for about a day but nothing this cycle yet probably because it's the first after MC. What is EPO? This sounds like my better option. Sorry if this has been discussed before!

Kiki061190 · 04/07/2019 06:51

It’s looking like confirmed O this morning ladies! I’ve given it my best shot this month so I’ll just have to wait and see what happens!

@Kiki061190 wow amazing graph! Wishing you the best of luck this month, really looks promising!!! We need yours and your partners stamina I'm going to work towards your DDT schedule next month haha!

@Catconfusion sorry to come back again on this...looks like it will be an anovulatory cycle as I'm usually spot on day 16 and I'm 18 now with no rise and a slight drop again. I've woken up to god awful pain across my lower abdomen now, did your pain move from the side across your uterus? It has me almost doubled over in pain!!! I feel silly calling the doctors but I feel like I'm getting close :( xx

SunStruck · 04/07/2019 07:18

@Kiki061190 fingers and toes crossed for you, chart looks great! 😄

Catconfusion · 04/07/2019 08:03

Looking good @Kiki061190

@BabyPending it was mainly one sided but it did move to the other side at times. I wouldn’t rule O out yet even if it is later than usual but the pain suggests your body is still healing. If it continues and no O I’d see the doctor. As soon as AF came mine turned into pretty mild AF cramps. I think since you’re doubled over worth getting it checked out.

I’m really hoping mine isn’t like this again. I’ll certainly see the doc if it is. I’m cd 13 now so far so good but my ovaries don’t even usually think about ovulating until day 20. Xx

sadtoday21 · 04/07/2019 10:09

@Kiki061190 are you going to keep temping now that O is confirmed?

@BabyPending EPO = evening primrose oil. I bought the liquid melon/lemon flavoured one from Boots and it tastes pretty good. I take two spoonfuls every day starting from end of AF and have had 7-9 days of EWCM on it!

Kiki061190 · 04/07/2019 11:39

@sadtoday21 I’m defo going to keep the temping going. I’m so used to doing it now but I just enter the data in each morning and forget about it so I don’t get too obsessive over temp fluctuations! How many days dpo are you now?

sadtoday21 · 04/07/2019 12:37

@kiki061190 I’m 10 dpo today and not feeling hopeful at all. BFN this morning and no symptoms. To be fair, DH was away on work travel during my fertile week, so our closest bd session was five days before O. I know that makes this month a long shot anyway, but I feel like it’s never going to happen for me.

@sadtoday21 I completely understand. TTC is hard! Will your OH be around your fertile week next cycle? I’m trying to forget about the whole thing each day and thankfully July is rather busy. I’m not overly hopeful about this month for some reason. I’ve had bad cramps from about 2 days before O and still all the way up until today!

Ginmonkey84 · 05/07/2019 14:25

Just wanted to pop in and say thanks so much for all the support you ladies provided. 3 weeks and 4 days after my miscarriage I got my BFP this morning at 10 DPO. I’m in absolute shock but just going with the flow. I really wish all you girls the best and really can’t wait to see more and more of you get your happy ending ❤️ I will pop in to check how yous are getting on. I’m so cautious right now but can only hope and pray this baby is my take home baby x

Kiki061190 · 08/07/2019 06:23

Good morning ladies!

How was your weekends?

@Catconfusion what cycle day are you now?

@sadtoday21 did you test again?

I’m currently 7dpo and my temp has sky rocketed today. I genuinely thought it was faulty when i saw the thermometer 😂

3204ECL · 08/07/2019 06:50

@Kiki061190 wow your chart is looking fantastic! xxx

Kiki061190 · 08/07/2019 06:58

Thanks @3204ECL I’m still trying to get used to reading the charts. How have you been?

bananamonkey · 08/07/2019 07:04

That looks great @sadtoday21

Another weekend, another chemical for me. Wondering if the Drs will take it seriously, by the time I get an appointment it would be 6 months since the MMC so maybe they would do something. Ho hum, at least I get my eyebrows done now.

3204ECL · 08/07/2019 07:05

@Kiki061190 I'm doing well thanks. Just over 9 weeks now and we had another scan last week and all is looking well so far. Still quite anxious at times but starting to have some better days in between now which is nice! Your chart really does look great. The second rise is a good sign. Got everything crossed for you xxx

3204ECL · 08/07/2019 07:07

@bananamonkey so sorry to hear this. I really hope the doctors do take it seriously and you can get the help you need. Thinking of you. xxx

Kiki061190 · 08/07/2019 07:22

@3204ECL 9 weeks already! Amazing! So happy for you ♥️

@bananamonkey so sorry you’ve had another chemical! Hopefully the doctors can provide some help ♥️

Catconfusion · 08/07/2019 07:54

Oh no @bananamonkey that's rubbish news. Yes they do need to take you seriously now. You can't go on like this. I hope you get some answers soon. I'll be thinking of you today! Xx

You're chart is looking good @Kiki061190 I hope you get some good news. Xx

That's great news @3204ECL I'm really pleased it's going well for you! Xx

I'm cd 17 today and my temps are lovely and low so I'm hopeful O is coming soon. I'm eating more carefully this time to help with the pcos so that might help. I've given up dairy, gluten and sugar plus no alcohol or caffeine. I hate that pcos means I have to do this to ovulate but it's just how it is. I'll do anything to avoid the horrible anovulatory cycle I had last time. Xx
