Sending Internet hand holding
mrsc. Keeping everything crossed for you. x

twilightstruggle · 30/06/2015 15:21

Hand hold MrsC. Very much hoping all will be well. X

March - I'm going with yay seeing as it seems more sensible to go with the 'glass half full' response. I'm starting to worry it must be my eggs though. Plus I'm grumbly as I think I missed ovulation. Grumble grumble.

Brummie - happy birthday to MrBrummie. Symptoms wax and wane though I know that's no comfort. One day at a time TYAP.

Great news on the scans Cloud, Bootles and Sebs

Sebs thinking of you at this time as I am think of all the ladies who are in the early stages and having trouble with their thoughts. An unfortunate effect of suffering a mc is worrying about every other pregnancy that you have Flowers

Thorn fingers xd everything works out for you

MrsC good luck today

OneStep i know how you feel about the news effecting you. When i was on way to get my scan for to confirm the 2nd MC there was yet another earthquake in Nepal. Horrible times as that's where my in laws are from. Time spent on the phone frantically frying to contact everyone whilst waiting to find out we had lost yet another baby.

I stupidly wasted my FREP test on Friday and again on Sunday, both BFN. Just waiting for AF to start now. Was expecting it today as been cramping for 4 days now but no sign as yet. Just wondering if the second mc has increased my cycle length again. This will be the first complete cycle since the mc in May.

twilightstruggle · 30/06/2015 15:28

Sasha - hugs for due date. Always painful. And I know what you mean about looking round and thinking about what might've been.

I just phoned up local adoption agency not entirely impulsively, we've been considering it for a bit. They were completely useless weren't terribly helpful. Just told me several times I had to come back 6 months after I completed my last round of IVF. Which was bizarre as I never mentioned IVF as I haven't had it and corrected her the first time she said it, explaining again that I wasn't having IVF as it isn't indicated in recurrent miscarriage. I think her 'fertility record' just got stuck on repeat! I tried to explain that I wasn't asking to apply to adopt, just looking for more info to help make the decision to stop TTC. But she just responded again with "6 months after last ivf". Totally bizarre.

BunnyMad · 30/06/2015 15:47

Sasha its a tough time and hard not to think of what might have been. Mine is coming up in a few weeks and we are lucky enough to be on holiday at Lake Windermere so hoping we can do something to mark the day. Hugs to you x

Twilight, that's just strange that they wont even give you some basic info. Sometimes I think its pot luck depending on who you get at the end of the phone depends on if you get your queries answered can be applied to all call centres frustrated for you x

MrsConfusion · 30/06/2015 17:18

In haste, from bus - scan ok, blob in right place so not ectopic (phew!!), next scan 10th July. Hcg doubled from 3900 fri to 8600 on sun. Very early days but that's our first positive scan since DD's 20 week scan (2012!). Thanks for all the handholding ladies, it really helps to feel less alone x

BumbleBee0 · 30/06/2015 17:32

Sounds very positive mrsC Smile x

OneStep2015 · 30/06/2015 17:52

Great news MrsC xx

twilightstruggle · 30/06/2015 17:56

Great news MrsC.

You're right Bunny. I think she was just really busy and not listening properly truth be told. It's helped us make the decision that we want to ttc so I guess it was useful in that respect!

Frecklefire · 30/06/2015 18:09

Good news mrsc!!

Twilight, why is it that so many poor communicators work on the end of the phone??!! Glad it was helpfully unhelpfull in the end though (!?!)

Am currently ov testing constantly, bonking and using mooncup, just incase clearblue is not working right and i suddenly ov at work. Also taking 7 sups now (binned agnus castus and added coq10). Only a couple of glasses of wine a week and only 1 weak cup of coffee a day. On the cough mixture and also a high protien low carb/sugar diet. Not much else i can do for now but whistle...

OneStep2015 · 30/06/2015 18:17

Twilight that's infuriating, if that was me I would have lost it on the phone with that lady!!

twilightstruggle · 30/06/2015 18:28

Weirdly it was so bad it was a bit funny!

OneStep2015 · 30/06/2015 18:37

Must have been the heat affecting her!Wink

Frecklefire · 30/06/2015 18:57

Ov smiley at last! Whoopee!!

