Boozle, congratulations. Wonderful news. Grin Grin

Marchgirl · 25/06/2015 14:22

Amazing news boozle! Lovely to hear and gorgeous name (is it the Scottish pronunciation 'varry' or like 'marie'?) You were the first one to announce bfp after i joined in october, so makes me proud to see you cross the finishing line (if a little sad that i could have had an entire pg in the time I've been here!) Well done StarStarStar

Boozle80 · 25/06/2015 14:44

I'm ashamed to say it's pronounced the English way as Mar-hee. We thought that she'd have a hard enough time spelling it to everyone :). She's just brilliant!

BumbleBee0 · 25/06/2015 14:48

Yeyyy Boozle! That's wonderful! And a beautiful name. Grin

Sunandrainbow · 25/06/2015 14:49

Ah boozle that's brilliant news and love the name!!!! Hope you are doing well too? xxxx

BumbleBee0 · 25/06/2015 14:54

Sorry for the bfn maverick and Sasha Sad

And a big hug march, it's fuckin shit and not fair and you have every right to be angry. Please keep ranting on here if it helps. Did you have your phone consultation with prof B btw?

Thanks for all your responses re. Heparin. I phoned Kerri and she said they wouldn't scan til 6wks there so think I'll probably stick with the scan up here in sheffield. However, I'm on 40mg which seems to be higher than the norm. I only noticed recently though so I've not asked about it and can only assume it's because I have fvl. They haven't suggested extending post 12 weeks though.

Lovemylittlebear · 25/06/2015 15:20

Wonderful news booze congratulations :)

Lovemylittlebear · 25/06/2015 15:26

Hi morgan

I got told to take it straight the way before location scan (privately)...I did raise the points you mentioned but was just kind of told to "take it" and I stress too much if I research so in this instance I did. I had an ectopic last year so I was nervous about that...but the consultant didn't seem bothered which suprised me. I'm off the injections now as nearly 14 weeks. Bruising was getting pretty bad near the end so I was worried may have been thinning out my blood too efficiently. Just come off all the meds now apart from asparin ( which I am thinking about fading out).... Very nervous about it all lasting by itself now but trying to stay positive.

Had a lovely sonographer (first nice nhs one in the past year). She couldn't understand why I was sobbing though but it was like I could finally acknowledge I might actually be pregnant and there is a baby in there after that scan...weird feeling. Wishing everyone well today xxx

Lovemylittlebear · 25/06/2015 15:54

Forgot to say - brummie - thinking if you this week...I remember this is a tricky week for you. Best of luck and fingers crossed it goes smoothly and quickly x

Marchgirl · 25/06/2015 15:58

I think both versions of mhairi are lovely boozle, so chuffed for you.

Its been 4 months between mc 4 and mc 5 bootles, so really not that short a time. I just don't feel like i can afford to waste any more time waiting between these early mcs if that's just what's going to happen with the hyperfertility thing. I'd be gutted to think i missed a good egg because i was getting over a chemical pg from a bad egg that should just have been a bfn for a 'normal' person. I've just got to be more pragmatic about it and crack on.

BunnyMad · 25/06/2015 16:06

Congrats to you Boozle, hope you post a pic of your beautiful girl soon Grin

Great news on the scans Bootles, Erica and Little

Glad to hear you are ok Brummie that must have been terrifying Shock

Whispered congrats Flen

Still in the 2ww. Not sure what my dpo is though as the ovulation kit was void for the last 4 attempts. So annoying after spending all the money well husband spending all that money Grin The CB did that to me before when the first 6 days worked fine then the last 4 had an error. Think i am around 7 dpo judging by Fertility friend. But my temp is everywhere so its hard to say.

Was a looking for advice on the ovulation kit. I bought the CB digital one which tracks one hormone. But when the digital bit says its has an error I don't know how to read it. Was wondering if there is a better option out there?

