Flen, i am really willing this on for you. You have been a woderful support on this thread and i really hope that the next test shows a good strong line for you. Smile

Minnie74 · 24/06/2015 15:08

Yay flen congrats! So pleased for you. Could I ask if you did Cov and how many cycles post scratch you are if you did? Everything crossed for an uneventful sticky eight months!

mrsd good that the nausea is on it's way but sorry you're still really anxious. Hope it gets less and less too x

brummie what a nightmare! Glad you're ok!

sebs I'll (hypocritically) join in with saying step away from Dr Google. You can find worrying things for any symptom at all and it's an extra stress you don't need. Strong hcg has got to be better than weak hasn't it? Try to relax (I know easier said than done!) this is your lucky time and remember TYAP!

Sunandrainbow · 24/06/2015 15:37

Oh my god - just read back and seen brummies post! Bloody hell! - hope rest of day has been mundane! x

bakingtins · 24/06/2015 15:59

girlie Coventry plan would be progesterone from Cd21 to increase lining receptivity and selectivity, and heparin injections from an early location scan to protect placental cells.

brummie that sounds terrifying, glad you are ok.

flen whispered congrats!

girliesaints · 24/06/2015 16:40

Thanks the explanation Bakingx

barkingtreefrog · 24/06/2015 16:41

Brummie that sounds terrifying, hope everyone involved is Ok.

Flen just letting out a little
Smile

Brummiegirl15 · 24/06/2015 18:44

Flen that is very exciting!!!!

I'm ok after little drama - although was quite shaken when I got to work. The lady was ok although her car suffered a bit. Basically the lorry driver hadn't seen her and started to move over - originally he started to move whilst moving past me and I thought he was going to hit me - but he carried on passed me and hit her! So 2 seconds earlier leaving the house it could've been me.

But the lady has sent me a lovely bunch of flowers to say thank you for "my help and kindness this morning"

Was really touched. I only did what anybody else would've done

Thank you for all your lovely words everyone, I feel genuinely touched. What a supportive and glorious bunch you are.

bumble it was a Superdrug's own one...

minnie we are third cycle post Coventry. The last two cycles I've been taking progesterone from 7dpo, but in consultation with Prof B he said not to this time round, but to take from BFP. I am going to wait until the BFP gets stronger though, so if it's still a line on Sat then I will take it from then, that will be 12dpo.

Have looked at my pic of the test about eight million times today, trying to enjoy and be positive. If it doesn't work out I'll have plenty of time to feel rubbish again.

brummie how lovely to get the flowers, so nice when someone acknowledges ordinary kindness.

Floweroct · 24/06/2015 19:03

brummie that sounds terrifying glad it was all ok.

flen whispered congrats!

barking thanks for the info.

Good news on the clomid whef!

So, today didn't quite go to plan. Had my scan and essentially they've found a uterine septum or at least that what they think it is it could be a polyp or a bicornuate uterus. So no ivf for me at the momen. I've been referred to have a hysteroscopy or however you spell it. They've put me through as an urgent referral but it's still likely to be an 8 week wait for that and I think that's just a consultation rather than the procedure! On the one hand this is great news as it could be the reason for my infertility and mc and can be sorted. On the other hand I'm so annoyed why this hasn't been picked up before I've had this scan so many times before and it's just not been spotted so 4 years of crap could have been avoided potentiall! Would this not have been looked for at Coventry? So not sure whether to try in between Dr said to continue to ttc just no ivf for now but what if I miscarry again!

I just feel a bit dazed as our plan is now a completely different one!

Kazz2112 · 24/06/2015 19:35

Hi flower I recently had a scan as a result of my first visit to the rmc clinic which revealed I have a slightly bicornuate uterus. They said they may get me back for a hysteroscopy but not heard anything about it yet! Did they tell you anything about how it could potentially be treated?

Floweroct · 24/06/2015 19:39

Hi kazza no he didn't really go into detail, he said it was a septum or a polyp they can be easily removed, if it's bicornuate it depends how much it is if it's slight they potentially just leave it, if it's more pronounced then they cut it and try and reshape somehow. Apparently they all look quite similar on an ultrasound. Hope you hear back soon!

Justonemoretime · 24/06/2015 20:22

Flower, that's a pain. I had a septum removed in 2013. it was a straight forward operation and had one months recovery. Hope they get you sorted soon.