Minnie74 · 30/06/2015 19:26

Sorry no time to read back (bloody end of term work pile on!) but congrats mrsC

And can't not ask freckle how does the mooncup help the sperm to get there? Do they sense the egg and zoom out of the cup or does it totally stop them getting back out in the first place? I've got to admit the thought of walking round all day with gradually chilling semen stuck in my bits makes feel a bit queasy! Confused Although I'm getting desperate so might be seriously looking into it in a couple more bfn cycles! Grin

Marchgirl · 30/06/2015 19:51

Yay mrsc! All sounds very positive. Roll on 10th July!

sasha hugs for your due date. They are always days for reflection on what could have been for me too, but I hope now it's passed you can begin to look forward again. Interested to hear how you find the clomid

bunny, sorry about the bfns. Could it be too early? How many dpo are you?

twilight, sorry to hear you had such a crap/bizarre response from the adoption people. But glad it cemented your thoughts on trying again. I honestly have a very strong feeling that you will get your baby. I don't know why, can't explain it and it probably doesn't mean much to you, but i just have this clear feeling about it!

Woohoo on the smiley freckle! I also got mine about 2 hours ago so we are in sync. Feel like I've already ov last night/this morning though, so bit Confused but hey ho. One more crack of the whip tonight then into the dreaded tww. Again.

Where are you up to minnie? I have to admit i used a mooncup for the first time last night, basically because my hayfever is so bad at the moment i was sneezing all DH's good work straight out again Blush, so had to take action to try to save some!

twilightstruggle · 30/06/2015 20:10

Gah - solid smiley here too!Grin

Frecklefire · 30/06/2015 20:19

Ha ha on the sperm sneezes March**! And how strange - we oved at the same time last month too AND last night was my first time for the mooncup too!!!

Minnie**, i have to admit i don't really have 100% faith in it (or understanding!) But i always really need a wee after dtd and even if i hang on til the middle of the night or the next morning it seems to come out. The idea of the mooncup is that it stops the sperm coming down - so it at least gives the sperm the oportunity to lap against the cervix as you're lying down in bed. You can keep it in for 12 hours, so you could do knees up when you get the oportunity through that time. I suppose if people got the chance to dtd in the morning they could keep it in during the day. It might be total bollocks, but i had been contemplating one for periods anyway so thought i may as well try. Lots of positive stories about them on-line!

Marchgirl · 30/06/2015 20:47

Ooo. We're all in tune! Lots of hand holding then. I have no idea whether the moon cup will help but i thought I'd give it a go. Not sure whether to use it again tonight. They are a bit odd.

bootles · 30/06/2015 21:10

march maybe the consult with Prof Brosens is something you need to do, to hear - even if you suspect you know what he will say. He may add a bit of faith and encouragement that it Will happen.

mrsconfusion that sounds like a good scan and bloods - good news!

twilight I agree its essentially good that your nk cells are normal, and definitely that things seem to be functioning. Frustrating not to have answers I'm sure, but essentially good.

barking also essentially good that your nk cells are normal too of course, though I realise it may not feel like that.

brummie its so stressful, but you won't feel sick all of the time, you'll have times when you feel really ok. I know you know this. Huge massive hugs to get you through until Friday x

Frecklefire · 30/06/2015 21:13

Woohoo, twilight** on the bonkathon too!!

BumbleBee0 · 30/06/2015 21:16

Ha ha freckle! Good luck tonight girls! Wink Hope this month is it and you'll be getting BFPs in the next 2 wks. X

MorganLeFey · 30/06/2015 21:18

Sasha It's my 2nd MC EDD today too! I think we're quite synchronised - both second cycle trying after 3rd MC now..? My cycles are usually 35 days though so it all feels so sloooow.

I dreamt about people I know who are pregnant having stillborn babies last night - woke up quite traumatised.

Smug friend with month old posting pictures of herself back at the gym on Facebook - so probably need to expand my "Unfollow" list...

Sebs Everyone has already said it but do keep posting IF it's helpful to you. Don't worry about the triggering thing - I suspect everyday life is triggering to most of us..!