Was also wondering when is the earliest I can test for pregnancy?

cloudjumper · 25/06/2015 16:09

Waving hello to all xxxxx

tannyLoo · 25/06/2015 16:29

Boozle that is wonderful news and a fabulous name! So so so pleased for you chicken. xxx

We'd love a photo of her on the photo thread if you feel like it Grin

I'm sorry for just lurking a bit. Dr was very nice and sympathetic on Monday but I don't want to take SSRIs if I can help it, they make me feel very detached and flat, and CBT isn't really a goer for me either. Unfortunately, that's what's on offer, so I feel a bit on my own with it. We agreed that I'd go back if things got worse but both felt that sleep would be very curative. No shit.

Re location scan... I had a history of very early losses that were before the 6 week mark, so waiting til 6 weeks was way too late to get started on heparin. I begged with Coventry to get an early scan at 4+3 and started heparin that night. I think it's worth getting in there early only if early loss is a feature...

March have some hugs lovely. You are allowed to feel shitty. It will get better x

Although I'm lurking a bit, I am willing you all on at the sidelines.

fififolle · 25/06/2015 16:36

OneStep2015 · 25/06/2015 17:52

boozle lovely name and wonderful meaning. Congratulations to you.

longestlurkerever · 25/06/2015 18:27

Congratulations boozle, what lovely news! Lovely name too. Xxx

Morgan fx! I have pcos and had gestational diabetes too so think insulin could have been my issue (6 weeks ish gestation but mmc being my typical mc). I ccouldn't get anyone to prescribe metformin but agnus castus may have made a difference.

tanny glad the dr was supportive even if the suggested treatments not that helpful for you. Please keep an open mind and go back if you feel worse. Xxx

girliesaints · 25/06/2015 19:00

Congrats Boozle x

Back from my rmc appointment. Results of the genetics tests were back and unsurprisingly they're clear. I've been referred to have a hysteroscopy to double check everything is ok with uterus, which the current wait is 3-4 months and told in the meantime not to tto ????

Consultant's opinion is that I am showing classic signs of being super fertile however I'm a spring chicken at 37, so not to stress about my age! The twin pregnancy has complicated matters and could itself could be a reason for a mc. Aah back to the classic, keep trying but only when we say....

Flen · 25/06/2015 19:01

booozle congratulations! Beautiful name, beautiful meaning.

Could someone just talk me down from progesterone madness? Meant to take from BFP but somehow convinced myself that if I take it too soon, it may un-implant. Am 10dpo today, going to test again tomorrow morning to see if the line is stronger. Not managing to wait til Sat, as planned...!

barkingtreefrog · 25/06/2015 19:34

Morgan I was in a similar position, for both my pregnancies I would have been on great maternity pay from work, but after two mc in the classroom when I was offered a new job outside teaching I took it in order to reduce the stress. It was the right decision as a year on I'm still not pg, so hanging on would just have given me another year in the classroom, including an Ofsted and then HMI inspection. I've seen my former colleagues, they are broken and stressed out.

onestep I spoke to a friend last night who went to the same fertility clinic as us but under a different consultant. When my friend got upset in an appointment (the ivf had failed) the consultant asked her what she was upset about?! She then told her that perhaps she needed to relax.... They made a formal complaint and didn't have to see that consultant again!!! I would definitely write that letter, you don't have to send it yet.

Grin Grin congratulations boozle!!!!!!

Tanny I don't want to be a drug pusher, but have you tried different SSRIs? They don't all suit everyone you have to find what is right for you.

Cd21 and still nowt. I'd love to join the ladies on the 2ww but it seems my body has forgotten how to ovulate!! Angry

barkingtreefrog · 25/06/2015 19:36

Flen I think from bfp could be interpreted as from 14dpo, as bot everyone would test early, and if they wanted you to take it asap they would tell you to test early. That's my logic anyway!!

barkingtreefrog · 25/06/2015 19:37

not bot isn't even a bloody word!!!
