Great news thorn! Really glad you've had progression. Such a stressful time

Marchgirl · 02/07/2015 07:07

Good luck today sun x

Brummiegirl15 · 02/07/2015 07:23

Good luck today Sun

Well my nausea has definitely eased off but it's still there in the background. Main thing for me is the crippling tiredness and tingly boobs. Cannot lie on my front anymore as they hurt.

Am hoping these are all good signs!!!!!

Justonemoretime · 02/07/2015 07:34

Good news Thorn and Brummie. Grin
Brummie, I always wondered whether you kind of get used to the general feeling of nausea in the back ground. I bet, if you could switch it off for a moment, you'd realise how strongly it was still there. Grin

bakingtins · 02/07/2015 07:38

Good luck sun

BumbleBee0 · 02/07/2015 07:46

Good luck for your scan sun xxx

bootles · 02/07/2015 07:47

Hand holding for today sun, agree that twinges of all sorts are definitely normal - things are starting to stretch.

cloud that is fantastic! Must be an imense relief, I'm absolutely made up for you! X

barking that sounds like some progress with the appointment, hope they are able to offer you something sooner. How is your dad?

flen yes I was asking about the line, glad to hear its progressing. Sorry about the grim symptoms though, I haven't had them like that with progesterone but sounds like others have.

But bloating with progesterone - God yes, worse than normal pg bloating. Really uncomfortable.

thorne good news on line darkening

brummie exhaustion and boobs are good signs - remember everyone and every pg is different. I have had sore boobs from 9 weeks this time, but have never had them before, including with DS. Not long until your scan now.

onestep you were up in the early hours - are you having trouble sleeping? Hugs.

march I'm trying to remember about which side each one came from - I'm pretty sure I have had mc's from both sides - I didn't get O pain until after DS.

MrsConfusion · 02/07/2015 07:58

sun good luck for today. I had loads of pain with DD from 12 weeks until my tummy gave up and popped into bump.

flen, brummie, thorn yay for darkening lines and symptoms, holding hands for the panic you feel but from here, you're looking good

march I think I've got one quick ovary and one slow one. Ov pains this month were horrid and ongoing ( or I've had ibs for a few weeks). My insides are definitely different now.

Justonemoretime · 02/07/2015 08:05

Re: ov sides, mc#3 (turners) was left, Scott was right. No idea whether that's significant... I don't know which side mc#1 or #2 came from.

Thorn sounds good xx

bootles yes. I was sleeping like a baby for the past month, now back to broken sleep and bang on 3am again. I have been doing that for years, soooo annoying.

JRH just phoned my hcg yesterday was down to 39. Haven't tested yet but pinging pain on left side yesterday afternoon so pretty sure I ovulated yesterday. Dr said it was perfectly possible and to expect af in two weeks.

Frecklefire · 02/07/2015 09:39

So fecked off with dh! Got smiley tuesday (had sex mon and tues night), it is nearly impossible trying to fit sex around having a two year old who os in bed with you from 2am. Yesterday evening he went out to cycle race over hours that would be perfectly good to dtd, then by bedtime it was so hot and he was tired that he couldn't finish! Right when ee need it. Most likely oved between 7pm and 7am this morn and am relying on sperm from tuesday night to work! Wondering if there is any point trying again today, even though have probably already ovulated. Does egg hang around for 24 hours?? Feel exhaisted will all the effort!!!

OneStep2015 · 02/07/2015 09:54

Freckle sorry to hear your frustrations. It must be so difficult with a two yr old in the mix too. Used to have similar situation when dh was flying off to Europe constantly with work, he was exhausted from the travelling and I was so wrapped up in frustration that we kept missing the right times, I think I was so stressed with it that it was very difficult to get pregnant feeling like that!
Hope you haven't missed the egg xx

Justonemoretime · 02/07/2015 09:54

Freckle, how annoying of your dh, although I know from experience that starting that argument isn't conducive to sexy time! Fwiw, the best time to DTD is the days leading up to ov, not ov day itself, so I think you've done enough to have a good chance this month. xx

twilightstruggle · 02/07/2015 09:55

Freckle - if I'm understanding you right I think you're well covered. If you ov last night - this morning the sperm from Tues night would only be 24-36 hr long and should still largely be fine. I think the egg does hand about 24h so may be worth another go tonight if you both feel up to it. But honestly I think you're good. Correct if not everyone else.