Marchgirl · 24/06/2015 20:26

Oh flower, how utterly frustrating! So disappointing that they didn't find this earlier. Is it quite small then? Seems a bit crap for them to not see it before (although to be fair, i haven't a clue how they interpret anything on ultrasound. It all just looks fuzzy to me). I really hope you get an appointment soon and can get this fixed.

How lovely to get flowers for doing your hero bit brummie, glad everyone is ok.

OneStep2015 · 24/06/2015 20:34

How lovely of that lady Brummie lovely flowers.

I came home one rainy night in London to find a tiny white note on my car windscreen outside my flat. A lady walking her child to school had watched a lady in a white transit van do a 3 point turn in the road and reverse in to my drivers door, completely busted it and my Ford Focus is Black. She watched her drive off and stop outside a flat further down the road. She walked up there and confronted the lady and got all her details and left them on the windscreen note for me to make an insurance claim. It was so nice of her. I said could I have her address and send her some chocolates but she didn't want anything. It was very good of her. It also wasn't the first time somebody had driven in to my car in that road and just driven off!!!! Grrr

Flower I hope you get it seen to soon, mega frustrating!! Xx

Boozle80 · 24/06/2015 21:19

See, lorries are scary things!

NotSpartacus · 24/06/2015 21:33

Evening all

I hope the rest of your day was uneventful brummie the lorry crash thing sounds terrifying. Fab that the lady you helped sent flowers for a proper thank you (and I doubt everyone would have stopped to help).

flower i was told after an HSG that I might have a septum years ago... But when they got in there for the hysteroscopy there was nothing there! The doc thought it must have been left over blood / lining that didn't come out with my period. Either way, everything was fine and I was pregnant again a few weeks later ( and it stuck).

Flen congrats. Really pleased for you.

Just catching up briefly, must go do more work now Sad. Hello to the rest of you.

girliesaints · 24/06/2015 22:05

Flower, totally empathise with you being frustrated. Fingers crossed appointment comes through soon x

barkingtreefrog · 24/06/2015 23:32

floweroct I'm gutted for you, so frustrating not to get going when you're all mentally geared up for it. Angry Thanks.

BumbleBee0 · 25/06/2015 04:00

How frustrating flower, I'm so sorry it means another delay. Was really hoping you would be starting ivf. FlowersBrewCake x

Catlover2014 · 25/06/2015 04:04

Keeping everything crossed for Brummie, Bootles and Just, those first 12 weeks are so tense. We're all routing for you and your peanuts.

MrsD I can't believe you're 14 weeks. For me your pregnancy is flying by but I'm sure you don't feel that way.

Waving hello to all you lovely ladies and hope all is ok. Sorry that I'm struggling to follow thread at the moment.

All is good here although Louis won't breastfeed and I've had a slightly irrational / emotional response to it all but I'm fine now.

Tanny sorry to hear you're struggling with PND. My aunt suffered it with both her children and it's hard. Make sure you get help and support from your local community, midwife and health visitor. And keep posting on here. It really helps to talk through Flowers

Justonemoretime · 25/06/2015 04:15

Morning Cat, sounds like you're on the night shift! Re bf, irrational and emotional seem perfectly normal to me in the early days! I'm not pg again, BTW.... crikey, can you imagine?! Scott is very much enjoying only child status for the foreseeable? Wink

Kazz2112 · 25/06/2015 06:12

Ugh. Woken up this morning with the most horrible lower back pain. It's more dull ache than pain. Feel.like AF is about to arrive but not due until a week on Monday at the earliest! Yet more to worry about!

bootles · 25/06/2015 07:04

cat and just it makes me smile to see your 4am postings, though I do feel for you with the exhaustion you must both be feeling.
cat irrational and emotional is definitely the norm, but sorry to hear you are still struggling with breeding, I hope things settle soon.

flowerI am so sorry you can't start ivf this cycle - must be unbelievably frustrating. It seems septums aren't easy to diagnose? Again how maddening that are just discovering it now. Really really hope your hysteroscopt comes through quickly so you can move forwards xx

Flen · 25/06/2015 07:39

flower how frustrating! I hope it all comes through really quickly, and don't be afraid to call them and nag! If there's one thing this forum has taught me, it's that!

mrsdiddlydoo · 25/06/2015 07:48

Loving the early morning posts cat and just Grin

cat you reminded me, Tanny I went to bed on Monday wondering how your gp appointment went but was too far from my phone to post. Only 3 days late... Were they helpful?

flower hope your appt comes through soon. How disappointing. Hope you are feeling OK x second the nagging. Can you get a cancellation maybe?

Lovely flowers brummie
