bubbly, policy varies a lot on how you get results. Some people had a follow up appointment to discuss the results and any treatment. Mine was a letter in the post with the results which said they would 'support me through any future pregnancy', but she didn't really mean that, because when i tried to phone for advice next time it took weeks until she got back to me!
In terms of questions, I would definitely be asking if you will be supported in a future pg and how you access that support (my consultant refuses to respond to emails).
Ask about what treatment they will offer you if results come back positive OR normal and ask how you access that medicine (prescribed by consultant or gp?, can you get it in advance so it is ready waiting to take from bfp/7dpo?).
Many of us are on the Coventry protocol, progesterone suppositories 2×daily from either 7dpo or bfp and heparin injections from location scan (for its cytoprotective effect on placental cells, not for clotting disorder). Ask about whether this might be an option. The implantation clinic at Coventry prescribe this to most people, even in the absence of a high nk cells diagnosis. It's worth going with a good idea of what you might like them to prescribe. I hadn't really done much research on heparin/progesterone before i went so I wasn't able to properly discuss it at my appt, which felt like a missed opportunity later.
Ask about when results will be ready, how you will be given them, whether you will need to repeat the clotting bloods and whether they advise waiting for results before ttc again.
I'm sure you will have lots more questions about things like whether they see a pattern to your losses and how likely it is to happen again, but these are all the practical ones that i forgot to ask!! I hope this helps a bit x