Sunandrainbow · 02/07/2015 09:56

Scan went well! All looking good and low risk downs wise. And because I also had harmony test, found out it's a boy! Over the moon but feels very surreal. Thank you all so much for the good wishes. xxx

Justonemoretime · 02/07/2015 10:00

I saw a programme once about conception which said that sperm kind of go to sleep in the uterus and tubes and then the chemical signal from the egg at ovulation wakes them up at the right time. That's how they last up to 5 days. It was a BBC horizon thing.

Justonemoretime · 02/07/2015 10:01

Great news Sun! Grin Grin

cloudjumper · 02/07/2015 10:24

Fab news, sun! Smile

BumbleBee0 · 02/07/2015 10:31

Yey sun woo hoo!! Grin Congratulations on finding out you're having a boy!

I also think you'll be fine freckle and that sperm can survive 5 days (and rarely up to 7 days?).

Oooh that's interesting just, I was watching YouTube vids of fertilisation last week and it's just so amazing and clever how it all happens.

Oh sasha, sounds like you're having a rotten time. Big hugs. Hope your hormones start to regulate soon and you will feel calmer. Don't worry about catching up. I've been so shit and really conscious I keep missing people's news (I've resorted to taking notes in the past too Blush)

barking hope this means you will be starting your next round sooner. Fingers crossed for you.

Good luck to all those in the 2ww, really hoping for another wave of bfps!!

Hope your consultation goes well tonight march and prof B works his magic and sparks some positivity for you. I know it will happen for you and you will get your baby.

BumbleBee0 · 02/07/2015 10:34

Has anyone heard from monten lately? I hope she is ok.

Hope sebs is hanging in there too.

And tanny hope DH is still being understanding and things are starting to improve.

OneStep2015 · 02/07/2015 10:36

Sun lovely news, congratulations!!Grin

twilightstruggle · 02/07/2015 10:52

Ooo - just received the letter to say that my molar pregnancy follow-up has finished and is all fine. I can now start TTC again

Fab news Sun!

Who have we got in the TWW then? March, Minnie, Freckle, Biscuits, me and... I think there is someone else... Love how we've all synched and really feeling that there is likely going to be some luck in 2 weeks.

MorganLeFey · 02/07/2015 11:20

Sasha I'm not having homeopathy or on anything else to blame at the moment (waiting till few days post Ov to start pred then hopeful BFP/10DPO for cyclogest) & I keep crying too! I think it's just shit.

Will they monitor your follicles on the clomid?

I am currently panicking through various scenarios & mostly financial implications like what if we end up needing a host surrogate as I keep mc-ing (!) or if I do make it out of a first trimester will I have enough faith in the NHS anymore or will I need to find a private Obstetrician...
Thank you for everyone facebook-insights! I think people seeing themselves as a brand to promote is true & it's totally skewed to happy things. Started thinking ahead to whether to do a sad overshare when it's our next & last should've-been due date in 2015 because it's the week before miscarriage/pregnancy loss awareness week in October - so perhaps a topical tie-in! Hah.

Marchgirl · 02/07/2015 11:22

Also loopy and may and maybe barking (a bit further on) i think twilight. Loads of us! It's like when you live with other women and all end up being in sync!

freckle, i think you'll be fine. We didn't dtd last night either so I'm in the same position Confused. Interesting what you say about the sleeping sperm just. Hope it's true

Yay sun!!! So pleased for you and lovely to know you're team blue

Glad you've been discharged and can ttc now twilight (officially!)

sasha, yuk, the clomid side effects sound horrible. Hope it gets better now you've finished the course.

Glad your numbers are right down now onestep. Are you having a break this month? Hope you're doing ok x
