Argh feck the monitor has just gone to peak (straight from low!) and rob is at work. No dtd yesterday! How do I get an early bonk in when he gets home with ds running around?! All pgs have resulted from before 4 bonks on the day of peak- hoping this isn't wasted. Looks like I'm joining the line with all the other dtders yesterday! Come on bfps!!!!

Minnie74 · 01/07/2015 08:28

flen can't help with cyclogest but it sounds awful. I'm sure the scan will help put your mind at rest. X

bakingtins · 01/07/2015 09:22

flen I didn't have that problem with progesterone but it can be irritant. If you are (ahem) using the back door try doing it vaginally instead.

bootles yes, start weaning the Pred at 10 weeks, so you have completely stopped by 12 weeks.

twilightstruggle · 01/07/2015 10:01

Minnie - excited that you're joining out ttw club but irritated for you that it's gone to peak immediately. I've been doing a lot of reading today about the best days to dtd and I doubt it'll be too late even if it ends up being later this evening. Apparently it's 12-48hr after peak which gives you plenty of time, esp if you stick on a 24hour life cycle of egg. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

twilightstruggle · 01/07/2015 10:02

Flen - I second Baking. Try the other way!

cloudjumper · 01/07/2015 10:10

Flen I am having very similar problems when taking the cyclogest in the evening, strangely it's all OK in the mornings. I second trying the other way!
Another problem is that the pessaries are just melting in this heat, I'm struggling to get them in... It's all sooo glamourous.

Brummiegirl15 · 01/07/2015 10:14

Flen that is exactly what happened to me!!! A few days after taking the. 400mg I had terrible diarrhoea and had sweats as well. But it only happened once and I've been fine

Flen · 01/07/2015 10:16

Thank you everyone. I also emailed Prof B (again! Eek!) and he has suggested going to my doctor and asking for another form of progesterone, so I will do that tomorrow (although no idea if I will have any success!) Tonight I will try vaginally instead. The cramping is so scary - convinced it will set something bad off...

bootles (I think) thank you for asking, I did three superdrug tests over five days and it got stronger, then did a digi yesterday which said 2-3 weeks. Absolutely trying to keep my head down!

Flen · 01/07/2015 10:17

xpost brummie oh that is good to know! Maybe it will settle.

Minnie74 · 01/07/2015 10:25

twilight thanks! I think your right that I should be ok with timing. I've probably never got pg when I thought I did previously anyway. So bloody hot at the moment, dh is a sweaty mess! we might end up dtd outside at this rate! grin]

Boozle80 · 01/07/2015 11:26

Marking my place in between pooey nappies :)

OneStep2015 · 01/07/2015 12:25

Flen Yes me too, had cold sweats/chills and a bit of cramping, seemed to always hit me immediately after dinner at 7pm and would have to immediately run to the loo!! Please let us know what your doctor suggests.

Marchgirl · 01/07/2015 13:06

Yay for joining the tww club Minnie!

I have a question for anyone who has obvious ovulation pain. Have you noticed any correlation between which side you ov on and whether you fall pg/whether you mc? Just been over thinking about this as it's definitely left sided pain this month, but the last 3 pg (all unsuccessful) have been right sided. First 3 pgs I don't know which side they were.
I'm wondering if I can perhaps only get pg on the right side, so I won't be pg this month, or if I'm feeling more positive, perhaps I can get pg both sides but all tge right sided ones end in mc (so maybe this one will be OK if it fertilises!) Or of course it could be completely coincidental. Does anyone else see a correlation?

BumbleBee0 · 01/07/2015 13:46

march I've wondered the same thing too! With my mcs I felt they had implanted on the left. Not sure about DS but had sharp twinges on right when pg with him. After mc1 Ive felt extra achy when ov'ing on the left and during prof b scan it took slightly longer to locate left ovary as I think they were a bit 'saggy'?? Always makes me wonder if my left sides a bit knackered. I think this time ov and implantation was right so hoping it will be different.

BumbleBee0 · 01/07/2015 14:22

Got my first scan appointment for next wed. Will be 6.5wks by then, hoping it won't be too late to start the clexane. Aarrrrrggg, scary!!

Frecklefire · 01/07/2015 15:03

Flen** prog def gives runs, think the sweats and cramp with be a secondary symptom of having the runs. Xx

Minnie** yay! Welcome to the sweaty, slimey summer bonk-fest!!!

fififolle · 01/07/2015 15:16

Flen how are you today? I typed a reply earlier but it disappeared. It's good to see a cyclogest question on here. I've been on it for just over a week now and for the past couple of days I've had loose BMs. I'm also boiling in the mornings but not sure if that's just me rushing about. Are you bloated at all with it? I can't do my trousers up and am only 7 +2!

Flen · 01/07/2015 15:49

fifi totally bloated, and I'm only 4.2!! It's hard to work out what else might be linked to it or linked to pregnancy...

freckle exactly my love, EXACTLY. Every time I've eaten something today I've had to scamper to the loo straight away, but luckily the sweating and cramping was only big style this morning. Will see how I fare with it up the other way...

onestep horrid isn't it? I will certainly let you know what the doc says.

mrsdiddlydoo · 01/07/2015 15:50

I go away for 5 nights (survived camping thank God... Hard work feeling sick with a 2 year old and big kid dh) and I miss 10 pages you chatty bunch. Will catch up properly later.

mrsC all sounds good to me. So p!eased your hcg is rising and eggs in right place.

thorn hope your bfp isn't chemical. Congratulations btw too.

Great scan news cloud and bootles. Can't remember if there was another.

Yay for pooey nappies boozle

Batt is about to die. My only update can be that my trousers don't seem to fit anymore which means I must be growing something in there. Feeling a bit more optimistic atm. Hope it stays. 16 weeks tomorrow...

Brummiegirl15 · 01/07/2015 16:32

Bloody hell MrsD where did 16 weeks come from?? How fab!!

I am so bloated, I went out last night for DP's birthday and I wore a maxi dress with heels and i actually looked pregnant. Clearly it's all bloat but I had an unmistakeable bump. I'm actually feeling self conscious because I do actually look pregnant and I'm worried colleagues will notice.

Brummiegirl15 · 01/07/2015 16:33

Oh and Flen the progesterone is making me trump like you wouldn't believe

fififolle · 01/07/2015 16:38

I know that feeling Brummie Blush

BumbleBee0 · 01/07/2015 16:46

Re. the progesterone, I had a 'stomach bug' last week and now wondering if some of this was down to progesterone... It has definately made me looser although I think I've maybe got used to it more the last few days. As for trumping, I think pregnancy makes me trump like a champ anyway....Blush

barkingtreefrog · 01/07/2015 17:37

twilight I've tried a lot of things over the last 3.5 years, but injecting myself in the eye is probably a step too far for me!! Shock
freckle glitter and goats urine you say? Hmm.. Hmm

Lovely receptionist has spoken to the lovely consultant who has put a note in my file and we have an appointment with a nurse next weds to discuss the FET Grin.

Sunandrainbow · 01/07/2015 18:25

Hello ladies - so I am 13 weeks today and have scan tomorrow morning. The thing is, I've been having twinges today quite low down in abdomen - nothing severe but they have been coming and going all day. Am trying and failing not to panic. Has anyone had anything similar at this stage?? x
